"Tact, my friend," says the Prince very quietly to Mindartis.
The faculty invite the Prince and his entourage to have lunch in the staff lunch room. Lintelér sends the message back with Henry.
"You can go, if you like," says Hogthimble to Raven, Del and Quentin. "I can look after the kids and horses and we can buy some lunch at that food stand over on the student commons, there."
Now that the prince is out of sight, the crowd is breaking up, mostly happily chatting over the exciting visit, some less happily.....several activists were so caught up in the moment that they forgot to wave their protest signs. A sadly missed opportunity.

“Don’t skip out on them just because their regular kids.” Quentin warns the halfling before making his way to join the Prince and others. Curiously taking a peek at the signs the protesters made.
"Forgive me Your Highness," Mindartis nods, "crowds like that are not common in the Feywild, and if they did appear it was rather easy to avoid them. At least in the area I'm from."
No, thank ye kindly," says the old halfling to Del. "All that rich people's food is bad for the stomach. One day I'll retire just for the sake of me digestion. And don't you worry about the tykes, I've been raising and training wild colts all me life, a pair of little elfs ain't going to give me any trouble."
As Quentin makes his way toward the great tree that houses the administrative offices, he reads the discarded protest signs. They say things like 'Nobility is a lie, all are equal!' and 'NO PEASANT WIZARDS! Send em back to the farms!" and 'Legalize Spotted Fey Mushrooms!' and "Lemmet Naica got sentenced to live in the dorms, what are the rest of us being punished for?" and "Save the environment! Stop Experimental Farming!" and "Student Labor is Slave Labor" and "Abolish the House of Leaves: Non-Elves Go Home" and "Free the Azark Twelve!" and "Who is guarding the guardsmen?" Fortunately, the prince's speech (with he help of a little encouragement and inspiration) was exciting enough to make them forget to protest and start fights with counter-protesters.
Prince Lintelér thanks Elwin for the compliment. Over lunch, he discusses how Lemmet Naica is settling in, and if all is well, and everybody assures him very emphatically that everything is fine and lovely.

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
If able to Quentin would like to talk either Teydaar or Beezger about secondary spell books and how they keep theirs safe. Of course also raising his eyes as they assure that everything is fine and lovely, looking to see if there is any signs they aren't being truthful about this.
Del regrets not learning message earlier. If the prince is close enough he'll whisper, or try to get Q to message, You don't want to be told how everything is fine Highness
At Mindartis's question, every wizard near him starts eagerly discussing their own recent experiments. One is working on a 'Dimension Bubble' which allows you to access and move through a bubble of another plane while remaining in the comfort of your own room. ("But so far the bubble is only large enough for a mouse to travel in and sometimes the mouse dissolves..") Another is working on the theoretical spell to enable you to put the entire universe in your pocket. Another is attempting to breed a new type of air fish, that swims through the sky instead of the ocean. Another believes he has discovered a spell to create a self-extinguishing forest fire, only nobody will lend him a forest to try it on. There are many other wild experiments obscured in the babble and bragging.
As a member of the Simul family Teydaar was able to crash the Prince's reception, and is here in his finest robes. He admires Quentin's new spellbook, and suggests that he have the old one sealed in a watertight box and have a permanent illusion cast on it to make it look like a solid block of wood or a stone doorstop or something else worthless. "But don't wrap it up in a portable hole or other pocket dimension, whatever you do. I've heard of wizards doing that, and sooner or later they always end up forgetting and tossing it into another portable hole."
Quentin is not quite sure whether the staff are covering something up or just being as reassuring to the Prince as possible.

Mindarits just smiles and nods along like he's following any of what the wizards are saying, head spinning with ideas that not even his sister would probably be able to understand. "I see, I see... what made you decide on that project in particular?"
The babble around Mindartis becomes even more obscure as the wizards all talk over each other about previous projects that led to these ones, or ancient bits of lore they pieced together, or great wizards of the past who began the groundwork for the spell, or getting the idea in a dream after a night feasting on pickled ankheg eggs.
