"I can hold that ring for now." Raven says with a shrug, taking the ring offered to her. She would be ready to go on to find this camp when the others are.
Eager to try out his new spell, Elwin started the gesture to Message Del back directly... only to remember he needed the appropriate spell components. Suppressing his urge to sulk, he responded back on the bard's own magical "thread", "That sounds reasonable. It would save us a bit of time."
And just as soon as he'd relayed the message back, Elwin realized time was indeed of the essence. He finished wolfing down his food in a few bites, taking a large swig of water to keep from choking. "If you all wouldn't mind then," he said as he stood after finishing, "I'll go ahead and take a quick rest before we head off anywhere." He then left the table hurriedly, and proceeded to walk toward where he thought he'd last seen Sir Rokkeek.
(( Elwin will try to see if Sir Rokkeek knows a knight (or someone else) with a spare component pouch; he'd be willing to pay full price for it, of course. Barring that, he'd ask if he could acquire one nearby, and would seek it out. He's only trying to take several minutes to do this, although if he needs to travel to town and spend more time, he'll do that instead of sleeping for the short rest. ))
Sir Rokkeek promises to ask around, and urges you to get some rest. "Remember, you have another night of vigil, and the tournament afterward."

With the usual collection of travelers and the knights arriving for the tournament, it isn't too hard for Fiskins to find himself a suitable mount. (After turning down Eggric's generous offers to sell his nanny goat for three times its value.) Including saddle, bridle, and a few other useful odds and ends, the bill comes to 40gp. Del proposes we leave all the animals behind and let Skizzix get acquainted and settled for travel. That way we can go quickly, and have the tapestry all for Lemmet, to reduce the amount of mischief he can get into. When we are ready Del can Conjure Giant Owls for a quick trip - we go to where the wagon was and follow what the "High King" called an obvious trail to their camp, still in the air, and swoop down to surround. Hopefully Lemmet has not taken a powder already.

"Shounds goob..." managed Elwin as he tried, unsuccessfully, to suppress a yawn. He was getting used to these hour-long naps. But he knew he'd need a bit more before tonight.
"Anyway," he finally said, smiling as he rubbed his stubbled chin, "ready to go when you all are."
Skizzix promises to have the horses all curried, polished and braided by the time you return! The stablemaster has insisted on Bongo and Laugh Track being chained far from the horses, but they seem content enough gnawing on the bones and offal of the ox that was served for dinner last night. Waggleswort gets a bone of his own, and gnaws it int he stable next to Eggric's goat.
Del summons the owls! You fly swiftly to Yonpinagel, Eggric clutching his owl's feathers in terror all the way. The annoyed owl does a few loops and barrel rolls, but the goblin has all his fingers and toes securely latched to the bird's back. Shortly, you arrive at the spot where the wagon was. It is fairly plain to see the trails leading away from it when on the ground, but it's less obvious from the air. Between Raven's sharp eyes and occasionally landing to find the way again, you manage to follow the path.
In time, you see what must be the camp. There is a large central fire pit, and a few smaller ones off to the sides. There doesn't seem to be any order or method to the camp: it's a random scattering of tents, caravans, hammocks and lean-tos. You can hear some elves playing music in the trees, on lutes, pan-pipes and a makeshift drum. As you approach, a small swarm of pixies eagerly buzzes your owls, and flies back to the camp squeaking with excitement, "They're here, they're here!"

Raven would slip off of her mount as soon as it hits solid earth, not liking the attention of so many eyes on her. It reminds her too much of the assembly and her having to talk before that group. She would slip into the shadow of a tent or something as soon as possible.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Elwin floated down from off the back of his mount, using a few precious seconds of flight time from his boots. Once on solid ground, he walked and stood near Del as he talked, but kept his eyes open for any signs of trouble.
Raven hides in the shadows, unseen by any, as Del and Elwin (and Mindartis?) land strategically spaced out. Elves move in from surrounding areas, taking seats on tree branches facing the central firepit. There is a lot of excited whispering.
When you ask for the High King, one of the pixies asks, "Which one?" and the gathering audience laughs uproariously, a couple of elves even falling off their branches.
Lassilar appears, finally, and says, "I told them you would be coming. Everyone's really excited to see what happens. The guy who's sort of in charge...what did he ask us to call him again? Oh, yes, the Supreme Wizard High Lord. He's in that caravan over there." He points to the largest and least-dilapidated of the vehicles nearby. It seems to even have all four wheels still attached. "Shall I summon his Wizardly Lordship for you?"
A nearby elf mutters, "Possession of property is merely a corrupt ideology kept in place to permit the wealthy and privileged to continue oppressing the truly free...but I would like to have my caravan back, all the same." Another calls out cheerfully, "If any of you indigent vagrants had any coin, I could sell popcorn, if I had any popcorn." Every comment anyone makes is greeted with a peal of laughter. Seems like the pixie dust has been flowing pretty freely around here.
