Darrimus and Ash adorn robes before walking into the settlement. At first the witches pay no attention to you, but the two seem to gather quite the attention the further they get into town. Stilgar and Laurentia witness the display from afar as a hole in the cloak reveals Darrimus's shield on his back. The cloth robes move back and forth over the eye engravement on the piece. Ash and Darrimus reach the tree and Ash spares no time in pulling out bottles of liquor in an attempt to dose the tree. This prompts obvious whispers from the witches around town. Stilgar and Laurentia make their way in town, and are about 60 feet away from Ash and Darrimus next to the side of a house.
Darrimus places his hand on Ash’s shoulder leans in and quietly says.
”Think a distraction has been made... No need for fire.... Distraction is us...”
Darrimus looks around and gives the on-lookers a half a smile.
”Should we ask if there is a good place to eat nearby? I’m low on funds but maybe they’d trade for some pickles. Actually... screw it. Give me the barrel of pickles.”
Darrimus will take the barrel of pickles. Take one out and take a bite and loudly say.
”Mmm... Best pickles on Odiago! 2 for a silver! Come get a taste!”
The witches seem skeptical at first, but after a brief moment they approach Darrimus and Ash and start asking about the pickles. Before too long a group of 10 gathers around asking for Darrimus's pickles..
Stilgar and Laurentia make it to the large building in the center of town. They are about 50 feet away from the large archway that hangs over the wooden, double door.
stilgar summons his mage hand and uses it to lift his pocket companion to the window seal before opening it. if laurentia motions him up signaling that the room is clear, stilgar will scale the building and climb through the window.

Ash, taken aback by Darrimus's forward thinking, picks up a pickle and begins to spin it in his hand. "They go great with booze!" he announces, taking another sip of beer.

With the corner of his eye, Ash takes note of the puddle of alcohol near the base of the tree in case more drastic measures are needed.
Darrimus is a little sad he is departing with his pickles but knows he has to do what he needs to keep their attention and make sure him and Ash get out alive.
"Don't hesitate! Two pickles for one silver. Eat one pickle here and take one later. If you don't like the pickle you eat here I'll give you your money back! Now who wants a pickle?"
Darrimus will legitimately begin selling his pickles.
The witches approach Darrimus and taste the pickles. They find the quite enjoyable and he begins selling them. Easily selling a 12 pickles to the surrounding witches. They begin talking among themselves and one asks Darrimus "I never knew pickles could taste this good! Did you make them yourselves?"
Laurentia floats to the window and looks inside but does not see anyone there.
"No.. No I didn't. They are tasty though! I helped a fella out who's family made the pickles. He was having trouble with a bar tab. The barkeep didn't need his pickles but needed gold! I had gold and wanted pickles so it seemed simple enough! After awhile though I started to get tired of pickles so I thought selling them would be best both for my taste buds and for my back. Carrying these things around gets tiring!"
Darrimus looks around.
"I appreciate your business. Can I repay you all by spending this silver here at one of your local establishments? Any place good to eat around these parts?"
Laurentia wiggles excitedly and makes her way into the room as Stilgar makes his way up to the window. She tries to listen and smell for any nearby witches in the building. She also looks around the room trying to figure out what happens here.
Perception 17
If she senses anyone she will reform her shape and tell Stilgar.
Laurentia looks around the room, and it appears to be set up as place of gathering similar to what she has seen before in churches and cathedrals. The room is 60 feet wide and 100 feet long. There is a podium at the front with benches facing it. There is also an altar behind the podium that blocks the view of most of the back wall. According to Olana, there should be a door back there. She does not see anyone inside.
Laurentia gestures to Stilgar and he stealthily moves over and scales the wall to the window. He opens the window and descends inside.
"I believe my friend here asked you a question, fellers. We come a long way to give you a taste of these pickles, the least you could do is show us where we can get some hospitality in return."
The group shuffles about, talking among themselves before one responds "We don't really have visitors much here. If you like, maybe we could try to prepare a dinner for you all! My name is Rena and my house is over there.." She points to a building on the other side of large building in the center of town. "Once your business is finished, you can come over. I will start preparing what I can."
She and one other witch leave and start heading toward the building that she pointed at. A fee more witches join the group and purchase 10 more pickles.
stilgar scoops up his newt friend from the seal and places her back in his pocket. keeping an eye out for anything worth snatching, the rogue heads towards the door the witch had informed them of.
"Thank you! I am glad you like the pickles. Sounds like we have plans for dinner! Are there any places in town you would recommend for visitors to see while we are here?" says Darrimus.
The witches don't respond to Darrimus question at first. After an awkward silence one finally says "We don't every really have visitors and we only have or houses and necessities here. All of our needs are supplied to us by Mother and the Town Below."
