Henreid peers into the darkness, stating to his colleagues, "Lycosa says there's a light down there, but I don't see it myself."
Looking down the stairway, Henreid judges the dimensions, "It might be a tight fit for you, girl," Henreid says to Lycosa. "The sooner the better, these stairs are a death trap if we get caught in the middle."
Henreid sends Lycosa behind Requilary, hoping anyone at the bottom decides a Warforged protected by a giant wolf spider isn't worth the trouble. He stays atop himself, intending to cover the party's rear as they descend.
Valar, unable to see this light Malbor is talking about, just wait for the party to do what they're going to do.

Malbor will begin to make his way down the steps, keeping his hand on the handle of his weapon. He will move slow enough to allow those that cannot see as well in the to keep sight of him.
OOC: marching order? Req, Lycosa/Hen, Malbor, and Valar in the rear?
The passage is tight. Lycosa is having a hard time descending. About 25ft down Req steps on to a plate sending a series of clicking noises as air rushes around them.
Lycosa manages to miraculously avoid most of the barriage of poison darts that come raining down on the front of the party! Taking half 9. Immune to poison.
Henreid takes damage 7; Con save against poison DC13
Req takes 6; Con save against poison DC13. You have advantage on saving throws against being poisoned, and you have resistance to poison damage.
The rush of air enters the stairwell from behind as Valar and Malbor are now effected!
Henreid is bleeding profusely, having disregarded his own wounds from the previous to care for Lycosa. Though she managed to dodge many of the darts falling on her, the cramped hallway did not leave her uninjured.
[OOC: Henreid & Lycosa are both at 9 hp, I forgot to heal myself]

Many of the darts simply bounce off Requilary's metallic body, and the ones that make it through both his robe and cover aren't able to poison the warforged (5 damage since resistant to Poison). The damage to his robe is self-repaired.
However, he turns his attention to his other companions.
"Henreid. Lycosa. I sense that you are severely injured. Please allow me to heal you."
[OOC: Requilary won't heal without permission unless in combat (Part of his programming) in case people turn it down. He isn't casting healing spells yet, but if allowed he will cast:]

"We have gone this far. Forward we go," Valar states as he points down the way, "If we are lucky, the undead behind will fall into the traps while we are gone,"

Malbor can see there is a flickering light ahead in the stairwell. It's very dim but present.
Lycosa communicates this to Henreid flashing the dim light on the base of the stairwell she can see.
The rest of the party is in the literal dark the light alluding their notice.
How does the party proceed?
