The arcane arachnid, scuttling through the changing rooms of the theater, finds much of the cast is still backstage, gossiping, bickering, and making plans involving copious libation.
Gregor tells his familiar to hold position and alert him when the room is empty. After advising his companions of what he has done, he will leave the theater proper and try to find a nearby cafe or restaurant while the building empties out. If there's nothing in a 100 foot range, he will try to find an inconspicuous location in range and read his spellbook.
Ian will hang back with the cast in the meantime. He will refrain from drinking to excess to avoid impairment. If the party (of actors) does not vacate the theater he will do his best to convince the others to take the party to a more festive location such as a pub to help clear out the theater.
After an hour or so, the cast and crew have largely dispersed to their various homes or places of nocturnal entertainment, leaving the theater in the possession of a handful of custodial staff, tasked with cleaning up the considerable detritus of the evening.
Gregor will see through his familiar's eyes, and check to see who, if anyone is still there. If anyone looks like they are leaving, he will pay special attention to them for the purposes of replicating their appearance.
Currently, the only persons remaining in the theater are an elderly gnome janitor and a pair of young half-elf twins in his employ - along with Ian, should he have chosen to remain.
The owner's pet Faerie Dragon, Wishes, is also fluttering about the place, though it seems to pop in and out of visibility and its location cannot be easily discerned, especially not from the vantage of a tiny spider.
Gregor was able to take note of the details of the appearance of much of the troupe, and could confidently imitate the features of the leading man, a couple of the stage managers, a few of the bit players, and the owner herself, Iokaste Daliano.
In the silence of the theater, a single voice sounds.
"Krrr! Too much waiting, nothing happening!" He hisses to Irma. "Akai will go to find actor, see if he learned treasure's place!" With that, the kobold sets off looking for a way to get backstage.
"I beg your pardon sirs," the gnome janitor quavers, brandishing his broom at the kobold and the paladin "but the theater is closed. You should, em, hermm, please take your leave."
His two young assistants goggle in the background.

"Krrr! Fine performance in fine building! Akai is most pleased!" the short sorcerer trills. "Akai wishes to offer praise to actors in person! Where is room for Akai to meet them? You will earn gratitude for showing the way!" Akai pats one of his coin pouches conspicuously.
Persuasion check (with advantage from Irma's assistance): 27
The janitor bows and scrapes nervously, his hands twisting on the broom handle,
"So kind and gracious of you to say my, er, lord? But, em, the players have all gone home, sir, or out drinking and carousing, more like. It's just me and these two rascals, to clean up the place and see to things. But, eh, uh..." his eyes linger on Akai's purse, "I could certainly show you around the, ehehe, the back rooms, if you would like? Folks do seem to get a kick out of seeing where the, uh, the magic happens, yes?"
"Falshen, it looks like things have quieted down. I'm heading in,"
Gregor checks to ensure no one is observing them, then once the coast is clear he weaves a Disguise Self to appear as one of the bit players he saw leave. He will then proceed back inside.

Falshen will wait for approximately 30 seconds before attempting to stealthily follow at a discrete distance and take the role of sneaky backup, should any be needed.

Akai grins and fishes out a silver coin. "You have agreeable manner! Akai likes this!" He tosses the coin to the janitor as he continues. "Akai has his own interest in magic! Lead on!"

Irma will stay in the audience as a backup for Ian and to act if something arises.
Akai will remain with Irma.
Falshen will accompany Gregor in case anything should go awry outside the theater.

Ian will cast invisibility on himself once he is alone and move quietly to the wardrobe and wait for the others.
Please make a Stealth check, with Advantage.
