"Should we knock?" Uragum whispers and he then starts to roll up his sleeves and bear his muscles, "Or should we knock?" Implying he try and burst open the door.
ooc: please note he has not even checked if the door is unlocked
Zelra raises an amused brow at Uragum. "We should probably keep as quiet as we possibly can. Just check if you can open the door quietly and if you can peek inside to see anything."
The first of the two doors does not open to Uragum's gentle pull. The frame and handle do not appear to be locked, but the door seems to be stuck within its frame.
OOC: Ready to advance once an action is taken. In case it's not clear, these doors are not blocking the corridor forward. They're to the side of the corridor.
Room Description:
The hallway forward begins to slope upward at a gentle angle, and there are two brass doors along the right side of the corridor. Holes on the doors and walls suggest that these could once be bolted shut from this side. The corridor continues past them.
Ooc: I apologize, I thought the doors blocked us from moving forward.
Leading the group forward again he stops at the doors to the right. "Sylyra, you want to check these doors too? I'm guess we want to not leave an opportunity for something to sneak up behind us as we go deeper." Uragum says.
Around the corner, the corridor leads to a round room, 60 feet in diameter, with a vaulted ceiling 30 feet high in the center. The majority of the room is a couple feet higher than the side that you have entered from, and accessed by a pair of steps. The corridor stops here, but there is a heavy stone door on the left side of the room that lies closed.
At the far side of the room, a large idol carved from a single piece of pale green stone stands in a pool of black water. It is carved in the shape of a tentacled humanoid with the head of a many-fanged fish, and bathes the room in a sickly green light.
Two pillars are arranged around the raised section of the floor. Dripping water kicks up a brackish smell of rot, mixed with the unmistakable tang of blood.
Zelra scrunches her face up with disgust, covering her mouth and nose with her hand. "Aw man. First those ghouls and now this." While Ola is looking around for the source of the blood, she heads to the door and examines it to see whether its locked or trapped.
Does the idol ring any of Sylyra's bells? If not, he'll pull out the journal and thumb through quickly, looking for any sketches of anything resembling the idol and any accompanying text.

Uragum will try to open the door gently and peek his head in.

"It's stuck..." he says and puts forth a little more effort to unstuck it without to much noise.
Strength: 20
After that he says, "I don't think we are gettin in quietly..."
This first door isn't budging for Uragum. Even with the mighty goliath's strength, it seems to have swelled permanently stuck to its hinges over time.

"Not the worst outcome, at least we can be sure nothing will come out of this room."

"Back in the other room, wasn't there a hole or something up in the corner? Maybe they went in there cause they didn't come through here," he says.
"I hear nothing on the other side," Sylyra says. He looks at Zelra. "What is around the corner?"
"Doesn't look to be much over here, either. I wonder where this all leads to."

"If we can't get in here, doubtless anyone has recently." Sylyra walks to where the corridor bends and takes a look around the corner.

OOC: These are the doors that we aren't able to open. Barty was just restating the description of where we already are.
Ooc: my mistake.
Uragum will then follow Sylyra keeping his magic sense up.

(Is there any visible source of the blood smell? The water itself is red? Dead animals around? (or humanoids)? Blood marks like in the previous room?)
