Quentin finishes his ritual and wanders through the rooms. There is a very faint sparking of an aura around the experimental potatoes, but barely visible. Something does seem to be giving off a strong glow from within the cot.
From the mole tunnel, you hear voices and booted feet approaching...

The stacks are stuffed with chicken feathers--apparently rough pillows. Bits of downy fluff are now floating around the room.
Del goes down the corridor, the last unexplored doorway. You didn't see which way they went, but this seems like the only available exit. It goes a fair distance...in places, the boards lining the ceiling or walls have given way, but any debris has already been pushed aside to keep the path clear. Eventually you come to a door, the inner latch hook dangling loose. The door leans back toward you--if you choose to open it, you will be pushing up as well as out.
Back at the still, you can hear impressed voices outside the hole, where five armored elves are surveying the body of Megamole with awe. "Look at the size of that thing!" one says with awe.
One elf steps into the room, looking around. "Are you the ones who took down that monster?" she asks. "Impressive work, the kingdom owes you a debt. Sergeant Kellart, Queen's Guard. We can take it from here."

"Very well." Raven says, giving the elf a nod. "Can I ask you a question though, before I head out?" She glances to the mole and then back to the elf. "My father lives in the Fens, do you have any idea what is going on there? I am worried, since he sent me a letter, asking I not come to visit him like I normally do..."
Del gets an idea - A debt, you say - we were going to catch a coach, but this battle leaves us short of time and in need of rest. Is there lodging? Dinner?

"I could stand for a hot meal and a good night's sleep," agreed Elwin. He turned to the elf guard. "You might want to see where that door good Del found leads to, though. Seems we've had our share of fun for the evening!"
"I'm sorry to say, I'm not really sure what's going on in the Fens," the sergeant says as the other guards enter and start searching. "The Court of Whispers doesn't share much with outsiders, and a lot of our, um, 'private' sources have gone quiet lately. They are right on the edge of the worst gnoll territories, of course, but I wouldn't think that would be anything new."
"Sergeant!" a guard calls from the other room. He comes out, and hands her the signet ring and the papers. Another guard breaks open a few of the sealed crates to reveal filled, corked bottles, with the Satyrday Night Fury labels affixed to them.
"Naica," the Sergeant says after a glance at the ring. And after the papers, "Looks like someone has a side hustle going on. Oh, this is going to get very ugly." Looking back at the party, she says, "I hope you have no plans to leave the kingdom in a hurry. You may be called on to give evidence."
In response to Del's question, she smiles and says, "My guards and I will probably be stuck here half the night. But Lonvari Simul is out there, and I'm sure he would be happy to reward you. You probably saved the school from a lot of embarrassment and damage, if not worse."
At Elwin's words, one guard says, "I'm on it," and heads down the corridor.

As our group walks up the mole tunnel Del talks discretely That was a crazy lucky fight - we hit and they didn't - cannot expect that to keep working.
Thoughts on what information we need to share when we get up top? I'd hate to see a feud between the families over what those five bozos were doing. On the other hand, maybe the Naicas and Satyrs did know what was going on and that is why they were so dismissive of their missing kids.
And eventually we are going to need a name for ourselves. Not Feylord and the Four Fools, obviously. The Mole Molesters?

"No. Not that either. And yes....quite lucky. You'l have to think about it though." Quentin says before adding, "By the way, get me a pearl worth about 100 gold and I'm sure I can do that Identify spell. I've found something I'd quite like to know what it does as well."
"Giant slayers?" Raven asks. "We don't have to say it was giant moles we were slaying..." She is clearly teasing as she brushes dirt from her black hair.
Elwin's response to the suggested names ranged from "hmm"s to grunts. While he had a fairly decent idea of where he wanted to go in his adventuring career, he'd never actually thought about a group name. "Something appropriate will come to us," he finally said, more on faith than anything else.
Stepping over toward Quentin as they walked, he laid a hand on his shoulder while his other hand presented several coins. Specifically, 5 gold coins. "Here you are, Quent!" he said jovially. "Since we can all benefit from your spell, this'll be my contribution to the cause of getting ahold of that pearl." He smiled as he dropped the coins into Quentin's hand, then stepped back a bit, wondering how long it would take him to notice the grime on his shoulder.
"Why would you have to say something like that?" Mindartis says, "of course we're not spending the night down here."
