As you step inside you are in a vast room filled with creates of various sizes. Near the middle of the room is what is left of a game of cards. Chairs knocked over, coppers strewn about and a bottle wine on it's side making a glug glug noise as it slowly empties.
You just see a foot disappear out a door in the back of the premises.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Should we chase them? Deet asks, regretting that his incredible stealth skills are going to waste. He looks around to see if anything catches his interest as the likely property of a Not Rat: Perception5
Klee runs down the narrow alleyway jumping over garbage and old broken furniture. She soon finds herself in the alleyway out the back of the warehouse, seeing three women running north.
Deet see's nothing that might belong to the Not Rat but you do notice a circular stain on the floor near the makeshift card table. It is surrounded by glyphs and symbols.

Deet goes over to investigate the circular stain and the glyphs and symbols. Investigation16. Looks odd. I wonder what it means. He picks up a random object and tosses it at the circle, to see if it bounces or is swallowed up.
Cragmyre lifts an eyebrow quizzically at the man's local slang, holding onto him for a moment longer while Arden runs off. "Just tell me who you are the rambler for. And I will leave you to clean yourself." He wrinkles his nose at the smell of the man's urine.
Deet & Tahta: You vaguely know the symbols are of a school of magic you are not familiar with. You toss a pewter mug onto the circle and it clanks on the cobbled floor and disappointingly rolls in a semi circle quite normally. There is paper on the crate/gaming table along with some shards of charcoal. Most of the pieces of parchment are taken up with symbols that look familiar to those on the floor. Arden burst through the door and runs past you both on his way out the back.
Arden: You run through the warehouse and out the back door.
"Klee": The women are about 200ft away and about to turn right into another alleyway.
Cragmyre: The Rambler is rambling. J J Just some bints! They they are doin' some magic or somefin'! I don't know! I thought they's just doin'stuff that tha Bow Gristle (Battle Mage -> Cattle Sage -> Cow Thistle -> Bow Gristle) don't like! I I I ain't no part of it!
Sihegiall double-dashes after the bints. (90ft in a round, but taking that right hand turn wide and slowly to avoid an ambush so might lose some ground there)
Tahta gathers all the paperwork and does a quick sketch on the back of one. Since the symbols are in detail already on the parchment, she is looking more at a sketch of what went where on the circle. When finished, she head out after the rest of em just in case the bow gistle is on the way (i love rhyming slang)
You find the severed chair leg not far away from the circle leaning against a crate. In neat handwriting on the side of the box is written "Brie & Molly McGuffin" with a date of two and half weeks ago. (Just grabbing the papers will do the trick as they seem to be instructions on making the circle)
"Klee" & Arden:
Arden, you are about halfway down the block running towards Klee when you see her stop dead on a corner turning right. Klee, you round the corner and are confronted by a street packed with people and fishmongers. This is obviously the early morning markets for the direct selling fisherman. If you wish to search the crowd I will need an Investigation check.
Cragmyre:
The Rambler is begging for you to let him go and some locals are now starting to approach you telling you to drop him.
Arden slips his daggers back into his sleeves as he catches up to Klee Where are they? Did you see where they went? Arden will try to aid Klee in her search or make his own, whatever works.
Deet dutifully grabs the box (how big is it?). Brie and Molly? Sounds like a nice couple. I guess we don't know they were a couple. Maybe they were. Anyway, let's go.
Deet carries the box carefully and follows the path that the speeding Arden took, out the back door and on to... can he see where the others are? Or hear, at least?

Sihegiall runs around the back, knives out.

Arden sees Klee running, releases the right rambler, and dashes after her two daggers appearing in his hands.
(how far away are the women?)

Tahta watches Deet to see if anything happens. It'd be nice to somehow draw this design. Is there paper around?

Deet sits down and waits patiently for Tahta to do her thing, then follows when she heads out. What do you think it is?
Tahta thinks of one more thing before leaving.
Does she find the other halves of the chair legs?
Investigation 5
Are the chair legs here? That'll tell us if it was a travel spell.

Aha! See that? We're velxunai! Like spies! We see all.
Tahta smiles broadly and makes sure she has all the papers. Then she grabs a table leg and turns again to Deet
Deet! Can you grab the box of Brie and Molly's stuff? Might be more mrigg udossta colbauth - to guide our path...clues!
