Destrian rubs his arm "I don' really know I-if I can, lads. I'll go ask Bubble fast 'bout that!" he runs off behind the staff door and talks to Bubble. You all hear some crashing and then Destrian comes out and back to you with a small bruise on his head. "Sorry lads can't talk 'bout h-her." he rubs the raw spot on his head. "B-but you can go ask her yourself." he says this while shaking his head with his eyes pleading you not to go.
Glancing at Builder, Io gives Zachary a nudge and a knowing grin. "Well, I guess the fortress o'er there he's never seen a dwarf lass at closin' time!" Io pounds his fist on the table in mirth, unaware that he is the only one laughing. After a moment, he picks up his mug, lifting it towards the strange woman in a mock salute before whispering to the group: "Well? Shall we?"
Zachary grins, the sigils on his armour glowing purple for a few moments before winking out, he raises his beer to the others, "so who's the best talker? Not you lo, your just loud!" He says chuckling.
"Aye, Right ye be, me lad! An ole soldier like me flirts with his fists, but methinks this got you written all over it!" Io gives Zachary a wink and downs another swig of ale but not before glancing around the room, taking note of any odd or weird behaviour that an ex-army sergeant might note.
Urreek is laying back on his chair, amused by the exchange. He's been casting sideways glances at the woman, studying her clothes, her mannerisms. He turns to the waiter and grins, "You don't worry about us, Dez. Just go and fetch me some more berries, and bring out another round of ale - for four. Oh, and a glass for you too, put it on my tab. It'll make you forget that bump on your head."
He turns to the rest of the group, winking at Zachary. "The fish's all yours, mariner... show us how you reel it in. It shouldn't take long. After all, she'd have to be deaf not to have noticed us."

"Right on it sir." Destrian walks to the back and comes out with some berries and ale, 4 instead of 5. "Can't drink on the job, maybe after I'm off." he laughs a bit to himself and walks into the back.
"I can talk as good as most." Builder says, then seems to get it. "Oh, no, I agree, I would not be good at that sort of talking..." He glances towards the woman. "Please be to proceed with the talking and I will watch and learn."
Running his hands through his spiked mane, Zachary glances over to the woman, takes a last swig of ale, and Saunters over to her. When he reaches her he dips an awkward bow, before introducing himself. "Good evening m'lady what brings you to a tavern such as this? Perhaps you have a tale to tell if that is the case then we would be delighted to hear it, I am Zachary at your service."
The woman looks to you, tipping her hat up as you come over. "So, you're finally coming over? Good." She speaks with an accent that is light and southern. She brings her feet off the table and puts her hand on the table and rests her head in it. "Just so it happens to be, it's you boys. And as it happens, I do." She waves over the others in the group. "Nice to meet you Zachary. I'm Rena." She offers a hand.
At the woman's gesture, Iovanus looks to the other two with a grin. "Well, Bird? House? Shall we?" Io hops off his chair, downs the last of his ale, and makes his way over to Zachary and the woman, wondering just where his comedic genius came from in his clan line...
Coming upon Zachary and the woman, Io says, "Well met lass, name's Iovanus but you can call me Io." If the woman offers her hand to Io, he will clasp it forearm to forearm in the usual fashion common among warriors.
As Destrian walks away, Urreek brings a hand to one of his many pouches; with a swift gesture, he produces a thin metal straw. He then takes a sip of ale and picks up some more berries while he watches Zachary walk over, and he frowns when he hears the woman's answer.
After Io's call Urreek casts one last, regretful glance at the unfinished berries and raises from his chair, taking both his tankard with the straw and the last, untouched one. He stands no taller than a child, and, perhaps surprisingly, his talons make no clicking sounds as he strides through the tavern to follow the dwarf. There's clearly no need for the ale to get this Rena talking, but nonetheless he leaves the last tankard on the table in front of her. "This one's on me, miss, if it's strong enough for you", he chuckles. "I think you already know - but I'm Urreek, alas Mockingbird. May we sit with you?"

Zachary takes her hand, and nods. Waiting for the others to Introduce themselves
As you give her your hands, she shakes them with vicious intensity, almost raising you both into the air, despite her apparent little muscle. "Nice to meet ya, Io!"

"It ain't, but I'll take what I can get without payin'!" She takes out the straw, sets it aside you and then gulps down the drink in about 3 seconds. "Sure do, Nict to meet ya in person Urreek! Or do you prefer Mockingbird? I'll call ya what you want, don't matter to me. And sure thing." She gestures to the opposite side of the seat. "The bucket o' bolts can sit with me when he comes over. Once you're all comfy, lemme know. I'll start telling you all you want to know, then I'll take for a tad, then you can ask more questions." She leans back and kicks her feet up. "Shoot, I'm ready to answer any question yall have."
Builder gets up and moves over to join the others. "That was nothing more than really just saying hi." He informs the group. "I watched the way of talking, and I am afraid I did not learn anything from it." he nods to the woman. "I am called Builder. What is it you want from us?" To his companions. "I am not sure why you did not just ask that instead, it is far more logical to state what you want to know."
The vibrant and intense attitude of Rena brings a twinkle to Io's eye. As she downs the ale a smile widens under the dwarf's bushy mustache, "Aye! A lass after me own heart!"
The former sergeant downs the rest of his drink and sits down at the table with a burp. "Well lass, fer me since ye be knowin' us, I fer one'd like to know just what ye be wantin' and, by the Gods, why's everyone in this ale house actin' like they gotta bone naga up they arse?"
Iovanus waves to Destrian, signalling for another ale. Sharp-eyed and clear-headed, Io leans forward and puts his tree-trunk arms on the table, looking Rena over intently [can I loosely ascertain her fighting experience, since Io is a former soldier?] Io waits for his new - and more eloquent - friends to chime in while he waits for his ale :)

She points a finger gun at you. "Hia, Builder! C'mon, sit down." She pats the seat next to her. "That's a good question, as well. One that I can answer. You see, I've had a little birdie telling me your... Exploits. And, as it happens, I've been doin' the same thing as you. You've all been researchin', to some degrees, the ancient people known as the 'Wayfolk'. I've been doin' the same. I've come to give you a... sales pitch of sorts. But before that, Ask me any question you'd like. I've got answers." During her long period of talk she uses many hand gestures, at the end she lays her arms flat on the table, looking at you with curious but knowing eyes.
"Is there any remaining storehouse of knowledge and lore for these Wayfolk?" Builder asks as he eases his frame down onto a chair. "Any place, in particular, they lived or where their ruins can be found?"

She puts up a finger. "One, I bet I could down more than you, Two *holds up another finger*, I'm kind of a mood tenser, I'm really only around here after, well, shooting someone. or before. people get anxious about the latter."
[Since you're a vet, I'll just say you know] You know from seeing so many powerful people that she'd easily rank around a brigadier general, and that's starting off in the army, she might rank even higher after that.
"Is there any remaining storehouse of knowledge and lore for these Wayfolk?" Builder asks as he eases his frame down onto a chair. "Any place, in particular, they lived or where their ruins can be found?"
"I'll get to that last one after everyone's done with their questions, for the first; as far as I've seen, there has been a library."
Builder nods his head. "Also, why would a female cause such a reaction to your staff and patrons?" He asks, glancing towards the woman in question.
Destrian rubs his arm "I don' really know I-if I can, lads. I'll go ask Bubble fast 'bout that!" he runs off behind the staff door and talks to Bubble.
