Sol, doing her best to swallow her pride steps forward, "I'm  a bit worse for wear and would appreciate your healing, friend."

"I feel others are worse for wear than I," says Kevin. "Besides, I heal fast!" He adds with a hearty laugh. A moment or two after the laugh subsides, he mumbles to himself: "At least I hope so."

Cedric walks over to Dewey and Sol Rhea and places a glowing hand on each of them in turn.

"There, you should feel better now," Cedric says before returning to the group of Watchmen.

Captain Staget and Renaer exchange some parting words and the City Watch begins processing the scene, including taking possession of your prisoner. Renaer turns to the party, "So, what did you learn from that Kenku about where Xanathar's Guild took Floon?"

FLASHBACK...

Randy says placidly. "They took him into the sewers. They were to follow yellow signs to the boss."

Randy: Renaer recoils a little. "The sewers? Eww." He looks at his disheveled state and shrugs. "Oh well, I guess I can't really get any dirtier."

He turns to the party. "Are you all ready to go? Anything else you all need before we search for Floon?"

"How about a hug?" asks Kevin, his arms outstretched.

"I'm ready." Randy placidly announces.

“Hahaha!”  Dewey laughs jubilantly. “That’s what I’m talking about!”  Dewey smashes his fuzzy head into Kevin’s torso and purrs.  “Last time I had a hug like this I was on the poop deck surrounded by seamen!  Get in here Randy!” 

Dewey tries to pull Randy into the hug. 

Randy refrains from joining in the hug and screams into Dewey's mind: "DON'T TOUCH ME!!"

Sol eyes the others while remaining out of hug distance. "I'm good to go".

With the hug commenced, Kevin lets go and says, "Shall we away?"

You all exit the warehouse and make it out to the streets. You're standing on Candle Lane, looking for an entrance to the sewers.

Renaer says, "Do you guys see anything?"

Everyone make an Investigation check.

You all search for signs of the path the Xanathar Guild members took. Renaer joins you in your search.

After a few minutes of searching, you all unfortunately come up with nothing. Renaer looks around and sees a few locals of Candle Lane. "Maybe they saw something. Should we talk to one of them?"

You all see various members of the Dock Ward community:

- A family of five humans who poke their heads out of a house across from the warehouse.

- A pair of sailors, one a male elf and one a female half-orc.

- A dwarf with a large pack on his back.

- A drunk halfling, huddled in a pile of trash in an alley.

What do you want to do?

Randy will walk up to the drunk halfling and ask him, "Did you see anybody enter the sewer around here?"

Randy: The halfling clutches a bottle in his hands and looks up at you with bleary eyes. "Maybe I did, and maybe it didn't. Some coin might jog my memory."

He holds out an open palm.
