The group finishes their preparations and departs the town of Alberlow Glades, following a wooden boardwalk that rises above the murky swamp water below. After about thirty minutes, the boardwalk descends on to a soft, mushy trail that heads deeper into the swamp. The sounds of frogs and a few birds mask the noise of their sloggy footsteps. After another hour of following the trail, the group reaches a wooden sign that displays a warning message in a few langues. The common tongue reads "Turn back or be consumed". The group decides to continue their journey into the which territory. They come to within twenty minutes of where the settlement should be according to the map that was given to them by Olana.
The group can not see any settlement yet due to the thick nature of the bog around them. Large, mossy trees limit their vision heavily.
The group continues down the trail until they see the top of old wooden houses in the distance. They can see movement in the city, but they are so far away that they can not really discern what the shapes are.
stilgar checks the surrounding area searching for a suitable vantage point which they may use to study the camp and its inhabitants before setting the heist into motion.
Stilgar finds a tree he believes he can climb to get a better view.
Ash studies his surroundings and finds that there is not too much that appears dry enough to start a large wild fire. However, if he tried hard enough. He coupe probably light one tree on fire.
Stilgar looks out into the settlement and sees that buildings are spread out about 30 apart. This town has been built to be more spacious as opposed to a larger town. There seems to be humanoids, mostly wearing robes, walking around doing daily routines. Talking, carrying water from the well, etc.. There is a larger building towards the center of the town. It has a large visible archway which is what Olana described to them. As Stilgar looks for patrols, he does not see any sort of traditional guards that he is used to seeing. Security may be light, but it is hard to tell with everyone wearing almost identical attire of dark colored robes.
Stilgar finds a gap towards the side of the settlement between two houses that has a tree to use for cover as they approach the village. Him and Laurentia gets to 100 feet outside the town, behind a bush and wait.
Ash throws on the rags the witch provided him and approaches the town a distance away from his companions in order to prevent suspicion.

Approaching the tree at the center of town, he pulls a drink out of his pack and casually begins to sip on the beverage while observing the area for inhabitants.

" You look wonderful darling!" Laurentia says giving him a hug before turning into a newt and slipping into his pocket.
“was shootin for crusty swamp hag but i appreciate your eye for fine craftsmanship.”

”I don’t feel we should split until we have eyes on the target. Shall we continue together?”
Darrimus will take point in sloshing through the wet atmosphere.

”You’re going to set random people’s houses on fire? What if there are innocents? A tree would be better. And not risk us getting so close.”

stilgar descends from the tree an walks back to his group nervously rubbing the back of his head,
”they dont look too menacing. bet we could stroll right up to the gates, explain out situation, and have a proper chat...”
just as he approaches the group he hears darrimus and ash debating on how to smoke them out.

Laurentia rubs her little newt head in consideration.
"It was a joke, old sport." Ash replies to Darrimus with some nervous laughter.
Ash looks for any trees close to the center of town.
There do appear to be trees towards the center of town in between the buildings.

Darrimus dons the rags and follows ash. He places the shield on his back and covers it with the rob. He feels naked without it and follows Ash.
