While the tapestry was open (either moving merch with Tagrec, or later at the Hall) Del stores some of his extra gear. Why carry around all these weapons when music is so powerful.

At the bank, assuming one that he can also access from Free and Slate City, he'll set up an account with 1000 gold (20 pounds). That should leave plenty for expenses when not in a city.

Then back to the Hall as soon as others are ready, or after whatever fun anyone can think up. He will engage in some training with B&LT Animal Handling 20 or if he is helping Skizzix or being helped the extra d20 is 5 adding appropriate modifiers. And Del will also get a bath, it has been a while, and perhaps the pre-tournament dinner will have the fancy people. Dressing nice and ready to play.

Quentin declines riding on top of a hyena. Instead he attempts to explore the cities outside of the hall. (The one we helped after the storm.) Looking for a store that might have any spell scrolls, material components, or anything else a wizard might find useful. 

Okay, after a little banking, the party returns to the hall and their suite, tip-toeing past Elwin's room so as not to disturb his snooze.  Raven and Del have baths drawn and can relax.  Afterward, Raven writes a letter, and Del works on the torn puzzle that he found in the hag house. 

It turns out to be a very strange-looking map indeed...

Quentin wishes to do a little shopping at Cranes.  Flying your owls from the town and over the cliff saved all from you trudging down the long, winding cliff roads for a good part of the day.  Do you have a travel plan for getting back up there?  It's about noon by the time you guys arrive back at the hall, he would arrive at Cranes quite late if Quentin was to go up the cliff on horseback. (By the way, your fool followers camp outside the Hall and cheer and start up the music again every time you appear.)

 Del can summon owls again to get back quickly, and if there is time left on the hour Q can take an owl and Del promises to try not to lose concentration

Mindartis cracks his knuckles, angry that Lemmet got away and more upset that he didn't get to beat on anymore hags. After taking his own bath, he goes looking for somewhere to do some training.

Mindartis can find lots of people to train with!  The courtyard is filled with knights of the hall and visiting knights, all eager for tomorrow's tournament. Flitterbug sits on a weapon rack to cheer you on.

((It's about half an hour to fly by owl to the Cranes, if Del summons an owl for Quentin.  On the return journey, he could look for anyone traveling to the hall for the tournament and try to get quicker transportation.  Otherwise, two bouts of 10 minute flying (I see you have two slots open) would let you skip a LOT of winding back and forth down the steep slope, and you could probably make the return journey on your own in about three hours.))

After some successful hyena training, map assembling, and body washing, Del gets into some of his newly expanded finery and makes his way to the common areas. He will catch Elwin up with the visit to Tagrec, and hand over his 400gp share, whenever we meet up.

He will show off the odd picture from the hag's parlor to everyone ((see above, also saved on the doc)) Not much like a map, to my eye, more like an abstract diagram of a spell, or a foreign musical notation, but not really either of those. A map that includes travel across the planes? Perhaps time travel, like Masters Styles and Thanacles' pursuit of the Arch Witch? I cannot detect it encoding a language in any event (having tried Comprehend Languages)

As the dinner hour approaches, and the party regroups with Elwin and tells him the story of their day...a screaming, blood-covered pixie zips into the hall.  "Come quick!" she shrieks in an ear-piercingly high-pitched wail. "I think his Most Esteemed High Grand Wizardly Holy Monarch of the Miraculously Immaculate Wardrobe may be DEAD!"

How far? Where? Del manages as he leaps to his feet and starts following out of the room

 "By the lake, by the lake!" she whizzes back out.

A few of the others arriving for dinner have heard the pixie and look uncomfortable, but some are muttering things like, "Did you see how she's dressed?  Court of Fools, obviously. Ten to one it's a prank or some mischief."

Mindartis goes to follow Del

Those who follow the pixie run to the grassy bank of the lake, and find Quentin, barely semi-conscious, his fools standing around him in frozen shock. A long grey arrow protrudes from his back, the flint arrowhead standing out a good eight inches from the front of his shoulder.  He is soaked in much more blood than seems normal for such a wound. The shaft of the arrow seems to have some sort of writing on it.

"Oh get out of the way fools!" Mindartis looks like he's about to just rip the arrow out of Quentin's chest, but pauses and looks to Del for permission.

Raven rushes after the others, then moves in and lays a hand on their friend's shoulder.  Healing power moves from her hand into his body.  Lay on hands for 5 to start.

 Del rushes as well, and since R already did the basic heal ((drat, he has a new healing method to try)), will give a medicine check, with I assume Raven's help to check if the shaft should be cut, plucked, left, or whatever, and if there is something beyond the wound itself going on Medicine 24
