"Where are you off to? Setting more traps? Stay over here." Lem says, eyes darting to the kobolds moving north, and hoping the others can take care of the kobolds that haven't fled.
His arm rises and a mote of flame darts off at the kobold at J12.
(I need to adjust the map, but those kobolds are on the move. No matter, your turn still works)
Lem attempts hurl a flame at one of the kobolds, but it ducks out of the way. The flame goes over the kobolds shoulder, almost igniting one of the cages against the far wall.
Zashier actually looked torn for a moment. But in the end, he marched forth with a determined gait, and axe still in hand. "For what it's worth, my scaled friend, this is gonna hurt me a lot more than its gonna hurt you." He said on the approach, much to the kobold's likely disbelief. And while he hefted the axe high as if to cut down the one to the right, the flat of the weapon is brought down on the one to the north, hopefully knocking him out.
Zashier "non-lethally" crunches the Northern kobold (at K17) into a heap on the floor, though if it had been any harder, your nonlethal hit would have killed the little guy. The unconscious kobold lies dazed at your feet, bleeding out onto the stone - stunned, but stable.
Yokini, recovering after being shoved out of the way by the muscular leg of an over-zealous Raddunth, steps out of the stairwell, past the cage (F15), and looks about. Seeing the two kobolds fleeing north, she raises her crossbow, cocks it to make another glowing bolt appear, and fires while calling, "Hold it right there, buck-o!"
Thistle takes in the situation, then looks north, sharply, as one running kobold is downed by Yokini's magical crossbow. "No you don't," she says as she takes off at a dead run, vaulting on top of the first casket, jumping down to the ground and then dancing diagonally across and back like she's avoiding something, coming up behind and slashing at the remaining fleeing kobold!
Move: J14 (casket) for difficult terrain, then K13, K12, J11, K10 for 30' movement! Whew! Bonus Action: Insightful Fighting vs fleeing kobold at K9, Insight 15 vs. kobold's Charisma (Deception). Action: Slash at the kobold! 23 to hit, for 5 slashing damage (add 11 if Insightful Fighting hits)

Kobold's deception: 13
The kobold makes you think he is going to keep running, but he actually stops to face you. You still manage to hit him, and bring him down, but its not as elegant as it could have been.
Raddunth you are up! Two kobolds ready to attack, and one unconscious on the ground at Zashier's feet.
You get the feeling that the kobold that ran from the Ooze room was able to alert the kobolds in this altar room, so they were able to sequester themselves in this room before you arrived. But thanks to Yokini and Thistle, whatever comes next will not have the benefit of the alert of a fleeing kobold.
Also, those of you that saw Thistle's erratic movement might have thought it a bit odd that she didnt just run straight after the kobold. You wonder why she was so elaborate in her movements.

Raddunth moves forward, stepping on a dead kobold, and turns to face one of the remaining kobolds. He swings first with an axe, but the kobold manages to dodge that first swing. However, he was too focused on the first axe, and takes the full force of an off-hand swing as Raddunth's second axe separates the kobold's head from its body.

The final kobold, see his other friend drop, wants to run. You see him cower a bit, then attack the closest thing to him. He pulls his dagger and swings at Zashier (17), but misses wide, opening himself up, vulnerable for an attack.
Lem, you are up! One remaining kobold in front of Zashier.
Lem walks forward, just in front of the unconscious kobold, and begins to cast fire bolt, but stops after he takes in the status of the room.
"You're... more interesting alive than dead, I think. So lay down your weapon and let us tie you up and you can tell us everything about what's going on here. You're not just bandits, are you? What's going on here?"
Lem will ready a fire bolt if the kobold doesn't lay down their weapons or surrender on their turn.
He drops his dagger and sling at your feet, and drops to his knees. In a high-pitched voice, and broken common he says You know..not..what you are...into.
Combat over. and you didnt even need to kill everybody!
There is one unconscious kobold and one surrendered kobold, and a room full of caged prisoners.
Lem steps forward and tries to tie up the remaining kobold. "So tell us. Tell us what we're into."
{OOC: Lem is not the person to be warm with someone like this and play charming good cop, and he's also not the person to notice that there are people in cages who might also be able to talk about what's going on.)
Lem ties up the kobold, who spits at him, saying (again in broken common) "I not tell anything...Froststorm ... take care of you, and if not him....the human, he take care of you. You chose...wrong house to...explore."
Seeing the one surrender, Zashier knelt down at its side as Lem spoke and further encouraged the critter with nods and a holstering of his weapon. Though an initial attempt by Lem to tie him up is met by a grey hand being put forth in an intercepting gesture, followed by pointer finger up for 'One Second'. "Also, if you would be of a mind to, not the situation isn't already stressful enough, could you tell us how to get those folk down now? As I'm sure you and I are both aware, those cages up there are made for comfort, to say the least."

(Thistle did inform us verbally as we entered the room that everything to the north was trapped, right?)
Correct, Thistle shouted a warning, but no specifics.
Raddunth moves to the spot east of where Thistle used to be (K15), to whomp on the kobold to his NE (L14) with two hand axes.

There's a cage right next to Thistle (at L9). If there is someone or something in it, she will crouch down to look.
