Henreid makes it to his coin, picks it up, then stands and stretches his back while placing it back into his armor. As he walks back along his own tracks, he finishes his conversation to nobody, "...so he gave me the arrow as a memento, I consider it lucky, which is always good for an archer such as myself. The grease trail leads this way, and I didn't find any traps yet, so I guess I would've lost that wager. Are we following Malbor's tracks or the grease?"
"Let's keep moving to find something before something finds us especially ," Valar whispers, incidating someone else goes first, "As I am unable to see well, maybe the light bearer or something who's eyes pierces through the darkness should lead us," Valar will try to [cast]Prestidigitation[/spell] to clean up their footsteps they leave behind.

The room is vast and dark. The high ceilings make each movement and word echo into the vaulted areas carved stone as well. The floor is carved tiles. The grease and drag marks follow the same distinct path disappearing into the darkness across the room.

Casting Cure Wounds upon himself, Henreid moves to the front of the the party saying, "Seeing as I do this for a living, I guess I'll take point."
Henreid clicks to Lycosa and points to Requilary, whom she promptly defends. Henreid places his longbow across his body, right shoulder to left hip, and unsheathes his Shortsword. Untying the strap to his handaxe on his right hip for easy offhand or throwing, he takes a defensive stance and slowly follows the tracks. His eyes are constantly darting around, looking for tripwires, pressure plates, or any other indications of more traps. He softly whistles a tune to himself, though his concentration is certainly on his task.
Valar will remains near the back keeping an eye behind them and cleaning up any tracks they leave behind the best he can.

Malbor will be close to the front so that he can serve as shield if needed but he will let those that are better at finding traps to ahead if they want to.
As the party ventures forward across the vast room Henreid doesn't seem to notice the variety of symbols carved on the tile beneath his light foot falls as Malbor's considerable heavier body too depresses several plates at once! Then the entire room seems to move around the party as the floor begins to shift.

The floor beneath the party tilts as Malbor and Req lose their footing falling prone while Henreid, Lycosa, and Valar remain on their feet. The floor tilts 40 degrees as several tiles light up around the party and a rumbling shakes the room around them.

Keeping his arms out to steady himself on the tilted ground, "Come on, on your feet," Valar reaches out to pull up Malbor before looking around for the source of the rumbling sound, "Whatever makes that sounds can't be good,"

Henreid makes one loud popping sound. Lycosa immediately severs her web to Henreid. She hovers over Requilary and reaches her pedipalps on either side of him, both protecting him as well as giving him a way to lift and steady himself. She shadows his movements, allowing him to move but ready and able to assist.
Meanwhile, Henreid looks ahead, peering through the dark for any exit. He's not sure what type of trap this is, but he's sure any direction is better than down.

Malbor will get to his feet if he is able to, cursing to himself and ar the traps that seem tomcover every inch of the place. As hendoes so hentomwill loolmaround tomtry and find a way to make the place steady.
Henreid and Valar can clearly see the pattern in tiles now that remain unlit. It's a dead center, a floral based symbol that is every other tile stretching across the length of the room disappearing out of sight. Something as large as Lycosa could not move across it without triggering the tilt trap but medium to small creatures could easily proceed forward.
The source of the rumbling Valar surmises was the rumbling of the gears that enacted the trap.
OOC: Lycosa is in tbe ceiling? It's a hundred feet above the party FYI. Mission impossible Henreid sounds cool AF but how far can her webbing stretch?

"Hm. I suggest we follow the drag marks first, then the grease if nothing turns up." Requilary suggests.

Requilary will be second in the marching order so that he can hold a light but still have someone tankier ahead.
