Aisha looks legitimately shocked at Harmonies actions, mostly out of not expecting them to happen, but Harmony never really did what Aisha expected.. perhaps Aisha was just jaded? only for Garu to follow up just after and Aisha really didn't know how to react. Speaking so that only those up there could hear Aisha has nyo idea what you're talking bout. She is simply doing what she believes to be the best way to not die, and for us to save our worl dby saving this one.
Benedict looks increasingly nervous, adjusting his spectacles and coughing into his hand before speaking, "I...think you overestimate what I am capable of doing. I'm sure that you believe what you say, but you act as if I could call the Vizier, the Daitengu and the Captain here on my whim. The most I could do is write you a letter of introduction...that I am certainly capable of, but it doesn't guarantee that any of them will listen to your...warning."
Aisha closes her eyes and pinches the bridge of her nose to contain her frustration, mostly as she had .. expected something like this.. it was the same with her tribes leaders. all red vines...
Then let us go to a morre prrivate place to talk, and bring atleast two others who aren't bottom-of-the-chain.
Aisha would wait until the man either refused any portion of her request, or went along with it and wherever they ended up, whether it was him alone, or two other not-new members whether in a private room or where they had stood before, etc etc etc, with everyone else of the 'party' there as well.. she would begin.
Then do both. Write us letters of introductions, but also listen to what this one will be telling you. Because the fate of your world rests on your shoulders, and the decision you make today, will determine whether orr nyot we she says pointing to the others Succeed in averting it.
We were summoned here by the dieties of this world, from our own. Aisha.. thinks its possible that this sort of thing has happened beforre, but its just as likely that we are the first. But there are legends in our homeworld about such things.
We were all, unwillingly plucked from our world by the vari... very... the many dieties of your world. Aisha, was summoned by Ginan, of the shadows, stalth, night, etceterrra. The others were summoned by other ones, each of us .. exempli.. we were summoned by the diety that fit our skillsets.
Blink, and Aisha will prove this to you... if you wish a demonstration.... Tsavi had, at this point, laid down, wherever she was in all this, laying her head on the floor. If the man agree's Aisha will use PWOT, and her natural speed and stealth to slip behind the man before his blink is over, if not, she won't.
Regardless, she continues wherever she ends up. As this one was saying, we were stolen from our world. Aisha is a Tabaxi, not whatever you call the cat-folk here she says, having clearly forgotten what the race Mro'Bur was We com from Torrrrril, in Fay-ruhn. We were then told by our 'patrons' that this world was doomed, because they could nyot fight this fight themselves due to some rrrrestriction or pact, or contrrract.. you get the point. They cannot fight themselves, and so they chose mortal champions who were bound by no such thing.
Originally... Aisha did nyot want to tell anyone this.. there are too many storrries where the person gives up this information and then.. very bad things happen so she kept the kitten in the sack. But then, Harrmony here, accidentally said it in front of someone before they left for the towerr and we met up again rrrecently. That made this one think "Maybe we should just talk" since when Harmony revealed it, the person did nyot even so much as flinch at the revelation.
When we first came here we appeared in Ruskivek, we had nyo idea what this place was. So we aided the city, saved the mayor, dealt with a few small things to learn morre about this world. But when we saved the mayorr of Ruskivek, that wasn't for his sake, but to prevent an apoca... alpaca... a cat-asstrophy. They were attempting to summon one of the dark dieties, one who takes the forrrm of a snake.
Had we arrived purrhaps a day later... this world would already be dead. The mayor was saved by chance of being there when we arrived.
That is what makes this one think haste is requirrred. We cannot continue doing minor errands that any other adventurrrrerrs could do, or that the city guard can handle. Aisha pities those in need, but they will die anyway if we fail.
"Why do you carre to save our world if you are not of it" you ask... Well purrsonally, Aisha doesn't. But if your worrld dies, the same destrrruction will happen to ours. and Aisha will nyot let her sister remain lost forever, only to die because she failed here! Aisha's voice had raised towars the end of it, with flitting emotions as her lip quiverred, but as soon as the sentence ended, she swallowed, took a breath to recompose herself But the others her truly want to save both. So Aisha is the only selfish one here. Do nyot judge them for Aisha's reasons. But this one's reasoning is.. we barely averted the last cat-asstrophy, had we taken even one more 'errand' on.. we may have been too late, both for the mayorr.... and your world. and by extension, our world, and my sister and family.
Aisha .. was an explorrer of knowledge on Torril, she sought out ancient places, to learn of their history, ass well as learned of the histories and stories of our world. And anytime a champion, or set of champions is chosen by a patron, it rarely, if everr stays small-scale. We may begin with the grrrunts, the cultists.. some rrrrandom beasts... but it always escalates. Aisha feels we will, eventually be fighting stronger things, including.. potentially the dark dieties themselves.
So Aisha made this plea to the group to stop running 'errands', and focus our attention on two things: Anything we can find out about these 'dark dieties' and only do quests or journey to places of power, thus why we trrried to with the Tower... we need to arms ourselves with weapons that can harm powerful beings, and armors that can protect us from their attacks.
Aisha is nyot saying we can or will suceed in this, but have you ever heard a tale of a hero taking down a demon lord with a bow crrrafted by the village carpenter? While wearing armor their mothers knitted? Aisha doubts it.
So what we are asking of youand those you can 'introduce us to' is to aid us in this. Aisha understands this all sounds tall, and unlikely, if Aisha wasn't summoned here herself and saw it with her own eyes.. had been in front of Ginan and two other of those who forced us against our will to fight for a world nyot our own, Aisha would have many doubts herself.
But with your help and the help of other orders we may be able to focus our efforts... and at the very least.. improve our chances of succeeding. Because if we fail, everyone on all these moons, and this planet, and this.. universe die. Then, everyone we care about in ours die, as this one has already said. We do nyot care how dangerous a place is if there is a chance to gain something to help us, but we cannot be running through sewers, killing rrrats, or helping people keep a magical barrier up to prrotect their village for another day.
We need to worry about our final mission. And for that, we need your help

Harmony hears Aisha and Garu, nodding back in agreement with them. She waits and listens to Aisha speak, surprised to hear that it was because she had said something. Was it when she spoke with the bards at the inn? Oops, she didn't realize it was meant to be secret! Harmony waited until the other was completely done with speaking, nodding. "If you need to, just mention me! After all, I'm sure that I have attracted a lot of attention because of my appearance and the performances I've done. So Just me being here is proof that we are not from this world at all. What Aisha speaks is the truth, we want and need to save both of our worlds. So if you could do all that you can, that would be really really helpful." she would have said to Benedict too.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Aisha Persuasion (Advantage): 6
Benedict seems distracted at the start, but halfway through Aisha's explanation his note flipping is replaced with a nervous tension. He is silent for nearly a full minute as Harmony concludes, staring between each of you.
"You were sent here from another world...and you waited until now to tell me all of this?" He sighs, "And they are Nekomata, the...cat folk."
"If what you are telling me is true...if you are truly a race from another world and not simply using magic to fool me...I'm not sure what benefit you would gain from that...then I believe that you expect more from me than I can possibly give," he says, muttering to himself as much as to the party.
"The most that I can do for you, like I said, is to write a letter of introduction. Our order has good standing in Lyrikav, but it seems that you expect...what, an army? Weapons and armor we have in the city, but nothing like what you describe. Items of that repute can not simply be bought on a whim, or handed over, and those who have them, the few who did not die in the invasion of Vandyr, found them while excavating ruins, exploring wilderness, the type of work that we already offer to you. I cannot give you any more than I already am, save that letter, which I can certainly write."
"As for these...dark deities, that sort of power is well out of the reach of any within our order," he concludes.
"A letter of introduction is an excellent start," Abraxas says. "Are there any tasks for the Order that might help prepare us? Tasks that involve rumors of great magics, for example?"
Aisha was glad that the man seemed to atleast understand the portents of what she was implying, even if he didn't wholly believe it. She had moved to a squat-sitting position to better rest her legs as she began to respond to the man in the order of his own sentences. Yes, we waited until nyow. As Aisha said before... every story like this, whether a fairy tale or true, if the people reveal this info right off the bat they arrre met with doubt, or mocked. And it leads to nothing, orrr in the rrare case they are believed, it leads to immediate, wide sprrread panic. Do you rreally think you would have believed us had we walked through the doors and made such procla... .. statements within minutes?
A letter is a fine starrt, it will at the verry least give us a possibility, though we will nyot sit idle as we wait for a rresponse. And yes, the work you offer may indeed lead us to such things, but it is only a maybe. We need a bit morre focus. Like Abraxus said we are still willing to perform tasks for the order, but we would like to filter out some of the lesser ones. Think: Where have these 'invasions of Vandyrr' happened? Where has some great evil been quelled, or great heroes died?
Where did a wizarrd or other caster go that was never hearrrd frrom again? Where is a lost city, whether it was lost by war, simply abandoned, or other such things?
Where did something big, bad, or powerful happen? These are the things we seek. If you need us to run an 'errand' while you search and or while we wait to see if your leaders approve, fine. But remember, every second we waste not preparing or countering these things may lead to this worlds doom which means Aisha will die, and then Aisha's sister will die. And Aisha will nyot allow this.
Most rrrecently this is what Aisha rrecieved as a vision... one of a massive statue of an orc that suddenly rips apart into arcane energy. From this energy she saw a tremendous wolf emerge, larger than any being that she has ever seen before. The wolf roared, and the world was rent in two. purrhaps you know of such a place?
he others here also had a vision while they and Aisha were aparrt... she says, also telling Benedict of the main parties vision.
Benedict stutters and stammers, apparently overwhelmed by the onslaught of information. "Our tasks are...the invasions were nowhere near...how do you expect me to even begin to know where to..."
However, the moment the orc statue is mentioned, he pauses. He flips frantically through his ledger, glances up at Aisha and Abraxas, then mutters under his breath as if reading along.
"There. The Statues of the Warlord. Not orks, but bugbears. A farm near the statues was recently put to the torch, and we've heard strange rumors about the place. Let's see, someone...claimed that new statues had appeared since the last time they had been through the area. It's not...I don't know if that helps, but...you confuse me," Benedict says as he leafs through notes.
Harmony listened to Benedict, feeling bad that he was so overwhelmed but at least he can write the letter of introduction. She agreed with Abraxas and Aisha about needing to do work in the mean time that can possibly help them better than the simple ones. Soon Harmony hears Benedict talk about a request, mentioning of strange rumors about the statues and thinking of what happened the last time they investigated a strange statue. "That sounds like the rumors of that Basilisk we looked into so long ago, and that was the start of our quest and us meeting the gods who brought us here. So this could be a sign that maybe we should take this and look into it." she then said to Aisha and Abraxas, being reminded of when they had started in this world and how investigating the Basilisk started it all for them.
"So, it seems possible the the statue from Aisha's dream and those in the task Benedict mentions, The Statues of the Warlord, are the same?" Abraxas says. "We should investigate, if that seems likely."
Aisha nods, agreeing with the other two's assessments. Aisha agree's. Thank you for this information Benedict... But yes, get starrted on the letter of introduction. Aisha never expected you to get armies, or whatever else. However.. while we are dealing with this... Aisha does expect her other questions to be found out.. such as where great wars, or invasions were fought.. and giving us the names of these powerful people who have these rare things are so we may atleast speak to them ourselves and purrhaps glean information of our own.
"Of course, just give me one moment," Benedict sighs, leafing to a blank page and scribbling while still standing. After a few sentences, he stops and looks up. "Erm...what do I call you?" he asks.
Harmony was glad to hear that Aisha and Abraxas agreed, nodding. But then she had heard Benedict ask what to call them, surprised and thinking. They all are from different worlds and are aiming to save the worlds from evil. "What about the Saviors of the World?! Or the Heroic Travelers?" Harmony soon started suggesting group names that could be heroic, but wanted to know what anyone else had for ideas too.
Aisha nods at both of Harmonies suggestions, neither of them bad at all. Aisha doubts we can officially call ourselves a band of heroes, atleast nyot yet. We are Riftwalkers, plane travellers, and reluctant heroes in the making. Pick which of these that have been said based on what you know of those you will be sending it to. Do nyot be afraid to tell them everything we told you. And make sure they know we are willing to undergo truth spells, and other such methods if they doubt us. Whatever it takes to get the yarn rolling.
Aisha may nyot care much about your world, but as she has repeated, your world, and your moons falling will lead to the death of mine. So there is no effort Aisha and the others will not expend to save yours.
"The Saviors of the World, Heroic Travelers, Riftwalkers...which will it be, then? Don't make me choose, though...'Saviors of the World' is a might bit haughty, don't you think?" Benedict asks, before answering Abraxas.
"I don't know a lot about them. History tells us that they used to be the site of duels, and feats of combat dedicated to Kayel. They aren't used for that anymore though, at least not to my knowledge...I'd have called them landmarks more than anything else, up until we got the notice that a farm nearby had been hit," he says.
Harmony heard Aisha and Abraxas, nodding back in agreement. Then she listened to Benedict, surprised and now thinking. "Yeah, I guess that is true. Alright, we're the Heroic Travelers then!" Harmony says back with a big smile.
