Graxxy slowly slices the webbing open to reveal a hairy, furry humanoid figure. The face at first seems disfigured, but revealing more of his face shows a long nose and a mustache on a large, rats face! This seems to be a giant, humanoid rat known as a wererat. The group had heard about these before, but this is the first time encountering them. Looking closely, the figure seems to be breathing, but just barely. Judging from the previous poke however, the wererat does not seem conscious.
After escaping the webbing and catching up to her party, Ulala feels a fleeting sense of relief. She immediately turns pale again after seeing the wererat.
Percy cranes his neck to see what pops out before exclaiming,
"Well that seems a more likely culprit to be assualting the farmers, but where are the rest? And do these creatures really have that kind of oraganization?"
"That does still leave us with the problem of finding our way out. Unless you would like me to try the lockpicking. I"m unsure what other avenues we might have besides continuing here."
Wracking his brain, Graxxy remembers the teaching of his paladin ways and the mentions of curses. Were curses in particular can be transferred by just a simple bite against those with weak constitution. While most are curable with remove curse spell, a direct bite from a royal lycanthropy blood line can only be cured only with the blood of the master or with a wish spell. While these are rare occurrences, the severity of potential affliction stuck out to him during his studies. The curse itself causes the primal instincts of those it afflicts to come forth, especially when under the full moon. When losing control, the afflicted loses all sense of knowing and lash out in search of blood. Under some circumstances, an individual can learn to control the primal rage, but those instances are rare. It is rumored that the rarity of control is exaggerated and that those that can control the curse just chose to live in privacy due to public fear and scrunity. This is the extent of what Graxxy can remember.
Ooc: if you were looking for anything else in particular just let me know. Also just remember as well that people that are unconscious in the dnd world can be brought back to conscious by healing. I think I saw someone mention that so I just wanted to clarify
Graxxy uses his touch to restore health to the creature. His face begins to twitch his mustache then his eyes flash open and start darting around the room. As he sees the group, he starts thrashing about and lets out a scream. "Helps me!" he then clicks his mouth a few times as he continues to roll around.
The wererat looks at Gorlok and sneers. "Are you trapped in here as well? Of course we are not the only ones here! Squim... where is Squim? I need to find him!"
"Yes. Yes. Squim is our king! Squim commands many! At least 15. What Squim says we do. But sometimes I don't always do what Squim says I must do!" The wererat starts hitting himself in the forehead while continuing "I was scared. There were people they knew! I could not leave the sewers like Squim told and now... NOW" The wererat looks over to the shredded web and starting throwing it back on himself "Help me! Help me! If Squim finds out I broke from my punishment it will be WORSE!"
"This is torture.... No King should torture it's loyalists. Let's get you away from this spider. If you don't resist this will be easier." says Graxxy.
Graxxy is going to drag the wererat back to the entrance.
Graxxy drags the wererat into the previous room. While having some difficulty dragging the wererat through the webbing, Percy, Gorlok and Ulala kept watch, ensuring that no spider attacked whilst the transfer was being carried out.

"Doesn't seem to be among the living." Graxxy says.
Graxx puts a prong of his trident into the web and pushes it down cutting open the webbing.

gorlok retrieves his manacles and carefully restrains the wererat.
The wererat is constrained and is still unconscious. Ulala is able to tell from the webbing the it is indeed from a spider.

Graxxy says outloud all that he knows(typed above) to the group so everyone is on the same page.
"This curse is beyond my healing powers but I believe I can wake the cursed being." says Graxxy.
Graxxy leans down and places one finger on the were's head. He uses 1 point of Lay on Hands to heal the were for 1 point.
Graxxy uses his touch to restore health to the creature. His face begins to twitch his mustache then his eyes flash open and start darting around the room. As he sees the group, he starts thrashing about and lets out a scream. "Helps me!" he then clicks his mouth a few times as he continues to roll around.
careful not to get too close, gorlok tries to calm the ratman
”EASY, easy lad, well help ya. wheres yer friends? are ya alone in this sewer??”
The wererat looks at Gorlok and sneers. "Are you trapped in here as well? Of course we are not the only ones here! Squim... where is Squim? I need to find him!"
The wereate begins thrashing about again.
Graxxy stares down at the wererat and says flatly...
"Quit your thrashing about or you'll alert that Spider and we will fight it over your foolery." says Graxxy.
Intimidation: 8
The wererat stops immediately after Graxxy's intimidation.
gorlok pays graxxy an exaggerated wink and thumbs up impressed with his natural ability command attention from a such a feral beast.
he returns his attention back to the ratman,
”alright lad, lehts try this again. Aye assume yer companion squim an you dwell in these sewers? how many more o yas are there?”
Percy listens from down the tunnel taking notes.
"Yes. Yes. Squim is our king! Squim commands many! At least 15. What Squim says we do. But sometimes I don't always do what Squim says I must do!" The wererat starts hitting himself in the forehead while continuing "I was scared. There were people they knew! I could not leave the sewers like Squim told and now... Graxxy grimaces.
"This is torture.... No King should torture it's loyalists. Let's get you away from this spider. If you don't resist this will be easier." says Graxxy.
Graxxy is going to drag the wererat back to the entrance.
