Passing through the secret door into the cellar, you find things pretty much the way you left them - the bodies of the twins lay on the floor near the west wall; the body of the boy amongst a jumble of shattered bunks near the east end. Looted footlockers are scattered between, and a ham still hangs by the stove. The door to Sanbalet's room, however, is ajar.
Kas will follow the rest of the group, also avoiding the screaming step He has extinguished and stowed his lantern and has his new shortsword and dagger in his hands. On the step below the screaming step, where one would step if one was trying to sneak up behind a group of adventurers, he will leave some ball bearings. Then on the next step down, just for good measure (Ive got 1000 of these!). Then he'll follow the group into the bunkroom.
Red will approach the shelves and try to see if she can see how the passage opens (if these are the correct shelves) and if there is a way she can block it while they're focusing on Sanbalet's room. If she can't she'll try and push things around the shelves so no matter what way they open they'd hit them. Or fall down if they open inwards.
Entering the room Qiv searches the shelves (and any cupboards etc) for official looking paperwork. Anything that can be used as evidence of the operation here.
Kas leaves ball bearings on the steps and you all pass through the secret door into the cellar.
Omen peeks into Sanbalet's room. Unlike the barracks, this small room holds comfortable furnishings and appears to be well cared for. A comfortable-looking bed in the northwest corner has a wooden locker at its foot. A small wooden table stands against the east wall, with a padded leather chair beside it. On the table, a brass three-branch candlestick with three burning candles provides the room with bright light. The candles, though not fresh, are far from spent. Under the table is a small wooden box and an unlit bullseye lantern with a movable shutter over the lens. On a shelf above the table sit three books. In the northeast corner is a closed wooden wardrobe. Sitting in the padded leather chair facing you is a large and muscular red-skinned goblinoid with a drawn bow, aimed at Omen's forehead. "Gluntscht," he says grimly. (Anyone speak Goblin?) He holds his fire for the moment.
Meanwhile, Red and Qivys begin to approach the shelves. As they take a few steps toward the center of the room, an illusionary veil of some sort falls away. The cellar appears as it was, except that the twins are gone, the shelves in the corner have been moved aide, a new secret door has been revealed. Most importantly, a tall man with a shaved head and piercing green eyes stands before you, empty handed. He is flanked by a middle-aged bald man holding a crossbow on one side, and Stumpy on the other with her longbow. They are aimed at Red and Qivys, respectively.
"I would bid you welcome to Sanbalet's offices, but I see you've already made yourselves at home. You have killed three of my employees, I see. That will be very expensive."
Kas ducks back around the corner into the room with the dead body, out of sight. He shouts to Sanbalet, "It shouldn't be too expensive; they were pretty crap employees, after all. They got the drop on us twice and we're all still standing. Meanwhile, they're all dead except for Stumpy, and if I'd had my way this place would be a smoldering heap. So if you're mad at anyone it should be your former employees, not some hapless travelers who wandered in."
As he says this, he edges into the corner to the west of the fireplace and attempts to hide. Stealth14 He'll also be keeping an eye on the stairway.

With a touch, Claire casts Guidance upon Qivys, then steps back to the door to the wine cellar.
The hobgoblin, seeing Omen preparing a spell, stands, steps back, and fires his arrow at Omen, but not before Omen produces an arcane Shield. Attack: 13Damage 7 piercing. The arrow flies wide, missing Omen completely.
The bald guy steps back and fires his crossbow at Red. Attack: 18 Damage: 8+ 8 = 16 piercing. With a perfectly aimed shot, the goon fires a bolt directly into Red's left eye. (Critical hit!) She goes down hard.
Sanbalet smiles confidently and holds out his open hand, palm outward. Following a muttered word, a dazzling color spray of flashing, colored light springs from his palm. 28 Qivys and Claire are blinded by the resulting flare.
Meanwhile, Omen's fire bolt bounces off and blackens the hobgoblin's thick chain mail, but does no damage to the goblinoid.
Kas has half-cover and is successfully hiding from all but Stumpy, who's covering both Kas and Qivys with her longbow, and knows precisely where he is hiding.

Kasimir:
Kas hears the fighting erupt in the bunkroom and groans. I guess we're not talking this out. He drops his melee weapons and draws his shortbow. He takes a breath, then leans around the doorway and looses an arrow at Stumpy, hoping she's still hurt from Omen's earlier attack.
(OoC: Clarification for me too. I read that we are spread across 3 rooms. Omen in the small room where stumpy barricaded herself facing a Goblin. Red and Qiv in the large cellar where the first battle was with Stumpy, longbow guy and Sanbalet. Kas and Claire in the wine cellar where the stairs come down. Claire out of sight and Kas hiding near the door having a great old Wild West moment with Stumpy.
(Sorry for the confusion! The northern room is called the "Wine Cellar" and the southern room is called the "Cellar" or, informally, the "bunkroom". The little room that Stumpy first disappeared into is "Sanbalet's room". There are now two secret doors.)
(Sanbalet, Stumpy, and a bald guy are slightly west of the center of the bunkroom, nearer the new secret door. They had been concealed behind some sort of magical illusion when you entered. They are currently tangling with Red, Qivys, and Claire, who were in the middle of the bunkroom, headed toward the shelves in the SW corner. Claire had followed Qivys and Red.)
(A hobgoblin is in Sanbalet's room. Omen is standing in the doorway, battling the hobgoblin, but is potentially exposed to combat on both sides.)
(Kas is between the two cellars, playing peek-a-boo through the first secret door.)
(I don't know whether Omen is in Sanbalet's room with the gerblin or whether he's just looking through the doorway. Kas is definitely in the cellar, just popping into the doorway to shoot.)
(And Sanbalet would have to be within 15' of the door to the cellar to Color Spray Claire)
Omen
Omen will follow Qivys, dagger out. (He has stowed the long sword till he learns how to use it.)

Omen
(Omen speaks Goblin)
Omen smiles slightly at the Goblin then casts Fire Bolt:
Hit: 13
Damage : 8
When the goblin fires, if it hits, Omen will cast Shield as a reaction.
"Sanbalet will NOT be distracted by these insolent vermin,” booms Sanbalet.

Sanbalet: 18
Hobgoblin: 21
Stumpy: 13
Bald guy: 19

Claire: 22
Hobgoblin: 21
Bald guy: 19
Red: 18
Sanbalet: 18
Omen: 17
Kas: 16
Stumpy: 13
Qivys: 5

Red is up (death save!)
(Man, 16 on initiative and I'm still almost last? I hope the DM got all those high rolls out of the way!)

Red may roll a death save. Kas may also go now.

He'll then duck back into the cellar.
(Hopefully I drop her before she can fire!)

Correct?)
(I think Claire's just standing in the doorway to the wine cellar?)
