"Move. Now" Garu states plainly.

"Yes," Abraxas says, "but where? Aren't there just the two caves ahead of us and the one behind us? Or does the path continue?" He squints. "If it does not, I vote for the cave the creature just left, perhaps. We know at least that it isn't in the cave."

"That works."

Abraxas darts into the cave, with a quick glance at the sky: 24, trying to perceive danger from the sky.

The party's movement does not attract the attention of the creature in the distance. Neither Aisha nor Abraxas see any movement in the sky nearby, but as you pass by the first cave, startled screeches announce the presence of more. Gusting forward on wingspans longer than most humanoids, five peryton in total emerge from the cave, flying rapidly toward the intruders.

Beyond them in the cave are multiple clutches of large eggs.

Five peryton are flying toward you, between 20 and 40 feet away.
The path here is only 5 feet wide, crowded with companions and covered in loose stone. Any movement is difficult terrain.

Harmony was relieved that the creature wasn't hostile. So they kept moving on, going by the cave, only to be shocked at the screeching as five of those creatures come out of the cave and towards them. So Harmony will quickly cast Hypnotic Pattern on them all, hoping that this will work on all or almost all of them.

Action: Cast Hypnotic Pattern targeting all of the Peryton (16 WIS Save or be charmed, incapacitated, and have a speed of 0)

Abraxas plants his feet and casts Ray of Frost at the closest Peryton: 24 to hit and 9 damage. "Should we shelter in the this cave, the one they just left? Take their eggs hostage?" he says.

Garu replies, "I believe the reason we came here is to bring back some of these eggs. Abraxas - what is it about these eggs that might aid them in protective magic?"  

Aisha sighs as she knocks two arrows, takes careful aim, trying not to hit any of her companions if any should somehow be in the way, and if any should resist the patterns sleep, she would aim only at the conscious ones. If all should fall asleep, she wouldn't fire.

The mesmerizing colors cast by Harmony overtake the oncoming monstrosities. Three of them stop in their tracks, hovering in a daze, though the nearest is struck by a simultaneous ray of cold energy from Abraxas. Shaking itself out of its stupor, the creature beelines for the mage, whose reply to Garu's question is cut short. The peryton grips Abraxas's shoulder and never slows, carrying the wizard out into open air. Then it drops him.

Abraxas falls over a hundred feet in total, careening off of the mountainside and eventually rolling to a painful stop after 42 bludgeoning damage.

Aisha places two perfect shots into the body of an oncoming peryton; it is dead before it reaches Garu, continuing the momentum of its flight off of the mountainside. Aisha's claws dig into stone as she twists and dives out of reach of the remaining peryton's beak and claws.

Four peryton remain. Two are still at the entrance of the cave, charmed and incapacitated by Harmony.
Abraxas is prone, 100 feet below the mountain path.
One peryton is flying 20 feet off of the mountain path and 105 feet above Abraxas.
One peryton is engaged in melee combat with Aisha.
The path here is only 5 feet wide, crowded with companions and covered in loose stone. Any movement is difficult terrain.

Aisha whistles at Tsavi, who should be next to her, and Tsavi would engage with the peryton as Aisha swaps weapons to her twin daggers, should the thing survive it, knowing any attempted shot with her bow would be harassed by the creature. Tsavi attempting two bites at the creatures neck, trying to subdue it through neck-suffocation.

Bonus action:

Garu whispers a prayer and looks at the one that just dropped Abraxas and casts, Compelled Duel. “Come here!”, Garu says.

Harmony smiles as she got three of them with her spell, though one got hit by Abraxa's spell and snapped out of it. She was shocked as it grabbed Abraxas and went off before dropping him. "Abraxas!" she screamed, worried and knew that she couldn't use a spell to heal him right now with how far he is. Harmony hears Garu, thinking of what to do.

Action: If the peryton that dropped Abraxas doesn't go to Garu, she will cast Vicious Mockery on it. But if it does go to Garu, she will cast Vicious Mockery on the one with Aisha instead.

Abraxas is surprised to be alive. He stares up at the distant battle. Slowly, he'll climb to his feet. 

If the peryton fighting Aisha is within range, he'll cast Magic Missile at it. Otherwise, he will cast the spell at the one 105 feet above him: 12

The far peryton, hovering in open space, makes no sign of moving toward Garu but screeches at Harmony's words. Before it can make a move against her, it is shredded by three glowing darts from below it. Looking upward, Abraxas watches its plummet follow a similar line to his. T'savi and the remaining hostile peryton become a tumbling dervish. The peryton's talons scrape T'savi's flank, but the panther has the upper hand as blood and feathers fly.

Abraxas's jaw goes slack as he sees the peryton begin to fall toward him. He experiences a moment of deja vu and takes the Dodge action to avoid the falling body, probably stepping on and over the contents of his book bags in the process.

While Aisha did worry for Abraxis, there was quite literally nothing they could do for him. Eyes up here! We can do nothing for him right now without putting more of us at risk! she says as she stabs down at the creature as Tsavi tumbled with it, Aisha stabbing once, while Tsavi clawed at it.

Aisha dagger:  Attack: 7 Damage: 4 + 6 SneAtk.

Tsavi-Claw: Attack: 20 Damage: 8

The falling peryton misses Abraxas by only a few feet, landing upon the ledge with a hearty thud before it careens off to continue its descent. Aisha puts the remaining peryton out of its misery, stabbing its neck while it is pinned down by T'savi.

OOC: Garu and Harmony still have their action for this round. There are two perytons remaining, but they are both still charmed and incapacitated by Harmony's spell.

Harmony was glad as the one was defeated and then Aisha killed the other one, leaving only the two still under her spell. She looked down at Abraxas, thinking. "We need to get him back up here." she would say to Garu and Aisha, ready with the Help action to assist either of them.

Action: Readying a Help action for if Garu or Aisha try anything to get Abraxas back up.

Eyeing the charmed perytons, Abraxas collects his books, quills, and any ink that has survived. His bag and body are probably spattered with ink. Cursing mildly in every language he knows, he also looks for a way back up to his allies, perhaps Investigating the cliffside? 12
