"Well, whatever was causing those magical effects through him was much more powerful than a normal man going fishing," says Gerrard. "I like your idea of taking them both back to Thornwell tower for the counselor, Master Qivys. We may not be able to save Kei, but if we can destroy whatever is inside him so it can't devour someone else, I will claim it as a small act of vengeance on his behalf. And this common fisherman has a dark secret--perhaps that Aboleth can cast spells through him."
"We may need to split up--some of us take the prisoners in a covered cart to the Thornwell tower, and some of us continue to investigate the shipment here headed to Mister Dory. We should re-group when we have all learned what we can and perhaps investigate that hot and wet warehouse to figure out what is going on there," he continues, "I'd still like to go to the wreck of the Tammarut and forestall the invasion, but it seems like there is too much going on right now for us to handle everything."

Qivys shakes his head. "It's their choice but I don't agree with splittin' up.' Quvis says. "We done lost Kei then tha halfling an' if this is some dark powerful creature, facing it might take more than just a couple folks." Qivys pauses then pats Gerrard on his arm. "I know ya want ta be everywhere at once but we're just 4 folks. Unless ya plan ta recruit more folks fer an army ta do yer biddin' just face 1 thing at a time lad." Qivys grabs False Kei by the feet and starts dragging him out, looking for a cart.
Shrugging, Gerrard says, "Fair enough. Figuring what is going on with these two is likely the more important of the two immediate tasks. We can deal with the delivery they were tasked with protecting later." He shoulders Hort and helps to look for the cart.

Thwack
Finally we do something. Thwack's attention is drawn by the groups movement. Happy that they're leaving the open alley he offers to scout for the covered cart. "We want cart? Me find cart. I be back" he scoots ahead of the group and out of the alley. He tries to recall any carts they passed on their way.
While there are no carts in this alley, they are not uncommon in this city. You remember seeing a sizable 4-wheeled covered cart or small wagon being pulled by a burly man from the direction of the High Quarter in the same group as False Kei and his buddy when they were first spotted, although the two soon split ways from the others. In any event, they would probably need to backtrack to the main road where the baboon fight took place to have the best chance of locating that sort of vehicle.
Carrying the two limp bodies, the party retraces their steps out toward the main street. It's fairly crowded with traffic - both on foot and mounted, and with both hand carts and horse-drawn wagons passing among them. There is indeed a large unattended cart not far away at the edge of the cobbled road, although it's more of an open dray. It'd take two people to haul it, and the unconscious bodies would be splayed out in the open for all to see, unless you can cover them with something.
Looking at the cart, Gerrard says, "Eh, that might draw more attention than us just carrying them unless..."
"Qivys, let's put the bodies in that cart," suggests Gerrard. Assuming he agrees, Gerrard pulls the Rasp hide out of his bag of holding and drapes it over the bodies. He then shoulders one of the leads to the cart and starts pulling.

As Gerrard loads the bodies and takes up a lead, Thwack hops onto the cart and sits at the front. He looks like a coachmen from some twisted reality. The irony of a kobold running a cart pulled by humans is completely lost on him.
He swings his legs like a child as the cart trundles along. After a while he jumps from the moving cart and takes up a position next to Gerrard. "Me would help but cart is so big. Me go check for trouble". With that he runs ahead of the group.
Qivys and Gerrard load the two unconscious bodies onto the low, wide, heavy wooden cart. Gerrard covers them completely with the huge feathered hide as Thwack hops on.
Everyone should make a Stealth or Deception check (it'll be a group check, but you each may choose which skill to use) in order to steal the dray.
”Stealing, is it” thinks Gerrard, quickly scribbling a note and wrapping a gold coin in it, then leaving it where the dray was parked. “Rental fee” it says, as Gerrard fully intends to return the cart once they are done with it.

"So, what do we do now?" he asks.

Qivys will heft False Kei over his shoulder and just start walking.
Thwack
Thwack traces his way back to the dock area he and Peri saw, hoping to spot a cart of some sort.
"I could change into a giant eagle and fly them to the tower, if slowly," Boko says. "Or we could carry them."
She moves along after, helping to carry the goon.
Gerrard:
With no cart easily in sight, Gerrard carries Hort and follows, hoping for a place to set the man down soon.
