If I counted correctly, that's a total of 9 fails now if you include the advantage rolls as 2... I think at this point, in this particular game, these slabs are staying shut.
Flynt sighs. "I don't see any reason these slabs are going to move. We could always bury their bones outside. I don't think these children should be buried down here. Not in this house."

I have an intelligence of six, I know what I'm doing.
Ignatia, other than the two new directions to go within the dining hall, there's nothing else of particular interest in that room. There's the bones on the ground that you saw earlier, plus the dead Grick, and the furniture... that's about it. You kind of got a good look around already when you were in that room fighting the Grick due to your new darkvision and didn't notice anything of particular interest.
Shae nods and starts to investigate the current room more intently, now that the Grick is dead and its become apparent that the coffins aren't getting opened.
Ignatia shook her head at Renny, " Well...it is a monster, and it is in the basement.....but it didn't make much in the way of howling or moaning.....and that damn chanting is still going...theres more here to clean up yet."
She watched Shae search the area, " Well, if Shae doesn't find something lets head back up and see what we can see there."
Shae, you don't notice anything else of interest in the dining area, except of course the 2 passageways that are available (west staircase down, or south passageway).
Assuming you all go back to check out the other room that Ignatia was mentioning... you notice again the wooden table and 4 chairs. As you proceed into the room, to the south are four alcoves containing moldy straw pallets. This area of the dungeon seems to be some type of crude hostel. You also notice a passageway to the west, which seems to lead down another set of stairs.
If you decide to proceed west down the stairs, -OR- if you decide to go back to the room with the Grick and go either of those ways, whoever is leading and/or following into the next areas will need to make Perception and Stealth rolls. Minus the stealth if you don't care about being quiet.
Ignatia, you look from the top of the stairs, and can't see much... so you proceed down a few steps which allows you to see the main section of the next room. From where you are, you can see there there is a well in the center of the room. That's all you can determine from here.
You will need to roll a Perception check if you intend to move further into the room to get more details, as well as a Stealth check if you intend to be quiet.
If anyone else is following Ignatia, please also roll both of the checks. If you don't care about being quiet, then no need for the Stealth.

(We suuuuuuuuck at this)
(unbelievable!)
The slab does not budge, even with all 4 of you trying to move it.

Ignatia nodded, " So be it."
" Should we check that area with the tables and chairs first before we move on?"

OOC: Oops. I meant the smaller room to the north round corner.
(of course! Apologies, my bad)
What you're uncovered so far:
" Anyone?", Ignatia ventured again.
Renny looks in both directions and shrugs, "Might as well... unless you think this is all there was to the haunting?"
"No boom today. Boom tomorrow. There's always a boom tomorrow"
"No power in the 'verse can stop me"
Shae nods and starts to investigate the current room more intently, now that the Grick is dead and its become apparent that the coffins aren't getting opened.
Perception: 5
(Guys, I think the dice roller is broken)

What would you like to do?
New map:
Flynt is going to investigate this crude hostel looking area. Investigation - 12

(oh dice gods why!?)
"No boom today. Boom tomorrow. There's always a boom tomorrow"
"No power in the 'verse can stop me"
Flynt, it just seems like a crude hostel area. You find nothing of interest in this area.
" Well whoever lived here didn't leave much behind."
Ignatia moved around to the top of the stairs and gazed down into the darkness...
