"Missy, you finish off that Butter beater and we'll take this...mage?!"he says with conviction. The power of the White Stag builds within him, finally releasing as a bolt of white light streaking towards the new enemy.
Qivys fires a flash of arcane light at the robed, skeletal corpse. The beam sears a neat hole in the figure's midsection; it shudders, but continues to drift slowly toward you. "The formulae..." it mutters to itself, "the fools never knew..."

Peri:
"Blasted dwarves! Never know when it's time t'go!" He rushes back into the room, vaults off Butter's unconscious body, and snaps off two quick punches at the last skeletal warior.
Unarmed Strike #1: 11 for 6 damage; Strike #2 19 for 6 damage.
(He'll end in the corner if the skeleton is down; otherwise the square to the north of it)
Peri dashes in, launches off Butter's voluminous belly, and slams the final skeleton with a shattering one-two punch. It collapses into a heap of lifeless bones. The victorious halfling hops off to the north.
Three glowing darts blast out of Dwal's hands, searing substantial holes in the figure's embroidered robe, exposing ribs and dried tissue within. It staggers slightly, but continues to slowly move toward you, undeterred
"Damage and danger, danger and damage," it rasps, as if to itself. "They will not have my secrets."
Missy's not exactly happy with Butter, but she doesn't particularly want his death on her conscious. Crouching, she gives him one portion of the potion of healing and tells him she's got better things to do than help him out so he better not go down again.
"So you're the alchemist. In your studies, did you find a way to reverse certain doom?! You may need it."He bellows as he causes a chilling frost to envelope the skeletons undead body.
Butter lurches up and coughs, as his grave wound to his chest visibly heals over from the potion's rapid effects. "What? Where am I?" he asks Missy.
Qivys' arcane frost begins to cover the undead alchemist -5 - as the figure opens its fleshless jaw and laughs.
"No gold, no secrets. Must work, must work," it creaks.
With a sudden lurch, it fishes out another pair of small vials from its pockets and lobs both at Dwal. Attack: 21. Acid damage: 7 Attack: 15. Acid damage: 8
The first attack hits - searing Dwal's arm with caustic fluid. He bats away the second. It laughs again, retreats into its room to the east, and shuts its door.
"Oh no, he got away! Well, nothin' t'be done about it now, I suppose. We should probably get back to town and report all the strange doin's we've uncovered. I'm sure Farbern will be worried about his missing guards here." He begins gathering up the golden ribs of the destroyed skeletons. "We certainly put the fear of the dwarves into 'im today, lads. Just wait 'til we come back -- then he'll really be in trouble. Ah well, let's be off then, shall we?"
Peri begins snapping off and pocketing the gold-dipped rib from each fallen skeleton. They're worth at least a few gold pieces each. Every skeleton has exactly one.
(I will continue initiative order until you tell me otherwise. Dwal may rewrite his action to include opening that door, if he likes.)
(After Dwal clarifies his turn, Qivys and Missy are up.)

Qivys
"Ahh, nothing beats belting the undead back to death. Abominations. We need to finish off that mad alchemist though."He walks to the door. "Dwal, you're hurt. Let me take some of the sting out of it" His eyes close as his hands start to trace a pattern in the air.
"We're still in the haunted house."She replies to Butter before glancing at Peri with a raised eyebrow. "You're not the slightest bit curious about what's behind the door? Besides, as part of the town guard, it's our duty to protect the people. And I'd say getting rid of violent skeleton creatures is part of that." She moves further into the room until she's against the wall opposite the door and readies a fire bolt for if she sees the creature.

Qivys and Missy may act next.

Qivys
"Missy, you finish off that Butter beater and we'll take this...mage?!" he says with conviction. The power of the White Stag builds within him, finally releasing as a bolt of white light streaking towards the new enemy.
Guiding Bolt To hit 16 Damage 7
He then closes the gap between himself and the skeleton preventing it from comer closer to the rest of the party.
Qivys fires a flash of arcane light at the robed, skeletal corpse. The beam sears a neat hole in the figure's midsection; it shudders, but continues to drift slowly toward you. "The formulae..." it mutters to itself, "the fools never knew..."
Missy is up next!
The skeletal being reaches into its tattered robes and pulls out two small vials.
"The interlopers must LEAVE my house. Now," it creaks.
It lobs one vial each at Qivys and Dwal.
Ranged attack on Qivys: 19 Acid damage: 5
Ranged attack on Dwal: 4 Acid damage: 7
Both dwarves manage to block the flying vials with their sturdy shields, although the acid takes the nice finish off Dwal's.
Missy and Peri may move.

Peri dashes in, launches off Butter's voluminous belly, and slams the final skeleton with a shattering one-two punch. It collapses into a heap of lifeless bones. The victorious halfling hops off to the north.
Missy and Dwal may go next.
Dwal
Dwal will use his last spell slot and launch Magic Missile at the new threat.
1st missile damage: 4
2nd missile damage: 5
3rd missile damage: 5
Three glowing darts blast out of Dwal's hands, searing substantial holes in the figure's embroidered robe, exposing ribs and dried tissue within. It staggers slightly, but continues to slowly move toward you, undeterred
"Damage and danger, danger and damage," it rasps, as if to itself. "They will not have my secrets."
Missy and Qivys are next.
(is butter dead or unconscious?)
(Butter may well still be alive, but he will need medical attention soon or he will certainly die.)
Missy
Missy's not exactly happy with Butter, but she doesn't particularly want his death on her conscious. Crouching, she gives him one portion of the potion of healing and tells him she's got better things to do than help him out so he better not go down again.
Healing: 6
Qivys
"So you're the alchemist. In your studies, did you find a way to reverse certain doom?! You may need it." He bellows as he causes a chilling frost to envelope the skeletons undead body.
((Dmg: 4 | Save: Con 12))
Butter lurches up and coughs, as his grave wound to his chest visibly heals over from the potion's rapid effects. "What? Where am I?" he asks Missy.

Attack: 15. Acid damage: 8
The first attack hits - searing Dwal's arm with caustic fluid. He bats away the second.
It laughs again, retreats into its room to the east, and shuts its door.
Peri and Dwal may act.
Dwal
Dwal closes to melee range and attacks the skeleton;
Hit: 15
Damage: 1 (forgot the +1 for Blessing of the forge so 4 for damage)
(The skeletal alchemist has retreated and closed the door. Dwal will need to open the door into the next room to the east.)
You hear crazed muttering and breaking glass through the door.
Peri:
"Oh no, he got away! Well, nothin' t'be done about it now, I suppose. We should probably get back to town and report all the strange doin's we've uncovered. I'm sure Farbern will be worried about his missing guards here." He begins gathering up the golden ribs of the destroyed skeletons. "We certainly put the fear of the dwarves into 'im today, lads. (After Dwal clarifies his turn, Qivys and Missy are up.)
Dwal
Dwal will just move to the door, not opening it just yet.
Qivys
"Ahh, nothing beats belting the undead back to death. Abominations. We need to finish off that mad alchemist though." He walks to the door. "Dwal, you're hurt. Let me take some of the sting out of it" His eyes close as his hands start to trace a pattern in the air.
Healing Light 3
