If any of the six hags see you, they don't immediately react.

Quentin has simply ignored Eggric planning on putting the bowling ball in the extra dimensional plane when they get closer. Seeing Elwin in trouble Quentin immediately moves, trying to calculate how far away he is from everything and if the transitive property of cold magic will cancel out the fire.

(How far away is everything?) 

About 50 feet away.

(Is this a small campfire or could Q use Prestidigitation to cut out part of the fire still? Enough for him to get through and to Elwin?)

It's still pretty small.

Suspicious of illusion, Del Messages Sir Elwin (or the image of him) On our way. How many hags are there?  Any other baddies? Where are they?

Elwin is cheerfully walking/flying back to the hall when he gets an unusual message.

The image of Elwin and the hags vanishes suddenly!

The first roll (+3 more) was Lemmet's stealth roll, the rest were camoflage.  Lemmet is gone.

You suspect that the parts of the mumbling which weren't swearing and grumbling were a spell, and the components were in his pocket. And the images vanished when Lemmet got out of spell range. (Heh, I waited for you to post because I had a feeling Del would be the one to catch what was going on, if anyone. XD )

That effing kittenhead Del curses I predicted he would escape only to show up in our adventures again (because that is how stories work) but I figured we'd get him to custody first, and some incompetent someone or other would be at fault. Leave it to a bunch of amateurs...

I for one do not care to go on a wild Lemmet chase right now. Can we just go see Tagrec?

Mindartis very much looks like he wants to go on a wild Lemmet chase, and breaths heavily through his nose, "Let's just go," he finally says.

You make your way back to Yonpinagel, the band of fools laughing, joking, dancing and playing music in your wake. As you travel on, some of them get bored, or hungry, or distracted.  By the time you reach the city, you are followed only by three elves, a centaur, and a small cloud of pixies.

You arrive at the shaved ice shop to find Tagec, very slightly disguised in a gnomish hood, putting up signs saying, "Going Out of Business Sale: Everything Must Go!"

"Ah, you're back," he says.  "Got my rings?" 

"of course."  Raven says, collecting them from the others and moving to the shop.  "Got our information?"

Tagec nods. "Come in."

Soon you are all crammed into the tiny store, Eggric whispering urgently into Tagec's ear in goblin as you assemble. Tagec says a few words in response, waving him away.  Eggric crosses his arms and looks annoyed.

"All right, the hags. As you know, nobody's ever been able to organize them but the Arch Witch. Well, after she was captured, someone stopped them from falling apart. A green hag named Annie Bracken claimed to be the Arch Witch's secret apprentice, and told the others she had witnessed the capture, and knew how to break her out.  I don't know how much of any of that is true, but the hags seem to be going along with it in the hope that she is the genuine article. Maybe she is, from what I hear she knows a lot of extremely powerful spells, and invented those sugar monsters you met. If she fails to bring the Arch Witch back, though...I wouldn't want to be in her shoes."

"That's about all I have on the hags. I told you I'd have extra information to trade you if you have anything interesting to tell me. So, spill.  Do you know anything worthwhile? And don't bother telling me about Feegle, Eggric already told me you have his bowling ball, so I assume the hags got 'im."
