It takes another twenty or thirty minutes for Uragum to complete his meditation. Once he rises, the group departs the lighthouse. A stiff breeze greets you outside, blowing the door slightly into Ola as she exits.

OOC: Moonsea Cults has been added to Ola's inventory. Uragum has gained the benefits of a long rest.
Where are we headed now? The West Tower has been posited but not confirmed yet.
A quick jaunt to the west end of the island brings you to the West Tower. Inside, the main floor appears empty save for dust and cobwebs. Down a long set of stairs, the smell of wet, freshly-turned earth preludes the sight of earth and tile stacked neatly along the walls. Somebody has broken open the floor and dug down into the stone.
Digging tools lay scattered about the room. Thee is a severed rope tied to a ring in the wall leading down into the hold, where a stone slab prevents access further downward. Three other 50-foot coils of rope lay on the floor beside the slab, one slightly burnt.
The stone slab, approximately 10 feet to each side, is bordered in worn glyphs, and has an indentation in the shape of a human hand approximately six inches away from the leading edge.
"This is the stone and entrance. Not the hand print, pretty runes, and ropes for climbing. Now everyone stand back and ready and I'll open it... maybe. Then we can go down if all seems safe." He says.
After a moment he clears his throat dramatically, places his had on the imprint and clearly and deeply booms out, "Toe Mono, Toe Megalo!" And then waits.
The slab vanishes into nothingness, and the passage it reveals drops down into darkness. Musty, moist air wafts up from the void. Without light, only Sylyra and Zelra can see further.
For Sylyra and Zelra:
The room below appears to have a finished, tile floor, though you can only see around a 10-foot square of tiles from this vantage point.
Uragum adjusts his robes a little and says, "Now remember those words. Might have to do the same thing to exit. Now then should we drop a torch down and start our descent?" he asks.
If Sylyra judges the distance to the floor to be 20 feet or less, he'll go ahead and jump in before the rope is tied and dropped in. Otherwise, he'll use produce flame to light one of his torches, drop it through the hole, and then wait his turn to climb down the rope. If he does jump down, he'll immediately look around to see what he can see. If the space is too large for him to see adequately, he'll use produce flame to create a light in his palm to hopefully light the area enough to see all around.
"Hey, there's a perfectly good ring on the wall we could use to attach rope to. Lets just hope whatever happened to that rope doesn't happen to our one..." Zelra walks to the severed rope on the ring and examines how it was broken.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Sylyra leaps into the hole before any light can be tossed into it, taking 6 bludgeoning damage in the process. Zelra examines the severed rope. The others are still unable to see into the darkness below.
For Sylyra:
The hole you entered bores through about five feet of solid rock before emptying out into a room approximately 40 foot by 50 foot, with a low ceiling about 10 feet high (in total, the fall was about 15 feet). While the floor is stone, it is covered by a layer of thin mud, within which you see tracks of a number of other people heading through a corridor to the north, which appears to be the only exit from the room aside from the hole in the ceiling.
The corridor is partially carved out of a natural cavern, and has a gentle but noticeable decline. It is chilly and moist here, and the floor is muddy, uneven and slippery. It smells of mildew and rot, and the sound of dripping water can be heard from ahead.
For Zelra:
The rope has several strands dangling from the spot at which it was severed, indicating that it was torn or pulled apart, not cleanly separated.
Arnald pulls his tinderbox and a torch from his pack, lights up the torch and replaces the tinderbox. Holding the torch over the edge of the hole he looks down and whisper yells, "Sylyra, you ok? What do you see?"
"Can't let Sylyra have all the fun. Time is wasting." Uragum calls out and then grabs one of the ropes and lowers himself down into the hole. He will hold out one of his torches to Sylyra and say, "Got a light?"
"Oh damn... this rope broke because it was pulled apart..." As the others begin to make their way down, Zelra sighs. "As much as I like jumping into holes that lead into the unknown darkness, I also value my legs and life so let me just..." She examines the wall of the hole to see if it's possible to hammer pitons in and if they would hold well. If so, she'll tie a rope around the ring and her body, lowering herself down the hole, hammering pitons into the wall along the. If its not possible, she'll just lower herself without the hammering, muttering to herself, "Please don't snap, please don't snap."
"Nothing here, but a door," Sylyra calls up to Arnold as he uses produce flame to light Uragum's torch. He looks up the hole. "The severed rope reveals the possibility we won't be able to leave once the slab returns. Theoretically, whoever created the barrier wouldn't have made an entrance which is one way only, but should we test the theory before we all enter and are all therefore trapped?"
OOC: Removed a torch from Arnald and Uragum's inventories and removed 2 pitons from Zelra's inventory. I'm assuming that Uragum is tying a rope to the ring on the wall before descending.
Arnald's torch casts dancing shadows below, on what appears to be some sort of room with a finished, tiled floor. Ola, Uragum and Zelra each descend safely, with Zelra's rope now attached to the solid rock wall that the hole bores through.
Arnald remains at the top of the hole.
For Ola, Sylyra, Uragum, and Zelra:
Sylyra lights the torch held by Uragum. The floor here is stone, and covered by a thin layer of mud that makes the tiles slick. A corridor ahead appears to be carved out of a natural cavern, and the area smells of mildew and rot. The room itself is 40-by-50-feet, with a 10-foot-high ceiling.
It appears that someone has cleared parts of the wall and floor, revealing the remnants of some kind of fresco that is far too faded to identify. A 40-foot coil of rope is tied around the top step of a 12' ladder that rests against the north wall. One end of the rope is sliced and frayed and coiled on the ground as if dropped from above.
Muddy boot tracks of several human-sized creatures lead out of the room. A beaten brass door that leads out of the room is currently open to the corridor beyond.
OOC: Yep my bad, that action was being held. Edited the previous post to reflect that. I'm not always going to remember everything, just remind me when I forget and it will be fixed.
"Tracks look like they lead through the door there." he says while pointing. "From the looks of it, they was clearing the area and making their way deeper. If that's the case and they didnt return, they either were unlucky and had an accident or trouble found em. If there were spirits about upstairs bet there is more trickery down here."

Ola would find something to tie the rope to, chose the longest and most undamaged rope and once torch was thrown in, would descent.

Why would Ola remain on top if "Ola ... once torch was thrown in, would descent." ?
