"Won't be any higher than you"he grumbles under his breath as he stands. "So what's the plan then? Raze the place and leave the spoils to....spoil? That's just a grand waste if effort." Regardless of his attitude towards the looting he falls inline with the others, even if it is at the very rear.
Dwal looks around then slowly heads forward: "Keep yer head on the spoils rather than the battle will always get ye nothing but a bolt in the back and yer possessions part of the spoils for the enemy." Dwal says.
Dwal will move to the new doorway and stand off to the left side of it. He will peek around the corner and look down the other side of the door. "Keep yerselves out of the "fatal funnel" as much as ye can 'fore we make our way down it."
The room was clearly a throne room, and perhaps a banquet hall. The doorways to the north and south are closed and clear of obstacles. The throne is unremarkable: a short bench of stone that might have been decorated at some point in the past. The graffiti is in a language you do not immediately recognize. (Dwal: Investigation: 16 )
Upon further reflection, Dwal recognizes the language, even if he cannot read it: Orc.
The door through which the invisible speakers appears to have passed is in a five foot open walkway behind the throne, atop the dias.
"In my experience the chamber's of the priest or such are usually found behind the dias. Those doors off the side would warrant investigation, but I think we follow our invisible friend first"he calls from the back of the line. "Behind the throne the party stepped. One by one through the door they crept. Invisible foes are what they sought. Some evil pr^€k is who they'll fight". His lackluster poem is oddly inspiring to Gerrard.
((He grants Gerrard a d6 Bardic Inspiration. Don't forget you can use it in combat too due to Kei's subclass))
”Alright, Let’s go then,” says Gerrard, moving carefully down the passageway behind the throne, one hand holding the glowing rapier and the other in his vest holding the small bag of powder.

(If the doorway leads to a room, Peri will follow Dwal and Gerrard but stay back near the door to guard their rear. If it's a corridor he will follow about 20 feet behind, also guarding the rear. Close enough to jump in but not bunched into a kill zone.)
"We may be in for some close quarter encounters Trill. Thank you little one, but I prefer to keep you safe."He waves his hand and dismisses the familiar for now. As he passes Peri he cocks his head "I trust you know what your doing watching our backs. And I hope my back is included in that list." Still not used to being part of a group his words come across harsher than intended. He falls in behind Gerrard and Dwal.

Gerrard opens the door, which leads into a small audience chamber. A large table made of a single stone slab dominates the room’s center, and old tapestries cling to the walls. A stone door in the far wall is carved with the dwarf’s visage that you’ve seen elsewhere.
A massive, gray-skinned dwarf in scale mail and shield stands in front of you. A good ten or twelve feet tall, he shouts and raises his huge pick in an attack upon Gerrard.

Peri:
The giant duergar bellows its challenge and Peri immediately abandons his rearguard position to join in the attack. He scurries around Gerrard and Kei, and seeing Dwal go right, he goes left to divide the giant's attention. He stabs at the duergar's calf as he passes (20 for 8 damage) then leaps at its thigh, using a kick to propel himself up onto the stone table (assuming it's adjacent to the giant duergar) (13 for 6 damage). "This guy's even uglier at eye level!"
((edit: Another halfling luck reroll: 23 to hit on that Unarmed Strike.))
((edit edit: Crit Fail to Critical Hit! That's an extra 4 damage))
"Biggest dwarf I've seen! You know what they say..." He whispers to the duergar "Uglier they are the harder they fall" casting Dissonant Whispers on the mutated dwarf.

He then moves back to allow clear line of sight for Oceanus to attack.

Gerrard:
Gerrard moves up quickly and stabs at the huge dark dwarf with his glowing rapier, following up with a puff of the drying dust from his off-hand attack. "I have no idea if this will work if he turns invisible, but at least I tried," thinks Gerrard.
(I am going to roll first and then decide where to add the combat inspiration from Kei)

The massive dwarf fills the corridor, leaving space for only two to engage him in melee combat.
Peri vaults from the rear to the front of the pack, stabbing the enemy deep in his leg, leaving a bloody wound as he vaults, in a soaring arc high in the air, to land atop the stone table.
Gerrard's blade is stopped by the dwarf's thick scale mail, but the massive humanoid finds himself coated with powder.
Dwal's arcane glowing darts flash from the doorway, and finish him. The enemy collapses, and his body shrinks and returns to its normally-proportioned, albeit powder-coated, dwarven size, still smoking from the magic missiles.
Kei pauses, as does Oceanus and Bjorn.
But combat isn't over.
A bald, female gray dwarf appears out of thin air next to Peri, swinging in rapid arcs a short sword. Attack #1: 7 Slashing damage: 4 Attack #2: 16 Slashing damage: 4
Both blades strike the nimble halfling.
She disengages, races to the other side of the room in front of the doors leading east, and crouches in a defensive stance.
Done with talking for now, especially with the sometimes invisible dwarves and their ultimatums, Gerrard moves east into the room and draws a throwing knife as he goes since he can't make it all the way to her this round. Flicking it at the elusive gray dwarf, he casts a look towards Master Fenwader, concerned about his friend's health given the swift attacks from their enemy.

OOC: That looks fun...Let's add the combat inspiration to that crit... Extra Damage: 5

Peri:
"Aagh! What the?!" He spins to face his unseen attacker but she's already out of range. He looks to assess his injuries: nothing serious, but his new sarong has a hole in it and there's no way he's going to get the blood stain out. Irritated, he fires an Eldritch Blast at her: 10 for 2 damage.
