Potato 10 lol yours is funnier. Hordkhen 13
Potato waits until Place' gets close to one then cuts it down in a ride-by slashing.
Hordkhen rushes to one across the stream and misses with his longsword.
Delirious kills one outright with an arrow center mass.
Lyria was headed to where she could get 2 in a radiant blast. CON Saves: 6 / 13 One takes nearly fatal damage, the other is unaffected.
Place' mauls one of them to death, simple shreds it.
Kod runs next to Lyria and cuts down the one that was unscathed.
After the initial attack, the kobolds attempt to flee. They try to get Northwest across the stream, using disengage when necessary or dashing if they are not next to you.
Standing on the bank, missing the Kobold, Tar tries a second to make sense of what he heard, and listen a moment, for Draconic Speech: Perception 20 and mindlessly grumbles about the situation, stobbing the blade in the sand, and pulling the crossbow from his sling, loading a bolt, and firing at the fleeing kobold.
one of the fleeing kobolds yells, "They're here, it worked, run!" as they're dashing away.
Hordkhen levels his crossbow and fires a bolt through one of the fleeing kobold's ribcages, which just happens to be the one that Delirious aimed an arrow at. The crossfire drops that one. (I guess you both get an ear since Horkhen loosened it for you?)
Lyria starts at the fleeing kobold with her mace ready, but it falls dead in a double attack from her allies. (If you'd like to do something else go ahead. I just realized I never put IC that dousing a fire would take one action. Remember to roll investigation each time you put out a fire.) She instead puts out the closest fire.
Potato dismounts, runs up and snuffs the flame at the South entrance to the building.
Place' paws it full speed to block one of the kobold's escape. He snarls menacingly at the little guy.
Kod runs after the one that fled from near him, and when it falls he scans ahead to see if he can reach another one. He can, but it's a longshot. He hurls a javelin anyway, noting the speed and distance of the small dragonkin. The javelin comes down through its head, skewering him to the ground upright as his limbs dangle. (Funny thing, you were at disadvantage due to range, but you rolled 2 attacks, so even using the lower number you still hit with enough damage to kill it.)
The remaining fleeing kobolds continue dashing away and are now out of sight around the bushes to the Northwest with the exception of the one that Place'-wolf blocked. He stabs at the wolf then cautiously moves around to the North side of him. Attack: 13 Damage: 4 He manages to poke the wolf.
The fire around some barrels outside the mill jumps to some more wooden equipment next to it.
Tar Hordkhen pulls his blade from the mud and wades to the north corner of the mill on his way to put out flames, with lips curled to a snarl, pausing to cut one ear off the felled enemy- "Its a trap." he barks matter-of-fact, and looks over his shoulder to Kod, "Get your axe."
Delirious calls dibs on the ear Hordkhen just cut off and readies an attack action in case anything else shows its face.
Lyria does indeed put out another fire and notes that it was set too far from the building to damage it if they were trying to set fire to it.
Potato runs to the next fire Northwest and snuffs it out. He notes that it was set too far from the building to damage it if they were trying to set fire to it.
Place' picks up the kobold with his wolf-mouth and tears it up like a ragdoll.
Kod readies his axe at Tar Hordkhen's command and stands wary of possible assault.
Nothing happens but you hear the distant sound of cackling kobolds, chanting cultists, roaring flames, and the sound of the stream splashing about the waterwheel outside the mill. The smell of smoke chokes your nostrils. Nothing happens. You wait for an inevitable ambush... but there's nothing.
What now?
