"So what you're saying is that he-"Helena gestures to Kronk with her head. "-is artificial and that's how you know he's a creation of your former student? Well, my next question will have to be how do you know that he's artificial?"
“The stitches holding its body together are a dead giveaway, for one.” He points at Kronk. “It is a being of magical origin, and here is your proof.” He crouches down and basically slaps the ground with both his hands. All of the candles lighting up the pocket dimension are immediately snuffed out. A few things glow, however: a crystal on Lia’s neck, Brodan’s staff, Loqar’s reincarnated body, and Kronk’s entire body. Unlike the others, Kronk’s glow is a much darker color.
"You said you had someone who might know something about the book with a crystal like this on its cover." Lia reminds the stranger. she holds up her crystal again. She had not paid much attention to the discussion around their companion's origins, since she frankly could care less.
“Nothing do with Kronk, self belongs self.” The rumble that issues from Kronk’s throat could as well be coming from a lion crouching over a fresh kill. He regards Lohar with deep suspicion.
”Foolish they hurting Kronk to try!” He shakes his head.
”Many beings have tried to destroy me and all have left their bones moldering in the earth.”
Kronk seems, surprised at his last outburst.

Panic is a mechanism that strengthens the gene pool.
Loqar opens his mouth to talk to you, then stops. He turns to one of the nearby scholars. “I just received a message from Syriol. The orcs are coming for another raid.” He looks at you all. “Ideally, we should be dispelling the magic holding your friend together. Go and stop their invasion, and in return, we will let it leave alive.” He rushes you to another teleportation circle. “This one is permanent. If the orcs overrun the village, they will have direct access to here.”
"I will aid you once you tell me about this book and crystal." Lia says with a shake of her head. "Tell me now and I will agree to aid you in repelling these orcs."
Loqar looks to Lia, “I know nothing about a book. The crystal, however, seems familiar. I’ll see if I can find any information about it while you are gone.” He turns to Harq. “Magic is an important part of our world. Something in the Orclands is corrupting and twisting it. If we go there, we will certainly die. You all are not as magic-reliant as we are. If you do not wish for an entire village to be burnt to the ground, please go.”
"Kill some of the pig faces eh? Damned things liked to try and raid the halls of me clan. Me and the rest of the magic users took care em. Although I guess me old friend Rekuberk would be a bit upset ifin he heard me call his mum's Pepe that..." Brodan says with a shrug before he slams his staff on the ground and smirks. "Point me at em."
The party walks through the teleportation circle, and right as Lia is whisked away, she hears “You have 10 minutes to stop the orcs before we close the portal for our safety.”
You are all teleported to Syriol, a small village in the desert. You can immediately hear many loud roars coming from the north. You were taken to the opposite side of the village.
Oddly enough, Helena follows Kronk's lead, making her way through the village quickly but keeping an eye out for any enemies. She reminds Kronk, "We have a time limit so we need to be quick."
"Aye, but no horde jumpin' needed into, kill so only many in short timeses." He grimaces ferociously, "Count besides how faces many Kronk biting off, heh, heh, heh...slurp."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.

Helen's brows raise in surprise. "Huh. Okay. You got me there... what exactly do you intend to do with him?"

Harq just sighs saying "It has been a long night... and now some orcs?! You all seem capable enough of dealing with that type of force. Why send us?"

"Very well."Lia says, glancing to the group. "Shall we?" she asks, turning to move to the task at hand.
Kronk's mouth turns up into a truly horrid grin, his teeth looking, if anything, larger and sharper. "Kronk loves livers Orcs, yum."

"Kronk be funning more, orc t' die timing." Kronk will move into the village, using the buildings as concealment until he can see what is going on.
OCC How many orcs are visible? He doesn't plan on rushing into an entire clutch of the things willy nilly.

Panic is a mechanism that strengthens the gene pool.
With a quick movement of his hands, Brodan casts Shatter on the orcs, trying to hit as many of them as he can.
Those it can hit need to make a DC 15 Con save or take 10 or half if they pass.
Harq, Helena and Lia? You all get your turns before Wave 1 so you’re free to go together.
