Shae, you do the same attack routine starting with a baseball style swing directly at the armor's helmet. It hits... hard... but doesn't phase the armor any worse than he already looks. The kick also connects to the mask, but the head just jerks back and then returns, seemingly doing no damage to the strong armor. (0 damage)
Round 5 - Ignatia is up! (Spectator illusion is gone)
Ignatia, it seems you were able to correct your sling accuracy after the previous miss... the stone cracks the armor again, directly in the same spot as your other shots, but this time the mask actually shatters, crumbling to the ground, leaving only a standing headless suit of armor. After a few moments, it sways a bit, drops to its knees, and then all the way down laying flat on the ground, seemingly dead.
Combat is over!!
Ignatia, I was creeping your character sheet and it seems you have a wicked feature where if you drop an enemy to 0 HP, you get 4 temp HP. Which I'm sure you already knew about :) I've marked that in my notes. They remain until you do a short or a long rest. Nicely done!
I will now post the results of Ignatia's previous Investigation/Perception rolls prior to the suit of armor battle.
The armor lies motionless, and headless. You are on the balcony level, and it's very dusty. You notice it's much dirtier than the previous floors. There are numerous doors again on this floor in all directions. All of them are closed. You currently don't hear any noises except the odd creak. Could be nothing. Could be something.
Ignatia, something else you notice is that there's some type of door built into the south wall. This is in addition to the regular door that is on the south wall. The door you notice built into the wall is a second door (red line on map), and it seems like it's a secret door, but it's been used so much it's so obvious that it's there and not really secret anymore.
Ignatia, your adrenaline is still pumping as you try the handle on the single door... and it opens....
...and leads into an empty bathroom. You see a wooden tub with clawed feet, a stove with a kettle on top, and a barrel under a spigot. There's a cistern on the roof which was used to collect rainwater which was streamed down a pipe to the spigot, but the plumbing no longer works.
Ignatia, you spin around and open the double doors... they creak open and you see what seems to be the master suite. It seems empty. From the entrance of the room where you are, you can see quite a bit of the room without entering it. You notice that the room, like the entire floor, is extremely dusty. There are cobwebs everywhere. There is a standard four post bed with old ratty sheets and blankets, with matching wardrobes, a vanity with a wood framed mirror and a closed jewelry box.
A rotting tiger skin rug lies on the floor (it's quite rancid and the smell is almost overwhelming when you open the doors) in front of the fire place, which has a dust covered portrait of Gustav and Elizabeth Durst hanging above it.
There's a cobwebbed filled parlor in the south east corner of the room, with a table and chairs. There's also an empty closet and a door which is open leading to a balcony which you can't really see from the entrance of the room.
Renny comes back to the top of the stairs to get a closer look at things. Before she gets very far she gags a bit at the smell wafting from the door, "Oh that's awful. What is that?"

Renny and Shae, you both advance into the master suite. Smell is horrible. Cobwebs everywhere. You get a good look around, and see the same things as Ignatia did (jewelry box, Durst portrait), and you also notice the dumb waiter accesses this room (SE corner). You peek out towards the balcony, and see that it is empty. You can see that the sun is almost completely set, and dusk is now approaching.
A source of light will likely be needed in the next little while for characters who can't see in the dark...
Ignatia, you remove the portrait from the wall. It was hung on a nail. It is quite dusty, but you can definitely make out that it's Gustav and Elizabeth Durst (the owners of the home).
When you think more about this, you remember that these people were also in the portrait you saw in the main hall of the second floor along with their 2 children (Rose and Thorn) and a swaddled baby which whom the mother (Elizabeth Durst) was looking at with disgust.
You've put together that the portraits are Gustav and Elizabeth Durst because of the signed will and deed that was in the secret room in the library, and that they are the parents of the 2 children Rose and Thorn (who were mentioned in the will) who you saw outside before you entered the house (as illusions), and likely the baby...
Renny breathes through her mouth and looks at the rug, or what used to be a rug. She tries some prestidigitation to see if it's something that can be cleaned... if not she'll maybe use the same spell and just keep puffing a lavender smell into the air around her to somewhat mask it.

Thinking over the stories and the family dynamics Ignatia kept coming back to the mother and child; was the child deformed? Tainted by fiendish forces? Or was it perhaps simply not wanted?
Still musing she moved over to the cupboard door and opened it.
" Flynt, can you move that light over here?"

Shae smiles sheepishly back at Ignatia, before launching into another attack routine.

What is next?!
Renny leans again the railing, "Oh wow... that one was hard to hit for some reason.."
"No boom today. Boom tomorrow. There's always a boom tomorrow"
"No power in the 'verse can stop me"
" Magic. Its weird."
"Glad we all made it through ok this time. Thanks to our draconic friend."
Ignatia pointed out the 'secret door' to the others, " Lets check that last."
She carefully tried the handle on the single door in front of her.....

" Bathroom. Moving on."
She span on the spot and opened the double doors adjacent.

" Does anybody covered head to toe in scales and metal want to go in first?", Ignatia grinned.
Renny comes back to the top of the stairs to get a closer look at things. Before she gets very far she gags a bit at the smell wafting from the door, "Oh that's awful. What is that?"
"No boom today. Boom tomorrow. There's always a boom tomorrow"
"No power in the 'verse can stop me"
" Tiger. Well....part of a tiger..."
" The outside part..."
Shae slips into the room, and takes a look around, wrinkling her nose at the smell.
"How long has this place been abandoned?"
She readies her staff next to her, and peers out toward the balcony.

Flynt cocks an eyebrow at the request and lights a torch. "Girl, I am not going in with that smell. However, I can light the way for us."
I have an intelligence of six, I know what I'm doing.
Ignatia steels herself against the smell then goes to look at the portrait, taking it down off the wall to do so.
