Elwin walks around the building. It's clear it's been deserted for years. He finds no sign of an old garden or any other buildings nearby. It doesn't seem as if it was a stop on the gnoll trail at all. You may be the first people to set foot here since whoever used to live here moved on. To the north it gets wetter, and you think you will probably come to the river tomorrow.

We can stick a couple arrows or pitons into the wall of this building to hang up the door. Good thought for the milk - I did not even remember the full inventory. This thing is going to be handy Del will check the condition of our crystalized patrons and the rest of the dungeon Are we here for the night? If we have stopped Del will spend some time cleaning out the dungeon to be a better storehouse. I'd like to see about getting the adomination out of our digs, and replacing the water. I think, Lord Quentin, that inside here might be the driest safest place to lay the prince to rest for the night. We will want to keep these foul foals from licking the sugar.

"I think we can rig up some sort of gate at one of these cells can't we?" Raven asks. "Take some of this building and use it for a makeshift fence or gate in front of one of the cells..."
Quentin sets the Prince inside of the building saying, "Let's not make this more complicated then need be. We just simply set up a watch and be careful. I'll try and work out a spell where maybe that won't be as necessary in the future."
Watches work for me. Raven would be spending time, before bed, and whenever she can otherwise, until they move out, tending to the foals, and making horse noises at them, as it seems to calm them down a bit.
Q happily takes the first watch, he stares at the Prince the entire time though, his mind filled with regret but the logical part keeps reminding him that he couldn't have foresaw this.
Okay, at Del's insistence, you guy clear out the Chuul and dump it in the forest--with any luck, it will put those owlbears off the scent if they come after you. With a rope and some of the rubble from inside the dungeon as well as outside, you make a stall for the two foals, who seem to be starting to think of Raven as their new mom. With the dead monster out, the farmers decide that they might prefer to spend the night inside the dungeon as well...they have reservations about getting stuck in there if something happens to you on the outside, but they are not as scared of that as whatever might come out of the swamp during the night.
Looks like most of you will have quiet watches tonight. And don't forget to go up to level 6. I need a perception roll from Elwin, though...

Before everyone settles down, Del is playing bits of melody on all his instruments, using music to probe the weave and figure how spells that aren't sung might be - sometimes he fades into shadow and sometimes images of beasts appear.

I can give news and ask how to restore His Highness. I will try later in the morning perhaps, when he is more likely to be alert. What about this text:

At the end of her watch Raven would go in and spend some time with the foals, making more horse-noises at them and cuddling them each for a long moment, before giving them their rations of milk once more.
When the group is ready to head out, she would take the lead again, scouting the path ahead.
Before we head out How far to your father's, Sister? I could summon flying mountsfor us, for an hour, that could cover almost a day's travel distance. We can get a fast start, or finish the day that way if it turns out we don't need my spells for another reason, even if that is not enough to cover the whole distance. I could do it twice, really - three times but that I'd like to Sendto the Dean to give news and ask about our crystalized guests

You can probably get there by nightfall on foot, if you cross the river safely. Sounds like Del might have the solution to that.

To keep the foals contained Del will lace some rope across the doorway. If they aren't weaned yet they're not chewing through hemp line.
Using Q's density trick, can we get the Chuul corpse out of our walk-in and away from our campsite?
