Catching his breath Quentin looks over to Mindartis and says, "Are you alright? I got overzealous with my magic there and I'm scared I hurt you."

Battle music ends, Del stows his bow and transitions to more calm cool-down music You are each hurt - except for me (he pauses to check for arrows - is that true? huh) but only Lord Midartis gravely. Is that correct? You should take all of our  Goodberries Brother  (the 30 Del made last night)

After making sure all us are out of immediate danger, Del turns his attention to the pixie/sprite/gnome work crew, and the sparkly orb How do we get them to stop? And is that ball holding up the roof, or obscuring from the Restorers, or charming the poor workers, or all three?

Looking where Del is, Eggric says, "Ooooooh," and heads for the pole...

"I don't know but let me investigate and identify and," Quentin suddenly raises his voice saying, "IF YOU TOUCH ANYTHING ELSE EGGRIC I SWEAT TO GODS I'LL BURN YOU TO CRISP IN ANOTHER WALL OF FIRE NOW BEHAVE YOURSELF!" The normally calm elf already having enough of the goblins antics.

Raven starts checking the bodies for anything of interest or value. She would lay it out on the floor in a pile, and nod to the goblin.  "Put what you found there too or we'll consider it trade for the rings and you can explain that to your boss..."

Eggric doesn't look like he takes Quentin's threat very seriously, but he does stop short of the pole, and reluctantly pulls the coin purse out of his pants and drop it on Raven's pile. (He keeps the helmet on.)

All in all, you find around 520 gold's worth of mixed coins on your enemies.  Between the hags, you found a pair of matching moonstone rings worth 150gp each and a diamond ring worth 100.  The two gnoll lords had good quality chain shirts, glaives and longbows that might be worth reselling.

Soldier 13 was carrying a woven wicker hoop. On a roll of 13 or over, it survived the battle. !2 and below, it got shredded in combat. 8

On one of the hags you find the bloody, tattered scraps of a couple of letters. You can make out only scraps of their contents.

The first: "...have no more personnel to spare.  Either get your sister back, or recruit a new third member for your coven. It should not be difficult, you are stationed in the safest, most stable--"

The second: "...off, and stop bothering me.  You know why I left, and I will not return to dance attendance on that" (unreadable) "of a fraud any longer! If she has any real idea of how to revive the Arch Witch, I'll" (unreadable) "ten tons of yogurt, six storm giant's nose hairs, and a yak.  Sugar crystals and sugar golems, my wart-covered"  (unreadable)"concept is ludicrous, and the only reason I would consider returning is to watch it all fail.  If you want to get back together, why not join me" (unreadable) "good coin to be made, and I have a great racket going in the Fens. We could open some new franchises, expand into" (unreadable) "- Auntie Knickerbritches"

 Satisfied that Eggric had been put in his place, Elwin examined the scrapped wicker hoop. "That would have probably been a big help in figuring those out," he sighed, to no one in particular.

After then looking at the letters Raven found, he shook his head, a bit surprised at how their targets considered recruiting another hag to be an easy task. He glanced at the bodies of the two they'd fought. "I really hope they haven't already found another."

Are the workers still working or has offing the bosses brought a work stoppage?

the roof is 20 feet up but domed - 20 feet at peak or at edges? Del gets to where he is within 30 ft range and activates Ziia's Speak with Plants - finding out:

Can the tree communicate at all?

Can it get a message to the druids above ground?

Can it tell me what has been going on?

Can I use the "freely move branches, tendrils, and stalks" part of the spell to protect the roots if I can't get the flitterers to stop harvesting?

Quentin nods and says, "I can. Just make sure nobody else touches it." He replies before starting the identify ritual. 

The workers are still working, casting worried side glances at you, but not slowing down.

The roots start about 20 feet up.  The translucent domed roof goes higher, the roots poke down through it. You can sort of communicate with the roots, but not in detail...they are only part of a plant, and what you feel from them is mostly pain, but the restoration ritual going on above feeds it with the strength to survive.  You can get it to move the thin ends of the roots.

Quentin needs to touch the object to identify it. As he approaches the pole, he finds himself unable to get too near it...some sort of force repels him and pushes him away...or, rather, he is not himself pushed away, but every magical item on his person refuses to get closer to the sparkly blue orb.

Mindartis takes the offered goodberries, before looking around. He watches the workers still working, before going to help Quentin. "Need any help?"

“Uhhh.....yeah. Can you do some quick detection of magic? I.....this field isn’t letting me get close. Or....maybe more accurately repelling my magical items. It’s like they refuse to get close to it. I could take them off. This is just weird.”

Mindartis nods, and closes his eyes, feeling for the magic the orb Quentin is talking about.

Both the orb and the dome overhead glow strongly with the green of abjuration magic.  The sprites, pixies, and gnome children have an aura of silvery enchantment magic around them. You see no signs of magic on any of the looted items or other objects in the room.

"Ya the orbs protected by some kind of abjuration magic," Mindartis confirms. "And all the 'workers' are enchanted somehow. Want me to hold onto your magic items while you try to identify the thing?"

“Yeah. Be careful please. The amulet is from Zanderfell.” Quentin says handing Mindartis his cloak and amulet before trying to get close to the orb again. 

Hearing the report, Del starts playing his Countercharm tune, to see if that works on the nearest workers. He tells everyone With Ziia, I can Remove Curse on one, and Greater Restoration once which will do the same thing. Sir Elwin, could you fly up there and see if you can either get them to stop, or bring one gently down. A pixie would be best - if I can break the enchantment she could help stop the others
