(guys sorry, I should've numbered the ghouls. I initially assumed Shae went south and Ignatia also shot south. I will now apply that damage to the EAST ghoul and apply the damage from Flynt and Renny to the SOUTH ghoul.)
Flynt, the diagonally downward slicing motion of your longsword seems to be second nature after the previous zombie massacre. You do the same thing to the SOUTH ghoul, landing the sword diagonally down on its clavicle, almost cutting it in half and then searing it with your divine radiant smite damage. (18 damage total)
Renny, you follow up on the same ghoul and land the fire bolt, creating a familiar smashing of flame and sparks into the walking corpse ghoul. This ghoul now looks worse than the one that Shae and Ignatia are working on. (3 damage)
Both ghouls are barely standing. SOUTH ghoul is worse off than EAST ghoul.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Shae, you completely obliterate the EAST ghoul. The staff cracks into the ghouls body and then the thrust kick actually goes through the ghoul. You stumble a bit getting your leg our of the corpse as it falls dead to the ground. (14 damage) EAST ghoul is dead.
The SOUTH ghoul, barely able to stand, tries to claw at Flynt who is directly in front of it Attack: 21 Damage: 5 and the dragonborn is able to block the wild claws coming at him with his shield like a boss.
Ignatia, your stone then flies past Flynt (assume you attack the other one now) and hits the already wobbling ghoul in the forehead, and that drops the corpse as if it was shot in the head with a gun. (4 damage, dead.) You also get your 5 temp HP for killing that ghoul!
Both monstrosities are dead.
You still hear the ghoulish chanting coming from the staircase back from before, and there's a few different ways to go in this current hallway. What would you like to do, and who will be going first?
Carefully Ignatia moved past Flynt and the now dead-again thing, inspecting it for any signs of who it was in life and looking ahead with her dark vision to see what lay beyond.
Ignatia inspects the ghoul, and you can determine that these ghouls were cult members. Not the leaders (the homeowners) by any means... but cultists nonetheless. You then move forward with Shae following closely in the shadows, and Flynt pacing back a few steps with Renny. I assume either Ignatia's lantern or Renny's dagger is lit up so Flynt can see.
(I am going to stop highlighting/bolding the PC names, it's too time consuming hahaha! Only maybe for important stuff. Let me know if you disagree)
The passageway opens up into a small den, where you can see a large chandelier suspended in the middle of the room. Two high backed chairs flank the table, which has an empty clay jug atop it. There are 2 iron candle holders in each corner of the room, both with candles which have long been burned out. There is a door as well on the south-east corner of the room.
When you look into the adjacent room, you can tell that it's a master chamber/quarters of some kind. There is a large wood-framed bed with a rotted mattress, a wardrobe containing several old robes, two iron candlesticks as well as a wooden footlocker.
Renny spots the candle holders and lifts a hand but hesitates to just light them.. so instead she goes closer to one to see how much candle is left and if it looks dangerous at all.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
"No boom today. Boom tomorrow. There's always a boom tomorrow" "No power in the 'verse can stop me"
Shae, you move forward to the room with the footlocker and can determine that it is neither locked nor trapped.
Ignatia, you follow Shae into the far room and you can easily determine that this is in fact the cultists master chambers. It must be the owners of the house (Gustav and Elizabeth).... so they have a master bedroom in the house, as well as a master quarters down here in the cultist dungeons...
You help Shae with the footlocker, and you also clearly see that it is not locked. It is also not MECHANICALLY trapped in any way that you can see... but still... you get a funny feeling about the footlocker and this room in general the longer you stay in it.
Renny looks between the two options and considers a better shot, hurling a fire bolt down the hallway at the one Flynt is attacking already.
Attack: 18 Damage: Unable to parse dice roll.

No I didn't thank you I'll add that up there.

Round 2 = SHAE is up!

OOC:
Search and uncover those last squares on the map.
Shae follows, creeping ahead and sticking to the shadows.
Flynt will stay a few paces back while following the others.

Renny, the candlesticks themselves have long been burned away. The candlestick holders themselves do not look dangerous... just very old.
Shae moves forward to investigate the footlocker, both to see if it’s locked and if it’s trapped.
Ignatia carefully followed the others into the new room, scanning the area, and the footlocker in particular.

" Ladies and Gents....I don't like it here...how about we leave....NOW."
"I like that idea," Flynt says.

Renny nods, "I'm ok with that."

Shae backs up from the box.
“I agree. Let’s deal with the chanting.”
