"Tanwar! Tanwar stop this madness! Shake it off, you are better that this," Norak cries out while slamming the butt of his staff on the ground. Ultimately, he believes himself to be the reason the effect ends quickly.
"Now, we must continue on our way. You have all rough well, let this pathetic spirit cleanse you of your wounds." He commands his spirit to lend it's healing to the others.
(It's a lot of d6's if you want m to roll.)
He moves to the scorpion, warily approaching it. He moves his hand to it's head and applies some pressure and makes to walk away. His hand guiding it to follow behind him.
As the bizarre effects of the battle come to an end, the scorpion, under the influence of Norak’s spell, puts Radar down. Kotog grotesquely forms back into an orc. Though he feels no pain, it’s a strange sight to see the leaves turn into muscles and orc skin.
Norak silently tries to communicate with the scorpion, which successfully understands. It follows the way Norak leads.
What’s the marching order like now? I’ll put Kurg in the middle so he’s 3rd or 4th. The scorpion would probably be at the very end, and I assume Norak would be right in front of it..
The party marches on for some time, but pretty soon, the scorpion starts acting up. The effect of Norak’s Animal Friendship spell has not worn off yet, but something else is wrong.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"Wait,"Norak calls out from the back of the line, "The beast senses movement nearby. Wether from below or above be prepared!" Norak gazes around to see if there are any traces of what the scorpion could be feeling.
Your perception and animal handling modifiers are the same so I’m going to take that roll for the latter.
Norak You look at the scorpion for a moment or two as you try to discern what’s wrong with it. You get the feeling the scorpion is uneasy about going any further, but it doesn’t seem to detect any enemies. You watch it shuffle until you realize you’re probably leading the scorpion out of its territory.
Norak scowls but ultimately does what he does best, he lures the scorpion on. It has it's potential to go badly down the road but he is confidant he can break the creature and have it serve him.
Norak coaxes the scorpion onward with stern words and actions.
Norak You take a few minutes to speak with the giant scorpion. The scorpion stands idly, not moving much. It flinches at every few words, but by the time you’re done berating it, it seems to kind of understand. You can’t be certain if it agrees with you, but it’s possible you may have convinced it to join you to acquire more territory.
The scorpion continues to follow Norak, in the same marching order as earlier. After some more trekking through the sand, you arrive at the town. The party is about 60ft away from the village. You can all see a small group of people about 20ft ahead of you, but they don’t see you. Roll for perception and stealth.
Tarth, you hear a slight, very faint little hoot. When you look up, you see a bird flying towards the group of people between you and the town. It’s about 60ft away from you right now, and it’s returning from the town. ((Thanks to your nat20)) You can tell that it is an owl—a tiny, brown one—and as it is flying back to the group ahead of you, you can see it blink 6 times. It has spotted all but one member of your party.
It slowly begins descending, the wings and talons open as if it is going for prey. It perches on the arm of what appears to be a human, but this red-skinned “human” has a tail and two very distinct horns on its head. The owl appears to be communicating with this person, possibly revealing your location right behind him and his allies.
((The plant effect would end during Tanwar’s confusion. Levitate lasts 10 minutes, but you can always lower yourself to the ground.))
If you guys want to rp out whatever you do during Tanwar’s confusion, go right ahead. If not, we can skip it.
"Hey... Uh... Can I get down from here?" Radar says as the scorpion becomes friendly.

Kotog at the back with his mule.
Norak and the Scorpion merge in to the traveling order at the back, he stays close to the beast as they move along.
Tanwar will take the 2nd or 3rd spot, away enough from the scorpion and close enough up front to act as a lookout.

Norak harumphs as the situation dawns on him, "Bah, the beast is merely hesitant to leave it's land. Shall we subjugate it or release it?"
"I say let it be. Better than trying to force it along and have it turn on us later."
So are you going to leave the scorpion or try to keep it with you?
