Renny, the 3 guided magic missiles smash into the door, safely not hitting Flynt, but really smashing into the top part of the door quite hard, creating a small but bright explosion which Flynt likely had to close his eyes for. (door takes 12 damage).
The door still looks pretty sturdy though, and still has a grip on Flynt.

Shae - you use your staff as a spear and try and ram it through the door-beast, and then follow up with a jumping spinning back kick...

the staff spears into the door with mean intent, and the jumping spinning back kick just nails the door, both connecting. The door still has Flynt trapped, but it's looking a bit less sturdy now. (15 damage - Shae let me know if I did that correctly)

The door continues to try and basically eat Flynt up. It goes for the bite again... (advantage) Attack: 19 Damage: 7 and the acid if need be: 2
Flynt gets lucky and the door creature's mouth starts to choke on Flynt's arm, making it miss the bite.
Shae and Flynt (rd2) are up! Flynt you are still Grappled but can still make a melee attack at the door.
Renny and Ignatia can also make their Rd3 moves, which I will process after.
Flynt, you are able to smash your sword down onto the door and you get solid leverage on the swing even though you are grappled, and it chips a big piece of door off. You feel the door's mouth start to loosen a bit now... although you're still grappled.
(10 damage. I think you used a smite earlier, plus a cure wounds on Ignatia after she fell - I am not sure you have the spell slots available to add that smite damage. Please let me know if I am mistaken!)
Renny, you continue your barrage of fire bolts, this one also hits and you can tell the door is really starting to weaken now. It's actually starting to somewhat vanish. (5 damage)

her staff makes a huge crack in the middle of the door. It lets Flynt go, and then Shae just finishes the door off with that kick. The door kind of smashes and explodes into wood chips and then just vanishes. The door is dead. Where the door was before, there is just a wall. So the only way to get to the last section of this floor is to go back a bit. Or you could head down to the second level of the dungeon.
Flynt, You can spend hit dice and take a short rest or risk an encounter and take a long rest with the party, let me know what you guys want to do and any preparations or precautions you might want to make depending on the length of rest you have in mind.
