GoneGobeGone, Moxo thinks to himself, quite distressed. NothingICouldDo! BeatenRightThroughTheBars,PerhapsEvenKilled. NoNotKilled,Wouldn’tTieUpIfKilled!
Moxo’s thoughts race through his head as quickly as his words do his mouth. All jumbled together as if all the time he spends not talking (or thinking) makes him want to hurry up and get it all done when he does.
With the one guard so distracted by the contents of his nasal passages, Moxo wonders if perhaps he could try something. He is tiny, a mere slip of his creature. And his head much more oblong than the round headed folk who mainly make up the world... maybe, just maybe he could force himself between the bars?
Moxo quietly as he can moves to the darkest corner of the cage away from the guard and tries to slip between the bars.
The attempt to slip between the cages does not quite work out. You are briefly stuck before needing to move your head back. You manage to reach further out of the cage and find a couple more rocks (one round, one longer and sharper). The guard is still engaged in his deeply intellectual activities and has not noticed a single thing.
((Moxo has been paying attention, even if cowering. Does it seem all guards have keys? Can he see keys on this one? Perception and f needed: 15 - No point killing guard if Moxo just trapped inside cell anyway.))

One of the guards certainly had a key to open cages. You think the one left behind has it, but you are not certain.

"Stopiwch bigo'ch trwyn, rydych chi'n cipio sugnwr! Mae'n ffiaidd ac yn achosi dafadennau gwenerol!" Moxo cries out and then hefts one of the stones at the guard!
((Attack roll: 15 - If my +2 for ranged weapons applies, then +2 more but I am kind of assuming I don't get that?))
Moxo will then immediately scramble to the furthest part of the cage away from the guard, attempting to dodge any attack until/unless the guard opens the door. Will throw another stone if/when needed.

Moxo shivers in fear. Moxo quakes in his boots. Moxo whines "NoNoNoNoNo,NoHurtMe,I'mSorry!!" and similar in the common tongue until the door is fully opened. Once it is, Moxo shouts out "Sbwriel trwyn llyncu rydych chi'n booger yn bwyta bag o chwydu!" in Draconic and whips another stone towards the guard before quickly dashing to get outside of the cell.

((Attack: 7 Damage: 3))
I'll consider this the surprise round. Roll initiative.
Guard's initiative: 5
And you may as well roll the attack immediately, since the guard stands there dumbfounded.

Jardor's Group
You go in to find a small sleeping quarters, with primitive hay and wood beds. 5 more enemies are getting ready to meet you. A number of rats scurry on the surface.
Moxo
Despite a flurry of attack's you have yet to deal any damage to the enemy, who now tries to hit back.
Attack: 14 Damage: 3 and it's just enough to hit you. You have 6 hp left.

((Seemed I hit on first roll as you told me roll for damage? It ended up being 4 damage? And 4 damage to Moxo would put him at 16, guessing a typo? Nevermind that, that was solved...))
Moxo has little choice at this point, he’ll throw one of his two remaining stones at the guard and then hold the remaining, slightly pointy stone kind of dagger like and get ready to go hand to hand...
Gara follows, normal speed, looking carefully for traps or ambushes.

Attack: [roll]3d20dl2+6[/roll] Damage: [roll](if([roll:-1:critical], =0, 1d8, 2{1d8}.expand()))+4[/roll] Sneakattack: [roll](if([roll:-2:critical], =0, 2d6, 2{2d6}.expand()))[/roll]There are no traps, and looking at the speed the last enemy was running away, it's unlikely there are any.
You hear sounds of weapons clanging in the room ahead.

Your bonus is actually +5 (+3 for dex +2 proficiency bonus), +7 if you had a ranged weapon. Now roll for damage.
((Was using unarmed strike as I was just free handing the throw not using sling as I thought we were unarmed? If going by sling stats it would be damage 7))
(You don't add the +3 for improvised weapons, so it's just 1d4 damage, so 4 in this case.)
The guard is rudely interrupted from his activity. He goes to the cage, spear in hand and opens the lock.

(We are keeping the initiative order and we are waiting on Jardor beofre starting the fight.)

Attack 23
Damage 4
(Yes, you dealt 4 damage to the guard with your first stone throw)
The guard now thins he's invincible and attacks you again.
Attack: 16 Damage: 3 You are down to 1 hp.
