((in combat, just to keep things clear, Harq will nearly always use booming blade, which does extra dmg on hit, and dmg (currently 2d8) if they move. He will also step back afterwards (special skill, doesn't provoke AOC) hoping that they will follow, to cause the BB hit.))
Harq says "I still don't know why those damned wizards are such cowards... but here we go!" and runs up towards any orc that is slightly separated from his group to engage one-to-one. ((following the guide above please))

Brodan You cast your spell, causing an explosion of sound that hits all of the orcs.
20 9 14 4
Only one of them manages to cover his ears in time, reducing the damage he takes to 7. The others take the full 15 damage.
Surge effect: 80
The boom also hits everyone in the party, but instead of hurting any of you, it creates a sense of weakness, like the smallest injury could kill you. For the next minute, everyone is vulnerable to (1) slashing damage.
Harq You run forward with your full 30ft and you thrust your rapier forward, piercing through the orc’s armor, dealing 21 damage. You immediately jump backwards, and as you do so, an orc swings his axe at you. You guide it away with your rapier and safely escape their range.
Helena You run forward at the same time as Harq, with only about 10ft between you two. You attempt to assassinate one of the orcs, dealing a total of 23 damage.
Kronk You charge forward at the same time, making a deep rumbling noise as you giggle with glee. You swing your club at an orc’s head twice and bash it to deal a total of 20 damage.
Lia You attempt to climb the roof of a nearby building. You climb up the wall and you try to heave yourself up to the top, but a small part of the roof crumbles under your hands and you begin to fall.
Dex save: 10
You manage to get your grip quick enough, so you aren’t any closer to the ground. You can try to climb up again on your next turn, and if you succeed with Athletics, you can shoot with your crossbow.
Orc Wave 1 The orcs look really mad, especially after one of their companions is killed by Kronk. They each attack the person in front of them, with one moving 5ft to reach Harq. Since it’s a 3v3 on the frontlines, the orc that caught Kronk’s arm attacks him instead. The one to his right attacks Helena.
Attack on Harq: 8 Damage: 8 Attack on Kronk: 23 Damage: 5 * 2 for slashing vulnerability Attack on Helena: 8 Damage: 9 * 2 for slashing vulnerability Attack on Kronk #2: 23 Damage: 14
The orcs attack almost in unison. Kronk is attacked twice, but is only hit once, slashing him across the chest. Helena is hit by the sharp blade of the greataxe, creating a gash on her side. The orc attacking Harq misses and takes 9 damage from moving towards him. The curse causes him to seize as he moves forward and the body drops to the ground, dead.

With a lustfully and bloodthirsty roar, Kronk will bash left and right, one blow each to two different orcs.
Attk. 2523 Dmg. 14. 17 (+2 for Rage included)
He will ensure he does not get trapped beyond the support of the others in the party; moving back into a defensive line if necessary to set for the next wave. If he has time he’ll sever an orc’s head and, as the next wave nears, lift it aloft and bit it’s face off. “Yar, I be wantin’ yer face next!” He roars in his most intimidating manner, shaking the ruined head and then hurling it into the next rank..
OCC Are you making the attk rolls? When I just posted Kronk had no action in #467, just a blank, which is why I though it was his turn and posted as I did. Sorry if I’m confused a bit.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
Panic is a mechanism that strengthens the gene pool.
After the explosion of sound from Brodan makes her feel vulnerable and the attack against her causing more damage to her than she expected, Helena becomes more cautious, disengaging from the orc and running as far back as she can. She sheathes her rapier and takes out her shortbow, deciding to attack from range instead. "What in the nine hells was that, Brodan!?"
(I just realised I can't make a bonus action attack with my dagger since Rapiers aren't light weapons. My bad, I won't do that from now on. You can retcon the damage from her dagger in the previous round. Also, we haven't encountered any magic surges in this campaign before, have we?)
"Don't be blamin me. Inaimed the damned thing not to hit any of us! Something about this place is messing with me magic!" Brodan yells tomher as he growls out a curse.
Is there anything nearby that Lia can climb up on for high ground to shoot from?
You can try to climb up one of the buildings. The orcs are charging at the town, but there’s no destruction yet.
Lia moves to climb a building she believes will give her good line of sight for ranged attacks.
(Anything left of my action after that?)
If needed, Athletics: 5
(Whoops. Sorry for the delay.) Helena runs forward to one of the orcs, trying to dispatch it quickly.

((It was blank because I was working on it. I’m also doing some work so I was on and off.))
See #467 for what happened during the round. I will add a map to this post in a few minutes.
Ah. Kronk will be a bit disappointed he doesn’t get to fling an orc head around, sigh (for him).

Helena will use her reaction to halve the damage against her. (Is it our turn now?)
