Elwin takes his attack of opportunity -

Attack: 23, Damage, incl. crits: 10

Elwin spotted his chance as the satyr turned to flee! He lunged with his spear, but to no avail.

The warlock's mouth dropped as he regarded his opponent, now running from him after having struck such a vicious blow. "Coward!" he sneered at him, as he stretched out a hand in a arcane gesture--thumb, pinky and index fingers extended--and followed up with another spell.

Elwin will cast Frostbite at the fleeing satyr.

Requires a CON saving throw, DC 13. Damage on failure: 2, plus disadvantage on next attack roll; oh, add +2 damage if that hits, forgot about his Hexblade's Curse!

"Oh no you don't," Mindartis growls, swinging his sword at the retreating goblin.

Attack: 19 Damage: 11

Thistlebum manages to dodge the opportunity attacks by Mindartis and Elwin. (Save vs Elwin's spell-- 4 ) but Elwin manages to freeze his tail as he runs away for 6 points.  (Raven can still post an opportunity attack, if wanted.)

Thistlebum is down!

"Git almost knocked my block off!" grumbled Elwin, sounding almost like a surly youth, as he turned his attention to the other satyr.

Del will try another arrow, at the Boss Satyr this time Longbow 20 if hit damage is 10 Shame on you, sending your lads to get killed like this! and to Q, aside Any guess about that Roffles chat, Lord Quentin?

From last round, if Mindartis wants to use that 1d6 Bless to try and bring his attack up to 14, I will count that as 15 points damage on Patterbole.)

"What are you doing!"  Raven nearly snarls as these new people attack the fleeing one.  "You know you don't have to kill everyone you come against, right?" She sighs as she turns to the one still in combat with them...

She strike sout with both blades, going for non-leathal damage if possible, but trying to take him down.

"You know you're a terrible leader yelling at them like that." Quentin tells the leader before he fires a bolt of fire at them.

Mindartis turns his fury to the apparent ring leader of this group and approaches him, "You must be stupid if you thought that you'd be able to win this fight," he growls in Sylvan, before swinging his greatsword at him.

Patterbole, stubbornly looking for any chance of victory, swings his club at the already-wounded Elwin. Attack: 21 Damage: 5

With Del's arrow in his shoulder and his hair on fire from Quentin's arcane attack, the boss satyr yelps, rolling away under the swing of Mindartis's blade to take cover deeper in the arbor. (Mindartis, you get an attack of opportunity, if you like.)

The boss pops his head up from behind the grapevines to shout in Sylvan, "Where are the rest of you guys?  How dare you leave me out here to take all the risks alone!"

"But, Roffles, listen--"

Switching to common, the boss satyr shouts at you. "You miserable, thieving snakes! First you take my nephews, then you cheat us out of our bargain, and now you've murdered Thistlebum! You may think that you've won, but when you've finished slaughtering poor old Patterbole--" ("Er...what?" Patterbole says) "--know this!  Our fight is FAR from over. Every step you take in every forest, you will hear the sound of satyr hooves behind you!  Every morning you wake up without your throat cut you will recognize as a gift from the gods! And every night, you will tremble with collywobbles as you stare into my vengeful face..." (he lowers his voice to a dramatic growl) "...in your nightmares!"

Mindartis takes another swing with his greatsword while the Satyr was monologueing. "Creatures like you are the reason people don't trust the Feywild."

Attack: 19 Damage: 11

Gasping and clutching at the sword wound, the boss runs off.  You hear leaves rustling from many directions.

Elwin is up, then the rest of the party.

Calling out in Sylvan again... "We don't even know who you are let alone your nephews, and we had no deals with you before this!" She calls loud enough so that anyone else in the area could hear her.  "You attacked us unprovoked and we responded!"

(Not sure if you allow talking when not our turn, but...)

(Yeah, you can talk, but I can't post any reaction till after Elwin's turn.)

This time he was ready. Elwin leaned as the club swing in, and just barely avoided getting struck. Just then he heard the boss satyr start to monologue, saw Patterbole's confused response, and frowned. What was going on here? Were these people brigands or not?

Figuring discretion to be the better part of valor, the warlock decided to attack, but first turned his spear around, in an attempt to not actually kill his new opponent.

ACTION: Elwin attacks Patterbole with both hands on his spear, lunging with the blunt end, non-lethal if possible; Attack Roll: 6, Damage incl. crits: 5

BONUS: If the satyr is still standing, he'll follow up with a non-lethal strike (flat of the blade) from the other end; Attack Roll: 25, Damage incl. crits: 7

ALSO: If Thistlebum is actually dead, and not just down and making death saving throws, Elwin gets +4 HP. Here's hoping he's not dead...

"You and your boss might want to decide what side of the law you're on, friend," spat Elwin. "Attacking people you don't intend to kill isn't good for one's health."

A satyr cautiously pokes his head up from among the grapevines at Raven's words. "I tried to tell him," says the satyr. (You recognize the voice that has been calling 'Roffles.') "I tried to tell you, Roffles, they don't look like Naica's people."

"Hah!" you hear the boss satyr snort. His head pops up briefly. "How can you even tell?  All these elves look alike." He squints at Elwin. "What's wrong with that one's ears?" He ducks down again.

"And that one, with the sun tattoos," the first satyr continues in awe.  "He looks like a Feylord."

More heads pop up from all over the arbor as satyrs stare at Mindartis, whispering, "Feylord...," "Feylord...," "Feylord..."
