He knew he would never get, but knowledge never stopped his coveting of magics and powers before... He remained shrunken in the corner of the cage, but his eyes kept a careful watch.
With the guards focused on the bugbear, Rohdin does not desire to draw attention to herself, instead, she remains quiet, watching for an opportunity to present itself. If one of the guards comes close enough she can attempt to grab him she will do so, otherwise remaining silent as she waits for the exchange between the guards and the bugbear to continue. Her interest somewhat peaked by the mentioned of the bag, if just for the reason that they desire it.
Jardor steps forward. "Hello. We have come in search of our friend. If you know where he is take us to him and we will leave here friends of yours. If you try to fight us or keep us from him, we will not be friends...and you will not be alive."
He brings his large sword infront of him, the blade is easily twice the length of any of the guards' heights. His muscles flex in a show of force, it seems like he is able to hold the heavy blade aloft as if it were a feather. "Choose wisely."

Nasaar frowns at the minotaur flexes his muscles, though it comes off as if he needs to go to the bathroom rather than a show of force. Deciding not to waste time here, Nasaar lifts his heavy crossbow and takes a shot at one of the creatures inside the room.
Serit eyes the gaudily adorned humanoid, his eyes quite serious, "You would do well to worry less about what is in that bag and more about what is going to happen to you and your kin. When we are free we will be showing you no mercy. Your death screams will haunt this cave for many years to come.
"Yes, we are caged for now but do not expect that to last. This is going to be quite bad for you."
The guards completely ignore Jardor's threats as they scramble to get up. Gara's persuasion attempt does not seem to do any better, though it not necessarily be Gara's fault. You note the guards talking to each other, but you have not heard this language before.
Meanwhile Nasaar puts a clear stop to negotiations by naling one of the guards to the wall.
Surprise round is over, roll initiative.
Serit's Group
The important looking humanoid isn't looking important anymore. He squeals and hides behind his guards who themselves have weapons out . From there he he regains his confidence a little and shouts to you
"You think you scary? I almost wasn't scared at all! And you will not be so scary once we sacrifice you to Raxivort!"
After this, he quickly runs out of the room, and his guards follow him. Another pair of guards walk in later, this time not partucalrly well armed. Their faices not tainted by a mark of intellect, they lazily stand guard near the door, a reasonable distance from the cages.
Serit looks to his fellow inmates, "We need to get them closer," he says in a low growl. He looks to the Moxo and reaches out through the bars at him and snarls unintelligibly. He grasps and shifts and makes himself look aggressive, all the while watching for the guards reactions.
The small kobold lets out an involuntary "Yeek," a cross between an eek and a yip, as the huge prisoner launches towards him. If not already in the corner furthest from the bugbear, he scrambles to it now. If already there, he bares his teeth and lets out a small hiss. "Nonononono,IDidNothingToYou!" Moxo quickly hisses out. "LeaveMeAloneYouBigHairyStink,I'mNotWhoLockedYouAndYourFleasUpSoLeaveMeAloneAndGoGiveYourFleasToSomeoneElse!" Moxo speaks fast and defiantly, if not bravely. The security of the bars around his newest foe giving him enough assurance of the safety of speaking at all.

The cells are in a small room with plain packed earth floor. Roll perception to find suitable size rocks to pull out from the ground. Cells are 5 ft apart.
