As the dragonborn walks out, with a drawn blade, Leshanna pulls out her longbow and follows him out. She keeps in contact with Hoot, who has kept an eye on the cat. She gives the princeling, as she thinks of him, directions twards the cat, if it is needed.
When Bahamut's name is called, the cat looks skyward, then runs swiftly into the woods, tail tucked in between its legs, almost bumping into Leshanna on its way out.

"Well let us be off then." Leshanna announces as she dodges the huge cat. She moves back to her horse, leading it out from inside the temple, then mounts and is ready to continue the hunt.
"We were following a trail before this break." Leshanna says. "Let's return and continue on after that trail..." She will give the help action for helping to find the trail back again.
Following the trail of ball bearings, leads the party a good distance into the woods, and after an hour, the group finds the trail and more ball bearings. After a few more hours, they find Horak walking along the trail. Signs of recent passage mark the ground. Several trails of deep footprints smear the muddy path, along with the nearby foliage being slashed as if with a sword.
Edit (Since Horak already looked for the trail, I'll just say he found it, and the rest of the group can just follow the ball bearings.)
Hoot spots several large creatures, nit unlike the cat in the village, turn away once the party comes close. The trail goes on for hours until once again the darkness takes over, and the fog rolls in once more.
