Gerrard:
"Okay, so here is how it is going to be. We are here to stop the feast and save the mortal children. We know you are an undead creature, like the ones who attacked us on the path. You can either submit to being locked away so you can't interfere, or we will have to subdue you so you can't come up behind us and attack us as we are dealing with the caretaker. Your call...Decide quickly," says Gerrard, trying to keep the focus on himself and purposefully not looking at Peri.

Gerrard Feldren - Human Noble in Ghosts of Saltmarsh
Kerric Brightblade - Elven Warrior in "Apocalypse"
Boko tries to help Gerrard by moving around between Edgar and the door he was going toward, and also removing the covering from the end of her spear so the daylight is unveiled.
"Oh!" gasps Edgar, flustered, grimacing and turning his small head away from Boko's bright light. "That is very unpleasant. This isn't my feast, after all. Would you like me to fetch Caretaker? I will go fetch Caretaker for you. She will clear all this up for you."
Of course he'd tell the evil little creep... As soon as the words "stop the feast" are out of Gerrard's mouth Peri draws the stake. When Edgar starts to edge away from the light Peri thrusts the stake forward like his shortsword. Attack #1: 25 for, uh, some damage? Attack #2:16 -- If the first attack misses he'll use the stake again; otherwise he'll just punch him in the head for 5 magical bludgeoning
Oh crap!Gerrard has once again openly stated their intention. Really have to educate that man on the art of deception. Fearing the 'Caretakers' imminent arrival Kei decides to maintain his cover and not show his head from the kitchen.
((The map shows Kei in the antechamber, but he would still be positioned in the kitchen, having not engaged the boys in the room. Yes, at least one would know he's there, but hoping the Caretaker comes from the left of screen))
Glaive in hand, Qivys' left hand moves up and touches his temple. Calling on the unusual powers he possesses. Qivys strikes out with his mind, twice. Mind Sliver (DC of 13-Int)
Peri jabs his wooden stake at the toddler, wounding the small boy in the chest, before whacking him in the head with his fist. (Both do minor damage.)
"Oh!" cries Edgar "Mr. Barnacle! Troubles!"
The doors of the class case spring open, and the dolls spring into action, as does Miss Primrose.
Roll initiative! Edgar: 7 Miss Primrose (and another porcelain doll in the case): 17 Mr. Barnacles (and other ragdolls in the case): 3 Lankus: 19
Peri, Kei, and Lankus are within melee of Edgar and Miss Primrose. The rest of you are at range in these tight quarters. However Mr. Barnacle and his little animated friends are behind you...

Qivys nudges Boko over slightly to get a view of Edgar's departing form, and unleashes a pair of potent bursts of psychic energy from his mind. Edgar DC13 INT Saves: 1, 6
Lankus, not quite prepared to shoot a crossbow at a toddler, instead backs away and positions himself between Boko and Qivys, and the group of charging dolls. (Action: Dodge.)
Gerrard and Kei are up next. (Gerrard is within melee range of Edgar and Miss Primrose, he is also nearing the end of his benefits from Protection from Evil and Good, assuming Boko still has that concentration up.)

Gerrard:
Reacting as combat suddenly breaks out, the young noble is somewhat relieved that direct action is being taken instead of the strange conversation that threatened to delay them as the mysterious clock ticked quickly. However, he is disappointed that his intimidation did not work well enough to get them to back off or let themselves be captured without a fight. Apparently he still has much to learn about negotiating with nameless terrors and/or strange kid-avers.
Lashing out at the creepy Miss Primrose, Gerrard hopes for the best.

Gerrard connects with the animated doll twice with his blades, cracking part of its porcelain form and shearing off an arm of its little dress. The doll, now on the floor, looks at Gerrard with black eyes and pulls out a needle from its hair.

Kei
Given that their presence was now known to at least the Caretaker, Kei decides to announce his arrival with a fanfare. Peering over Peri's head he spies the group of animated dolls in the corner. "And you all think I'm creepy? " With that he begins to wave his deck of cards in the air in intricate patterns culminating in a number of cards bursting into the air before returning to the deck. As the cards seemingly explode outward a sudden loud ringing noise, painfully intense, erupts in the corner.
Thunder Dmg 12 plus 5 bonus Spirital Focus dmg. CON 15 save for half.
