Murder Mansion (2019-2020) - Game Thread

Renny has to allow herself a smile with how she helped smash that first zombie. She turns her attention to the others and decides to try throwing a fire bolt at the one across the room (#4).

Attack: 18 Damage: 7 Fire Damage (1=2)

Shae, you shoot the butt of your staff directly at the Zombie2's forehead, and it just misses as you pull the staff back and swing your backhand around which does land square in the zombie's temple. You feel your 2 big knuckles sink into the zombie's loose flesh. It makes a grunt and looks at you with evil intentions. (4 damage)

Renny, your Fire Bolt barely misses (I used 7 for attack roll) the Zombie4 and smashes into the southern wall. The resulting sparks hit the zombie but do no damage.

Round 3, Zombies, then Party

Zombie2 tries to hit Shae back to try and knock her over with its mangled arm Attack: 20 Damage: 4  and it smashes into her body (similarly to when the dead Karlina attacked her on the second floor!). She takes 7 damage, and is jolted hard from the impact. She is hurt. (I have Shae at 6 HP now, let me know if you have the same)

Zombie3 sees Flynt come down like a bat out of hell and tries to move and attack the dragonborn with a raking claw Attack: 6 Damage: 7 and the Zombie clumsily misses and almost trips over himself. "aaaarrrrrggghhhhhhhhhuuaaaaaaaaaaaagggg ggaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaggggg" the Zombie says.

Zombie4 tries to also claw Ignatia as she was the last one to poke it with her dagger Attack: 11 Damage: 5 this time, the matrix style dodge doesn't work, and the Zombie's arm smashes into her body. Luckily, she didn't take any cuts from the claws, but she takes the damage nonetheless (5 damage). 

Everyone (round4) is up!!

Flynt is going to attack the zombie once more.

Attack: 5 Damage: 9

Flynt, you are ruthless in your attacks as you bring the longsword up once more, to try and completely cut the zombie in two... finishing your initial diagonal cut... 13 and you succeed. The Zombie4's diagonal torso slice falls to the ground beside Ignatia, and then the rest of the body follows suit. (8 damage taken, Zombie4 is dead).

Renny, Shae, and Ignatia are up!

Seeing Shae surrounded and the thing next to her thoroughly decommisioned she threw a sling stone at the nearest zombie(3).

Attack: 13 Damage: 4

Renny mutters to herself and hurls another fire bolt at zombie3!!

Attack: 23 Damage: 2

Ignatia, you think your sling stone is going wide, but at the last moment it ends up hitting the Zombie3 in the chest. While the stone barely does anything, you realize that these zombies are easy to hit as they are so clumsy and slow. These particular zombies anyways.... (1 damage.)

Renny, this time, your fire bolt connects, and smashes into the Zombie3's body. "Aaarrrgggghhhhhhggrraarrgghghhhh uurrrgghhhhhhh" the small yet intense explosion lights up the room even more as the zombie struggles to stay up from the impact. (8 damage)

Shae is up!

Shae launches into another attack routine, trying to finish off the zombie in front of her. Seeing the magic strike the one approaching her, she focuses fully on her original target, trusting her allies to keep her back safe.

(Not worrying about 3, looks like you guys have it good. Gonna try to finish off 2.)

She tries another staff strike aimed at it's face, and then executes a standing backflip, aiming to kick it in the chin (Guile from Street Fighter style!)

Staff: 13

Damage: 5

Kick: 22

Damage: 6

Shae, your staff just misses the Zombie2's head as you recoil it and then engage in the backflip kick (Guile-Style) which connects directly with your instep on the chin... you almost kick the head right off the zombie, but it stays on somehow. "aaarrrgghhhaarrrrggggglllrrgghhhhh" (6 damage)

Next Round - Zombies, then Party

Zombie2, almost getting its head kicked off, tries wildly to flail its arms at Shae, trying to claw her Attack: 12 Damage: 5 and the zombie misses clumsily, its head barely hanging on to its body.

Zombie3 tries to thump Flynt away with its arms Attack: 12 Damage: 5 and also clumsily misses "aaarrgggghhhhhhhhhhh" this zombie clearly frustrated and more alive than the other one with its head almost off. 

Renny, Shae, Flynt and Ignatia are up!

(exact same attack rolls from those zombies!)

Ignatia swore a pinged another stone at the zombie. ( 3)

" Apparently I do much better with automatons."

Attack: 5 Damage: 2

Flynt is going to hack at Zombie 3

Attack: 11 Damage: 6

Shae  grits her teeth in grim determination and attacks the zombie yet again, frustrated that it hasn’t been destroyed yet. Her frustration takes hold of her, and after beating the zombie with her staff, she decks it in the face

Damage:5

Attack, Face Punch:10

Damage:4

Ignatia, this time your stone goes wide and clatters off the wall harmlessly onto the floor.

Flynt, you raise your trusty longswond up once again and bring it down upon Zombie3, cutting it diagonally down the torso, very similarly to the other Zombie you dispatched. You are cutting through these walking corpses like butter. Is Flynt saying anything as he is butchering these zombies?

Shae, the first staff strike hits the Zombie2 (8 damage) 15 ..... and it shatters the Zombie's skull *CRACK* as it caves into its own face and the Zombie falls to the ground dead. You then turn your focus to the remaining corpse, and just haul off and throw a HUGE right hand which connects directly with the Zombie3's jaw (6 damage)..... 7... it looks like it was KO'd forever, but at the last second before it was going to fall over, it turns its head back at you and groggily stands there... not quite dead yet but oh so close. It's seeing 'tweety' birds from that right hand. Good lord Shae you cracked that zombie good. 

Renny is up!

Renny watches the other pummel zombies and when the one Shae should have taken out seems to hang on, she throws another fire bolt at it.

Attack: 20 Damage: 6

Renny, you launch another fire bolt towards the remaining undead, and it smashes into the corpse (6 damage)..... 4 with rotting flesh ripping off the body as the fire also burns the dead skin.... it looks like the zombie will just burn away, yet it somehow is able to remain standing and shakes off the fire.

The zombie in desperation mode tries to swing its arms again at Flynt Attack: 9 Damage: 3 and Flynt easily blocks the arm with his shield. 

Everyone is up!

Flynt is going to attack the zombie once more.

Attack: 19 Damage: 6

Renny frowns, "Why don't they just drop?"

She throws another fire bolt at it. Attack: 8 Damage: 2

Flynt, like clockwork, you raise up your sword and slash it downwards onto the last Zombie... (10 damage).....  21 and again its upper body is detached from its lower body, and the pieces fall to the ground. The zombie is dead. 

Renny, you still shoot your firebolt just for good measure. It explodes and burns up the body parts as they smolder away. 

Combat is over! You have noticed the staircase going up on the south east corner of the room, and there's also the rooms in these quarters that you may want to inspect. You all also hear the haunting moans and groans much louder now that the fight is over... coming from the south east. 

HP I have: Flynt = 6    Shae = 6     Ignatia = 13    Renny = 16

Ignatia looked Flynt and Shae over, " You two looked exhausted, we're going to need to rest up."

" Lets grab the cots and wedge them into the stairwells, and try and get some rest. Me and Renny can sit a watch each and let you two rest up."

Flynt smiles and nods." They would be wonderful, thank you." He goes to grab the costs and wedge them in the stairwell.
