Bugbears? Statues? orrcs? she asks, not genuinely interested since it would probably lead them on a wild goose chase like the peryton thing but still being informed couldn't hurt her and atleast to her recollection, she didn't remember the others mentioning it or anything she had heard of prior.
Abraxas asks, "What news have you heard from Lyrikav? Anything by chance?" He'll look at the others. "We may have to choose between the world and more immediate concerns again. Lyrikav is our next step?"
Harmony hears the guard talk about the bugbears and thinking that the Order of Astar has something to do with it, but not sure why since the orks are the good ones. She nods before hearing Aisha question it, realizing that she wouldn't know. "Right. We had gotten another job offer from the adventuring guild the Order of Astar along with helping the Ranik, also in Galasir in the city of Arketh. They were requesting those skilled in information gathering, that's all we knew. Garu also heard something about how to the south, there is congregations of orges and bugbears to the south too. We had planned on doing the information gathering job after helping the Ranik since they're both in Galasir before helping with the problem in the south." Harmony had then said back to Aisha, letting her know. She heard Abraxas, nodding but wanted to know what Aisha thought about these and see if there is anything new about Lyrikav too.
"Nothing within the last day, sir," the Varin answers Abraxas. The other stifles a yawn with his panda-like paws before shifting uncomfortably in his armor.
OOC: Excellent summary again, Harmony! The party is obviously free to tackle those in whichever order you see fit, if at all. Ready to advance once the next action is taken.
Aisha listened and nodded. It made sense, that's basically an adventurers guild for you.. but it only annoyed her more. And since no one else saw a point in hiding it, or at-least the last time she had been with the group they basically spilled the beans about their situation. Ah... More errands then. Well Aisha knows she's said this before, but we do nyot have time for errands. The only reason Aisha agree'd to the tower one was the promise of strong weapons or armor so that whatever we face so that we do not face a diety with our clothes off wielding our blankets. But thank you for explaining...
She said this knowing the guards could hear. As much as Aisha wishes to help these people on the smaller scale, think back to the last big crisis we averrted. They were on the cus... cu... the edge of finishing their ritual that would have doomed the entire world that Ginan and the other dieties gave you, and then later, this one. They were right on the edge of finishing their ritual when we arrived to stop it! We may have pushed it along a bit for our needs, but they had everything they needed to complete it. If we had gone on one... maybe two more 'errands' this entire world may already have been destroyed.
Unless these errands have some guaruntee of a powerful weapon lost to time, or armor, orr something to give us an edge later, Aisha does not see the point in doing them.
What good is the prrraise of the people if they're all dead because we failed to act sooner? And in turn our world dies with it. So far it has been a group of cultists tryign to summon that snake diety or whatever it was. But think back to every legendary hero, it doesn't go from cultists to cultists, it gets more dangerous after every sucess until they're fighting some legendary drrrrrragon and barely survive it. But somehow Aisha thinks we will be going toe to toe with the other evil dieties eventually.
So far these errands have helped us gain a home, yes, and gain an easy, quick way here. But this will nyot always be so. Can you see the sense Aisha is making?
Harmony listens to Aisha, thinking about it as she nods back with a sigh. She did have a point. "Yeah, I guess you do have a point. We should return to Rikirta and go back to Lyrikav then." she says back, agreeing and hoped that they can stop this deity soon. Harmony felt bad that they can't do all these errands, knowing that time is important.
"I think the only reason to do the errand, as Aisha mentions, is if we are sure it gives us power to succeed in Lyrikav." Abraxas turns to the guard. "Have you heard of unusual or powerful magic involving the bugbears?"
If not, Abraxas says, "Harmony is right," and moves toward the portal.
The guard simply scratches his head at Abraxas's question. "I don't know much about magic, sir. Don't think the bugbears use it much, though," he offers.
Aisha says with a heavy sigh, though for once there was a note of pity or a similar emotion in it as she say Aisha's position is nyot changing. But Aisha will apologize for her attitude. This one realizes she's done almost nothing but complain since we got here, but Aisha is stressed even if this one does not show it. she says, allowing the others to chime in, but if no one else did..
Aisha agree's. We should go back to the guild place, and just tell them who we are. And since we've helped them before.. they're likely to listen, atleast.. more likely. Maybe then we can get more focus on our mission. Afterall, at first, this one was aver.. avers.. against telling others because its almost always bad.. but everytime someone has been told, they seem to not care.. purrhaps this is not the first time such things have happened.
OOC: I'll assume that means that everyone is stepping into the teleportation circle, to get us moving again.
The milky sky and white oceans of Galasir are quickly replaced by the usual hectic energy of the Order of Skogyr. The muffled sounds of scribes talking and shouting upstairs greet you as you arrive standing upon the other end of the teleportation circle.
Aisha is satisfied though she still feels bad as she knows the others just want to help, but she's glad they see the reason behind her words. As the teleportation happens and the world spins, thins, whorls, and then returns to normal - Aisha see's that they're indeed back in the orders halls. Another heavy sigh escapes her lips, this time, because of how tedious she expects this all to be, ever the pessimist.
Aisha and the others have returned! she shouts back, and continues to..This one is sorry for her nerve, but she requests that all the leaders, decision makers, officers, or other members of this order who are in some form of leadership or authorrrr.. autho.. Authorrrritive poisitons be gathered. Let them know that this one apologizes for making such demands, but that this one finds that the situation requires it. Make sure to emphas.. get across that there is nyo immediate danger, but that it is still of grave import in this ones mind.
Aisha's shouting silences the din for only a brief moment, grabbing the attention of the Order's workers just long enough for them to look to Benedict, who starts making his way over to meet the party at the top of the stairs. The rest continue with their work.
"Well that's one way to announce your return. What is it, what happened? The Ranik assured me there was only a moderate amount of danger with their request," Benedict says.
Aisha's initial elation sunk to neutrality as Benedict Arnold approaches. That much is true. The .. death birds were annoying at most, though Abraxus may feel differently.. But none of that is important. This one wishes to gather your leaders, as the fate of your world hangs in the balance. We have been quiet up until nyow, mostly... but that was due to Aisha's caution. However, someone in our group showed me an alternative path... though they likely didn't intend to.
That is why Aisha wishes to speak with more than one of you, as .. to expand those who can hear this... and atleast offer alternative opinions, as what is about to be said will very likely be met with scru.. screw.. doubt.
Abraxas nods along with Aisha. He watches Benedict, prepared to close any books he leaves open, even if he doesn't have a bookmark in place on the open page.
Harmony saw as they were back at the Order, relieved. Then she listens to Aisha, very surprised. Was it something that she had said? She nodded back in agreement with Aisha as she looked at Benedict. "Yeah, we really need to talk everyone that is important. So can you please gather them, pretty please?" Harmony then said to him with a cute, innocent smile and batting her big sparkly eyes.
