The three skeletons in the colorful mist continue to try and find their bearings, though the most is becoming thinner. Three more skeletons are beginning to cross the grappling hooks and board your ship. The undead captain screams in his low-gutteral voice "YOU!" as he points his Sabre at Grimnir.

Grimnir and Varis
The Undead Captain locks eyes with Grmnir. Slowly, blood begins to run from Grimnirs eye. You can hear him trying to struggle but he is frozen in place

With Varis' realization of what is happening to him, he decides to push into this necrotic power. Thus, he attempts to cast Chill Touch at two of the skeletons closest to him.
New Domain skill: Reaper- cast cantrip that normally allows for damage of one creature, the spell can instead target two creatures within range and within 5 feet of each other.
Attack: 14
Damage: 8 This was originally, a 4. And why it has the error.
A skeletal hand bursts from your own. It flies toward the skeleton pirates leaving a trail of purple smoke in its wake. The hand enters through the skull of the closest skeleton, and exits through the skull of the one behind it. They reel and grab at their skulls fiercely.
After struggling against the hold the Skeletal captain has against him, Grimnir's blood begins to pump harder and harder until it sends him into a primal rage.
He lets loose a roar loud enough that it reverberates off of the bodies of those standing near him; almost taking on the sound that an injured grizzly would make.
Begin first round of berserker rage.
You'll have to let me know if I still need to roll to shake loose from the Captain's control or not. When I have the go ahead, I'll make my attack rolls. :D

Your sword grazes the pirate captains hat, but does not connect.
Pafaren
Pafaren calls to the rest of you, "Watch Out!" He then grabs a vial of orange liquid from his coat and hurls it into colorful mist. Once the vial makes impact a flash of orange and red fire erupt from it.
To hit: 12 damage 6
The flame engulfs the skeletons, reducing one to ash. Two remain standing, attempting to pat out the flames.
Jana:
Seeing Grimnir swing at the captain, Jana loads a bolt and lets it fly toward the captain.
To it: 17 Damage: 5

Colter runs to the grappling hooks and tries to dislodge them before the next wave of skeletons can board.

Colter is able to dislodge one grappling hook, both the hook and the skeleton climbing across it fall into the sea.
The pirate captain locks eyes with Grimnir again, this time instead of casting a horrifying gaze, he takes his inky black sabre and swings it furiously at Grimnir. As his assault on Grimnir mounts, he also takes a bronze dagger from his side and lunges wildly with it.
To hit: 13 Damage: 8
To hit: 21 Damage: 7
To hit: 8 Damage: 8
As the Captain swings his dagger, it flies from his hand, slides across the deck, and into the sea.
As the skeletons regain their sight, and emerge from the mist they both rush toward Varis short swords striking out like vipers.
To Hit: 9 Damage: 6
To Hit: 21 Damage: 4
The additional two skeletons shamble aboard the ship and look for a target.

Varis pulls out his scimitar in time to fend off one of the skeletons. Yet, he was neither fast nor skilled enough to defend against the other skeleton. He was hit in his left side; as he winces in pain, he casts guiding bolt at the undead captain. He hopes now that he understands and accepts the power that has been trying to emerge from him, his magic will work properly again.

The bolt of energy sails past the skeleton and in to the sky. Despite missing the target, the spell seemed to be working as it was before, and you feel much more comfortable with your casting abilities.

In a voice that is thunderous and growling, Grimnir shouts to those near him, "Take out their grappling hooks!"
Summoning all of his might once again goes into a rage, focusing his attacks towards the ghostly captain. With his eyes bloodshot and his mouth frothing with saliva, he jettisons forward aiming the blade of his longsword towards the gleaming eyes of the Captain.

Colter ducks and weaves through skeletal arms, and swinging blades with enough time to release another hook before it can be boarded.
Jana's cover fire flies wide and nearly hits Colter, you see a nervous smile stretch across her face as the smoke from her enchanted bolts clears.
Pafarens dagger turns end-over-end through the air, eventually connecting with the captain. The dagger sinks deep into his stomach but the captain doesn't even flinch. He smiles, pulls the dagger out, and throws it back at Pafaren. While the dagger flies toward Pafaren the Captain draws his inky black saber and swings wildly at Grimnir. He lets out a guttural laugh as he slashes.
Dagger to hit Pafaren: 18 Damage: 7
To hit against Grim: 21 Damge: 6
The two skeletons near Colter split up, one rushing toward Jana and the other leveling a swing against Colter

The dagger grazes Pafarens arm, at first you are not sure if it hits, but you see a river of blood begin to run down the sleeve of his robe. While he clutches at his wounded arm a skeleton rushes him, swinging horizontally. Were it not for a quick side step he would have been cut in half, he is able to escape death, but is bleeding from his abdomen and his arm. His face has grown pale as he stumbles away from the skeleton.

Varis parries the attack from the skeleton with his scimitar, then returns the attack with the sword. As he is striking, he hopes that his sword will prove useful in its magical abilities. Though without having uncovered them, he is unsure if he can unlock its power.
You feel the well balanced sword dance in your hand. As you swing the blade toward the skeleton an unfamiliar discharge of magic pulses on impact as the skeleton parries. You notice ice forming along the hilt, soon the entire blade becomes cold to the touch.
If you have it, you can cast detect magic as a free action I think.... ? I'd have to check haha.
I do, but I presumed I couldn't within battle since it is spellcasting (I never got to it before combat--my bad!). But you're the DM, if you allow it as a free action, I'd definitely do so.
