Leshanna sends Hoot flying over the pit and looking into it, to see if anything down there is a threat. She would stay back from the pit herself until verified there is no monster waiting there for them.

The hole is only 10ft deep, with nothing but residue water in it.

The bodies are dead, and have been for several hours.

Two of the bodies were killed by arrows, but the third has a knife would in her gut.

"Well, I suggest we leave those doors alone."  Leshanna says, nodding to the ones that seem to be bulging inward.  She heads towards the other exit from the room.

Aeson can tell the arrows were shot from the North door, the one Leshanna just checked, and that the weapon that killed the third cultist was a Dragontooth Dagger

"Hmmm... This one seems to have been killed by a rare dagger of sorts. Interesting. There seems to have been a brief fight. I believe the culprits fled through that door Leshanna."

"Are we ready to see what is there then?" Leshanna asks, nodding to the doors to the north.  "They appear not to be trapped."  She will open the doors if everyone is ready.

 Aeson takes a gulp and nods.

Tarkin will move through the room and position himself near the door to remain out of sight for now.

He will also look at the bodies and try to determine if the dead bodies were caught offguard or if they had time to position themselves for a fight, using the position of the bodies to see if they died quickly or if they put up a fight. (perception 16)

As everyone moves about the room Raishan would have been keeping watch. Then when everyone is ready will follow the 1st person through the door.

Tarkin: The bodies appear to have died quickly, without a chance to even cry out.

The doors open to a large chamber, nearly twenty feet high. A massive stone sarcophagus sits in the center of the room, resting on a dais. The walls are decorated with life-sizeed frescoes, depicting forgotten gods. Four lit braziers sit the the corners, giving light and warmth.

Everyone save Tarkin gets a feeling of unease when they enter the room, and feel as if nothing should be disturbed in this room.

"Well there must be somewhere we can go from here, or else where did those who slew the ones back there go..." Leshanna says. She starts to look around, trying to find any sign of a secret door.  Her owl does the same.

Leshanna, with the help of her trusty owl, detects a thin plaster laid over the frescoes.

If she approached the coffin: (If any others approach, read the spoiler.)

Leshanna would have checked the entire area, so yes she would have moved up to the coffin.

"Seems that it is going to open a path to the one we seek."  Leshanna tells the others.  "Snake-people are here too, so we best be on our guard." She is ready if a portal opens in the north wall.

"No time like the present, let's do this." Raishan say as he prepares himself.

A little surprised by the talking sarcophagus Tarkin readies himself tilting his head left and right loosening his muscles. I dont think ive ever seen snake people before. he mumbles

 Aeson readies himself as well
