Cora You give Malyra a potion of healing and wave your hand, hurling the flaming sphere into the bandit, killing him.
Zadoris You see Malyra hit a bandit with her spiritual weapon. You then quickly move to the last crossbowman, dancing around corpses in your way and you swing your longsword as you yell. The crossbowman doesn’t even notice you until the last second, and you can see the fear in his eyes as he falls limp, with a thump.
Eira Time suddenly slows down. You notice all the dead bodies on the ground and you see Zadoris cut down the last crossbowman. You nock two arrows, and shoot both arrows at once. They fly away from you, rapidly getting closer to their marks. You hit the two remaining bandits (SB1 and SB2), pushing SB1 back a little distance with the extra power in the attack. They both fall, an arrow sticking out of each one’s chest.
You have slain each and every bandit that blocked your path, and are now free to continue to Cython. Is there anything any of you would like to do before we go on?
Eira let's out a shaky sigh. "Oh... why did they have to say that... now I feel bad..."She walks around the bodies, collecting up as many of her arrows as she can before hopping back up on her horse and waiting for everyone else.

Zadoris looks about the area for any more possible threats. Seeing none, he swipes blade spattering blood droplets off of it and then bends down and wipes it clean on the dead man's shirt. He then slides it back into it's sheath. "Is everyone one okay?" he calls out and does a head count of everyone. Seeing that they are all moving about, he turns back to dead man. Bending down he searches the man. Looking for any identification, gold, and weapons. He will then return to the cart with them and do the same with the others. "The weapons we can sell or donate to the guards at Cython."
“Lady Malyra! That was awesome! Are you alright? First you were like-“ Cora mimics the sound of a mace smashing down a few times. ”- and then you went PSSSHH and knocked that one out! So cooool! Want to take my spot in the wagon for the rest of the journey? We can help heal you and then we’ll get going!

Eira You could only collect half of the arrows you used. You managed to get back 4, as the rest either broke as you pulled them out or you could not find them.
Ethan You searched the bodies of the dead bandits and found 23 gold.
Zadoris From that one crossbowman, you could only find 3 gold. You took the weapons from the dead bandits with you.
Cora Malyra smiles upon hearing your excitement. “Thank you, but I believe you are in worse shape than I.” As everyone returns to their spots (Ethan to his horse and Cora, Zadoris, Zargaroth, and Malyra to the cart), you see Malyra’s dagger wound begin to close with the potion’s magic.
Malyra When everyone begins moving again, those inside the cart with her can hear her mumbling. You can’t make out much besides the name Pelor, which would make sense considering the golden mace is his weapon of choice. About 10 minutes later, she calls to the merchant woman to stop. She hops out of the cart and turns around so she can see everybody. She quickly continues her muttering before it becomes clear what she was doing. “Pelor, bless us with your light!” A flash of light bursts out from her, consuming you all. When the light fades away, you all begin to feel your pain slipping away as your wounds heal themselves.
You each receive 15 health as Malyra finishes her prayer.
Zadoris listened to the words and felt the wounds he still has start to close up after the burst of light. He gave a slight nod and said, "thank you." After that he closed his eyes, not to sleep but to rest and regather his inner strength. As he did so, he began to hum a little tune from his native region.
OOC: trying to take a short rest if allowed while riding in the carriage.
The halfling mutters to herself like Malyra did, trying to do the fun flashing light thingy she saw and is now 200% sure she can replicate. She waves her hands wildly and makes incantations, trying to channel divine magic through a body built for arcane magic. It culminates in her thrusting her palms forward and...
nothing.
”Aww. I’ll get the hang of it sometime.” she says, laughing.

Zargaroth fell silent after the fight was over. He searches the Bandits he killed for small personal things like a figurine, a deck of cards or lucky charms. (Investigation 17). He puts whatever he can find into his backpack and then takes his place in the back of the cart.
The party arrives at Cython. As everyone gets off from either their horses or the cart, you look around. It looks like a fishing town. There’s a wharf on the other side of town, clearly visible from where you all are. You can see people sat down at the dock, spending their time fishing. There is an overwhelming and unescapable smell of fish that the townspeople seem accustomed to. They’re not bothered in the least. Despite the strong scent of fish, there’s also an underlying smell of alcohol coming from the tavern to the right of the town entrance. The woman merchant gets off the front of the cart and thanks you all, a little loudly. She retrieves a pouch and plants in Eira’s hands.
Eira now has 20 gold, which you can divide or use as you see fit.
"Well my Lady, where is this ship of yours." Ethan asks with a courtly bow. "Do we leave at once, or do you have business to attend to before we depart?"
Malyra smiles and lets out a sheepish chuckle. “I do not have my own ship, no. But Mister High-Hill recommended looking for someone, a...Captain Rhond? He spoke a bit too quickly, but I believe this captain takes travelers to the other side of the sea in exchange for payment. Any idea where this captain may be?”
Zadoris listens to the conversation and pipes in. "If it's a sailor you check the docks, if it's an off duty sailor, you check the tavern." He points to the tavern. "There is one there, should we check first?"
The fisherman looks towards you. He has a short, trimmed gray beard and is wearing a brown coat.
In a crackly voice, he says “Rhond? Don’t know if he’s here, but if you don’t got no clue, go check the tavern by the town entrance. He likes drinkin’ there and tellin’ stories about how he sunked an attackin’ pirate ship. Now go bugger off and let me catch some fish.”
"Thank you for that information." Ethan says with a nod to the man. He glances to the others and smiles. "Well, shall we head to this tavern then. Probably as good of a place to start as any other."

Ethan will split the gold he finds evenly with the others of the group.
"Thank you my lady." Ethan says when the healing magic was cast on the entire group. He sits up a bit easier in the saddle as his wounds are mended.

((You guys are almost there anyway. It isn’t long enough for a short rest.))
“Thank you! That’s super nice of you!”
(I wonder if I can do that too. Hmmm...)

Zargaroth
You find a key, but it’s covered in rust and seems unusable.

What will everyone do?

Zargaroth spent the cart ride staring at a little rust covered key in his hands, moving his lips as if he was praying silently.
Now he listens to Malyra and Zadoris and nods.
“I’ll just ask one of the fishermen.”
He walks over to the closest fisherman.
“Hello friend, could you tell me if Captain Rhond and his crew are in town?”

Eira splits the coin equally amongst the group.
As Ethan mentions the tavern, she nods with a smile. "And we can get some food and drinks as well!"
