Vegeta looks annoyed but admits, "I don't like it but it may be our best chance. Frieza is egotistical and he absolutely hates those that defy him. He will be more focused on me than Earth. He will eventually come to claim this planet but if his initial scouting party sees that I am not here, he will try to take over and if that fails, he will put conquering Earth on hold and focus on finding me. That should buy your "Friends" some time. He would especially be inclined to leave Earth alone since he has his brother to worry about."
Shepherd says to Nolla, "Girl, I don't know what world fightin a ****in army is a good thing but I understand what you sayin. So we goin to space now, is what you're tellin me?"
Shepherd looks up at the blue sky and says, "You know, I always wanted to go to space." He then looks down at his SMG and says, "I should probably get myself a bigger gun."
"I was wondering why you brought that small of a one along this time around." Nolla says with a grin for Shepherd. She then glances up the sky as well. "Can't say I ever wanted to go to space, but oh well..."
Dakon is about to respond when Raki interjects. He follows the conversation as it continues. He hates to admit its merit but does. "That would be better. And buy us more time." He turns to his parents. "Frieza would not expect a fight brought to him."
Delta gives Dakon a hug and says, "I'm glad you're coming with us." At this point Piccolo flies up to the group and says, "If you're planning to go to space to create a second base to fight this Frieza and his army, I suggest you wait a month. I am coming with you." Vegeta asks, "Is that right, Green man? What makes you think we want to take a weakling such as yourself with us." Piccolo calmly responds, "If you're fighting a war, you will need every man you can get. And besides," He glances around at Raki, Nolla and Shepherd, "I doubt a good chunk of your "volunteers" have their own means to get off the planet. We can prepare a ship but it will take a bit. Give us a month. Judging by how long it took you to get here, I doubt Frieza will arrive within that time." Nappa adds, "Vegeta... do you think he might be right?" Vegeta admits begrudgingly, "Fine! We will wait here for a month and then take you and whoever else wants to go with you."
So, as it stands right now, everyone is going to space and will make a new base. They will wait a month as per Piccolo's request. What are you doing during that 1 month.
Dakon and his parents will make preparations with regards to their lives, telling friends and works that they are going on long holiday. Just trying up all loose ends if worse comes to worse. And remembering life in space and what they need to take for that.
Raki would go to the Other World and see if Saike Demon or his superiors have any news. He would also spend time training there and trying to spread awareness to mobilize the Kai's to prepare in case of a war coming to this part of the galaxy.
Raki, the Kai's express that they no longer wish to remain involved in this conflict... at least for now. They wish to remain neutral and so none of them are mobilized. You can still keep Saike Demon though.
Raki is disapointed after hearing the Kai's choice to remain neutral in this matter. But understandable that they do not want to risk lives to fight a war in another part of the galaxy. He will make his preparations and ask Saike Demon to come with him.
Raki is determined to stop this threat, even when their numbers are so few.
Gundar tells Dakon, "The prince (who is staying at Dakon's place by the way) says that he knows a planet that would make for a good base. Hey says that it has various ruins that we can use as our base." Delta comments absentmindedly, "Ruins huh? What do you suppose happened to the original inhabitants?" Gundar just shrugs.
"I can guess. How else would he know of it? But no matter. We must do what we can. It's nearing the time. I don't know if any of the equipment we have still works. Or if there is a way to even use it without signals being sent back."
At this point Nappa walks in and joins the conversation. He says, "Actually, the people with the Green Man and the guy in the orange gi said they have a single spaceship that can take all of us. Vegeta thinks that would be the best way to travel since then we can use our own Saiyan pods as decoys. I agree with him. He's very smart." The big Saiyan General then pauses and turns to Dakon to say, "If you're thinking we had something to do with the original inhabitants' extinction, you are wrong. We found the planet deserted with ruins left behind. We have no idea what happened but the technology seems pretty advanced. None of us know how to use it."

"Seems like it." Nolla confirms to Shepherd.

((since we never said what we did with Raditz's ship, what did happen to it?))
You left it so it was taken by Earth's equivalent of Area 51.

Nolla will try to do some more recruiting, with Shepherd's help. Otherwise she would just be training and trying to increase her own powers.
Raki would go to the Other World and see if Saike Demon or his superiors have any news. He would also spend time training there and trying to spread awareness to mobilize the Kai's to prepare in case of a war coming to this part of the galaxy.

"Can we think where in this system would be a good base? How far away from Earth is best? Or did that one sound like he had somewhere in mind?"
(Who are you asking that to?)
((sorry. Dakon is talking to his parents.))
