Um, thank you, yes, but don't... oh, thank you. Are you all right? Deet says to Klee.
Oh dear,he saysas the chasing group disappears along the road. Well, I don't think I can catch them on these legs. Instead he just stands around, inspecting the general weirdness of the city, and enjoying the night air. Then he remembers that there's probably been a murder, and looks a little glummer, but only a little.
Klee shrugs. "What kinna lass you take me for?" She protests, skulking over to try the handle of the door and, if its locked, having a crack with her scribing tools.
As the man starts to flee into the thickening crowd he lets out a loud high pitched whistle.
Cragmyre and Arden please roll dexterity checks
Klee, just as you start on the lock, which you believe is an easy Fightmarch Tumbler design, you hear the whistle. There is immediately lots of banging and crashing coming from inside, as though chairs are being knocked over.
Arden leans in on the man as well Yes, start talking or radishes won’t be the only thing fried up with herbs he produces a dagger from his sleeve intimidation25sleight of hand18
The man at first looks defiantly into the face of the large grey man but the sudden appearance of the dagger as well as the whispered threat, said with such conviction, makes for a sudden fear in the man that verges on blind terror. The man begins to scream at the top of his lungs and Arden can't help but notice the large puddle spreading beneath him. The early morning people on the street stop to take in the strange sight. Some start to walk toward the situation.
Meanwhile outside the warehouse, the padlock opens with a satisfying click. The slide bolt is now free to move. Commotion can still be heard from inside.
Klee steps back from the door deferentially, gesturing Tahta towards the bolt. Meanwhile she starts sizing up the building - is it detached? Are there alleys either side of it or around the back? Does it connect to other buildings above street level via walkways? If she were inside and knew the front door was compromised, how would she get out? Because that's where she's headed now, with her hands lost in the strangely glowing sleeves of her tunic.
Investigation : 6 (Ouch! ....and that's how she came to be back in her bedroom in the guesthouse..?)
Arden sheathes his dagger while looking up and down the street Alright, mate, alright. You’re radishes are safe, just took you for a harder sort, is all. Look, answer a couple questions and you’re on your way, alright? He smoothes the mans lapels and pats him gingerly on the shoulder while making sure not to get any piddle on his shoes.

Tahta, Klee and Deet;
The building is three stories in height and butts flush to the building on it's left but there is a very narrow alleyway on the right. The sounds inside are getting distant so it's not too big a leap to surmise that they are going out the back.
Cragmyre used to run miles and miles in the desert on hunting trips, he's in; the grey-skinned genasi bolts after the man.

Tahta stands there, somewhat confused and looks over at Klee.
Can you get in there?

Arden curses under his breath Mother Pullcot.
And dashes after Cragmyre and the man.
As the man starts to flee into the thickening crowd he lets out a loud high pitched whistle.

Arden and Cragmyre deftly make their way through the morning crowds and catch up to the man in quick measure. His whistle catches in his throat.
What would you like to do with him?
Cragmyre goes in quickly and grabs the man's arms. "You tell us who you are. You tell us what goes on in that building."

We all have a part to play in the circus of life. You play yours well.
She steps into the warehouse and quickly scans the place
