With a combination attack of Gotrek and Gorlok, the last orc is beheaded.
Combat is now over, please award your characters 180 xp each.
With the battle finally concluded, the adventures have realized that while tracking the orcs, they stumbled upon some sort of tent and campsite area. There are some sticks throw together to make a chair near the campfire that is still smoking from a previous night's flame.
Ulala twirls around with her arms high at the sight of victory. “We sure showed them!” she exclaims, making her way to Gotrek to hug the machine. Still embracing the robot, she looks to Graxxy. “So, where to next?”
gorlok makes his way from orc to orc removing their heads and searching for loot. once hes collected the last trophy gorlok rejoins his party holding the jumbled mess of skulls by the hair.
”Aye who wans ta kep trak o these, as good as gold they are!”
The group inspects the camp and discovers that it seems to be a standard hunting camp. Inside the tent is a few bed rolls and some meat that is hung up on a wooden apparatus to dry. There does not seem to be too much more to this camp.
The orcs contained 6x hide armor, 4 great axes and 2 javelins. Besides that, the only notable items are some clothing (boots and fur shirts).
On the north side of the camp, seems to be a trail that the looks well trodden.
"Utter and absolute domination with just a few scratches from them. It seems our warband syncs well together in combat. Sticking to these maneuvers will guarantee us victory with minimal losses" says Graxxy.
Graxx walks over and retrieves his discarded net.
"Good. The beast simply escaped and didn't think to use his axe on my net" says Graxxy with a smile.
Graxxy places his trident back on his net and once more places his shield in his left hand and a net in his right.
With a slap of his net against his shield he looks to the northbound trail.
"This most likely leads to the main camp. We can strike now swiftly and suddenly and have a narrow exit route. Or we can circle wide taking out another encampment which will give us a larger area to return from. The risk of circling is an Orc could find this encampment and warn the others of the coming slaughter. What are your thoughts?" Graxxy asks the group.
"After this bout, I'm not too worried about running into any of them besides that Bonelasher. I say we take a direct route and try to secure the chieftain before another party gets to him or he gets word we are coming." As far as all this stuff."
Percy gestures to the various bits of minor loot,
"If we really want to pick it up and sell it later, lets cut the head off the snake and scatter the lot of them. Then when Gorlok can spare the use of that axe for a bit or me my crossbow, I can turn that sack Gotrek has into a temporary bag of holding to lug it all back in. For now,"
Percy will take an empty sack from his bag and tie it to Gotrek,
"I think Gotrek can carry these heads. Unless someone else is willing."
"I like your style, Percy" Graxxy says as he places the net on his side and retrieves a javelin.
"I'll carry a couple to help send a message." says Graxxy as he walks over to the severed orc heads.
Graxxy would like to begin running the javelin through the Orc mouths and out the top of their skulls till he fills up his javelin leaving a slot where he can place his hand to be used as a walking stick.
"We have a better chance of beating the others to the prize if we strike now." says Graxx gesturing to the northern path.
"You do make the best of seemingly every situation Gorlok. You did quite well for yourself back there."
He points to Graxxy's spear, "While grotesque, I appreciate a man who understands the battlefield of the opponents' minds *he taps his temple to punctuate this statement* as well as the one we fight on. I am proud to fight with both of you."
A direct route is not really my style, but if time is of the essence I can adjust my approach. Let’s make our way directly to the camp. (Addressing the Paladin) Your ability to keep creatures bound is impressive perhaps you can put those skills to good use on that orc chieftain.
"Yes, while it may no longer do physical harm it will let these Orcs know the fate of any who oppose us on our path." says Graxxy.
"Let's gather the rest of these heads up. We have at least one more to add to our collection."
Graxxy turns to the elf.
"Let us keep being direct and you keep firing those shots from the shadows. Your first strike set in motion our victory. If you are successful in securing the surrender or knocking out this half-orc I will respect it and bind him. Make no mistake, my strikes will be aimed to kill."
Graxxy's joyous bloodlusted expression fades into a serious one.
"You know. The way we all gathered here from all walks of life. It seems like we have a pretty good group here. But... There's likely to be at least one bad apple in this militia. If anyone tries to take our rightful spoils to claim as their own they will meet the same end as these Orcs. I care not if they are human, dwarf, or elf. My trident will not discriminate against any who seek to steal our glory.”
Refusing to let go of Gotrek, Ulala’s feet drag along the ground as the robot begins scanning the area. She lets go upon hearing Graxxy’s words, her sleepy eyes turning serious as she gazes towards the path that the party will undoubtedly travel down next.
The group advances out the northern trail and follow the path for about 2 hours (it is now approaching around noon). Rounding a bundle of trees, the group is able to spot what appears to be the camp about 150 feet away. Percy turns to Gortek and sends him forward to see report back on what he can see. Gortek reports that it seems to be a large camp. The camp has 8 large tents, with the largest one being towards the center of of the site. Wisdom would hold that there would be around 30-50 orcs in this encampment at full occupancy. Gortek can see orcs walking around, but they seem to not be alerted by your presence. The camp does not have any walls, although it does have spiked wooden traps that funnel into the camp limiting the number of easily accessible entrances. From what you Gortek can see, this current path leads to an entrance that is about 10 feet wide, and there appears to be another similiar entrance on the west side of the camp. Gortek can not see the western or northern sides.
Gotrek attempts to strike the last orc.
Attack: 14 Damage: 6
"None shall survive!" Graxx shouts.
Graxxy drops his shield to the ground.
Graxxy grips his Trident with both hands and aim to stick the orc in the chest with it.
Attack: 6 Damage: 7
taking a running start, gorlok uses the full weight of his mighty axe to spin in a circle before swinging it at the orcs head
Attack: 22 Damage: 12

"Good show everyone! These orcs didn't know what hit them." Percy says.
He casts mending on Gotrek again. 6
"Seems like a pretty bare camp. Probably a ways to go to get to the main encampment. Might as well have a look around though.

takin aback by the grotesque sight of the orc skull javelin, gorlok readies his axe and shield waiting to continue.
“aye ya yappy fooks, lets strike while tha irons hot, yes!...ima loose meh head... if we dont find the halfbreed. hahaha!
gorlok nudges percy with his elbow
”get tit? LOSE MEEH HEAD!!!”
Percy covers his mouth as he laughs quietly.

Laughing heartily Gorlok falls to the ground caught in an imaginary net.

Gotrek turns to Percy and Ulalaand there is somehow a smile on the mechanical face.
" He hasn't had many hugs, but now seems a perfectly good time to start," Percy Says. "He seems to have appreciated that, small wonder."
After being let go Gotrek turns and hugs but just on Ulala's leg.
" I guess he is still learning."
" Gotrek you make sure to keep your eyes open as we make our way ahead."
Gotrek nods.
