"Of course! And I'll do you one better. Pass them my name, and they'll trot out their special stock - a bit pricy, mind you, but head and shoulders better than you're normal stock. An besides, you can afford it."
Barak gives you some rather confusing directions of the tunnels, leading to a sort of makeshift trading post/waystop for subterranean travel (largely illicit). Make an intelligence check (DC 8) to get all of the turns clear. The DC would be 10, but Barak kindly scrawls out a rough map of the area's tunnels on a stained hankie, showing three access tunnels to the Arena (you came down one of them) and four marked exits to other underground levels of the city.
”Thanks Barak, I greatly appreciate the help.” Sereena says with a warm smile and asks the rest of the party if anyone would like to join her. “If we are truly about to depart on this venture I think it would be wise to be as prepared as possible.”
"Yes, thank you Barak. As much as I enjoyed that fight I don't think I would have enjoyed all the guards that came in afterwards. And if we can help to strike back in a more secretive way then all the better."
Anansi spends most of the rest of the day in the room, seemingly meditating, but every now and then concentrating and causing a small bit of energy to flash in one of his hands. After doing this for most of the day his eyes suddenly open and he exclaims, "Got it!" In his hand is a small but dangerous looking blade, made of the energy that was flashing before. He smiles and then snaps the fingers on his empty hand, causing a blade to appear there as well. "Yes, this should do nicely." Both blades flash out of existence and he heads off to find the group.

Salazar will trail behind Sereena to the trading post, practicing slinking from shadow to shadow trying not to be noticed practicing his ambush techniques.

Passing checks with flying colors, the party moves out, albeit in a somewhat disjointed fashion. Sereena in the fore, confidently pushing through dimly-lit corridors, followed by Gadus and Anansi, all with a slithering shadow in pursuit. Arriving at the subterranean trading post without difficulty, you find it to be a tall, seemingly ramshackle (though architecturally sturdy) structure of several slightly lopsided floors, hugging the right wall of tunnel as it opens up into an abyssal cavern, with rope bridges extending into the darkness in a dozen directions. A rough-looking sign reads in three neat rows symbols (runic dwarf, gnome glyphs, and common script) Ib-Drip's Trip-Stop: Savings, Sundries, and other Conveniences. Small wispy lights give the place a pleasant ambiance, though in the shrouded distance, across the rope bridges, odd reflections and echoes chase each other across unknown regions.
As the three more openly traveling companions approach, they notice a dwarf standing on a box about twenty feet away from the door to the Trip-Stop. Head shaven, he wears a ruddy-brown robe and a sign hanging by a rope around his neck. As he turns towards you, you see the sign is covered in runes.

Sereena looks confused as she watches the funny dwarf.
“No, I do not. He does seem curious enough to find out though.”
Going over to the dwarf, Sereena asks, “Excuse me, but your sign has caught our attention, but I do not understand it. Could you translate it for me please?”
His eyes sort of bulge out at you and he makes a choking sound. His face now almost matches the color of his robes. He starts shouting incoherently, making vaguely threatening gestures and, you guess, running a severe risk of fainting should he keep up his current rate of verbage.
Anansi looks at him and then decides to try out another new talent to keep the man from choking. Telepathically he says, "Is everything alright friend. You seem to be having some trouble speaking so I thought this might be easier. We're not from around here and are curious about what your sign says. Could you tell me?"

His thoughts seem at first to be a jumble of half-remembered phrases, repeated ad nauseum. For a moment, you fear you might have just tried to mind-speak with insanity. Then it clicks - a fanatic. His thoughts take on meaningful form, albeit in strange, unclear ways. He pauses for a moment, swallows heavily, and blinks, confused. In a thick accent that you deem must be associated with some variated blend of undercommon and common, he says,
"I'm... uh... I'm here to share the word! The word with all dwarves OF TRUE FAITH and perhaps some others - he didn't say. These are good words given to me TO ME by my lord - he who is incorruptible. I... he... my sign calls...it is a symbol to the lost. Have you heard of the meeting GATHERING OF THE BLESSED tonight in passage 12-3? My lord will be there, will speak to us THE FAITHFUL and bless us with his wisdom POWER POWER POWER PO- !"
His words take on a different meaning in his mind, which you is for the moment open to you, adding nuance and phrases that are seemingly edited from his long-rehearsed speech. (Thus the all caps portions)
Within Ib-Drips, you stoop as you enter to find a low-ceilinged, almost claustrophobic inn with an adjoined shop. A few gnomes and some rather short, brawny dwarves in the same red cloaks sit at at the bar, drinking a greenish ale and muttering amongst themselves. Two very drunk gnomes bump into you as stand (as much as you are able) and ricochet towards the door, one of them making it and the other confusedly apologizing to the frame. Another gnome, this one especially young looking and chipper, in a well-tailored jacket and pants of different shades of aqua-marine, zips in front of you and stands impatiently, foot tapping an aggressive 220 beats/min.
Anansi looks back at the dwarf with a confused look as they pass by. His attention is then taken by the hummingbird gnome. He whispers quietly to Salazar, "there is something seriously odd about the folks in this country."

Sereena watches the short ones closely and with curiosity. With her coin purse in hand she walks up to Zip and she says, “Barak has sent us to this marvelous place in search of equipment for an upcoming task that has been given to us involving some drow. He said you would be more than able to help equip us.”
Persuasion 8
Sereena continues to look around the shop waiting for the tiny gnome to respond.
Salazar: A brief glance tells you that his coin purse seems to be in order, though a more thorough check will require a sleight of hand check (would be at advantage because very drunk, but they are a good deal shorter than you and are moving out, whereas you are presumably heading in.)
Zip responds with what you assume is characteristic enthusiasm.
"OhyesyesyesBarak'sboys-orgirlsIsupposesincehedidn'tmentionanythingOhwellEquipmentWehavethatRightthiswaaaaay!" With a flourish and a patter of light steps, he flutters through another low door into a well-lit adjoining chamber, featuring half a dozen tight rows of shelves piled with various and sundry bits of gear. After a beat, he sticks his head back through the door.
Salazar contemplates lifting the purse but decides that it would be prudent to hold back for now, being taller than most his group sticks out enough without him pilfering the inebriated. He sighs quietly to himself and follows the others for a free meal
Sereena enters the room and eyes the shelves as she follows Zip. (OOC does she see anything interesting? Investigation 1)
Zip I am looking for a few items specifically, but I also was hoping you had something extra special for us? Do you have anything that will give an edge over the drow? Besides that, I am looking for healing potions, healing kits, rations, and a bedroll. What can you do to help us out?”
