Bry looks at the twisting vine creature and summons his classic warbling mass of chaos energy, "Hey, chill out...or be shocked, or maybe freeze? I'm really rolling the dice here so pick the appropriate phrase once we see what this does!"

The undulating orb of energy flashes through multiple colors before settling on a frost blue that seems to cool the air around it. Bry let’s it loose and it streaks through the air, zig zagging in an unpredictable fashion, and strikes into the center of the blight’s chest as Grim rolls out of its grasp. The vines shatter into ice chips and leave a hole in the creature’s chest, but it’s not down yet! 

However, fate remembers the favor you called on and it’s time.... For A SURGE! No peaking. 

Bry! As you feel the ice bolt leave you, you feel a sense of irony. Almost dying to ice, then using ice, kinda funny. It’s getting a bit hot though. Like really hot... Do you smell smoke? Yes! You do! As you are currently burning a hole in the floor! More irony!

"Hot, hot, hot feet! Oh gods a Winery is the worst place for this to happen!" Bry scrambles around trying to get away from the fire's he is setting.

With each step, you leave a smoldering footprint in your wake. It’s like someone walked through a bunch of flour, but with burning oil.

Meanwhile, with Davmorn’s turn, he looks worried for a moment that Bry has become the Anti-Smokey Bear. However, he will instead turn his attention to the viney beast. With a flash of his symbol, he will call down Sacred Flame onto the Vine Blight’s head (Dex Save: 19), but with shocking and unearthly speed, it curles around the column of flame... which is... greeeat. “Lovely! The plants are better at avoiding death than we are! This place is hell!”

George hefts his axe high and brings it down in a crashing motion as he cleaves the blight in two. A spray of blood paints George's front as the blight crumples with a last, breathy hiss, "Darkstone... you will die... screaming... as they did," However, the voice once again becomes eerily feminine, though this time dripping with false sincerity, "As they all did..."

Room Clear!

"George clean blood off George face?" 

"What in the Nine Hells was that about Grim?"

Grim will kneel down at the blight, "I think," he says holding back his emotions, "that was my mother. The tree was talking to me."

It is worth noting that you all could hear the voice. It wasn’t just some telepathy, the blight was physically speaking. Grim, if you’d like, you can give me an Arcana or Nature check because you’ve studied blights.

Meanwhile, Bry is still setting the house on fire.

"Guys! Can someone find maybe like a bucket of water..." Bry touches a nearby piece of furniture and it starts smoldering, "...or 2?"

“Bah! You’re setting the whole room ablaze, ya daft magician!” Davmorn will march over to Bry and try to hoist him off the floor Dirty Dancing-style, 16, and does so with a little bit of effort. “By Kelemvor, what do you weigh!?” After a minute or so of this, the heat dies down and you no longer can cause forest fires... unless you try.

"Why...Davmorn, you're so... strong." Bry winks at Davmorn and then readies himself to be set down.

Davmorn winks and drops Bry on his butt and walks back over to Grim, while muttering to himself, “Bah, first he nearly freezes to death then he nearly sets all ablaze! Kelemvor give me strength!”

Bry stands and begins to rub his backside, "You really know how to treat a fella special Dav'y"

Davmorn calls back, “Only you Bry. Only you.”

Yeah... can’t seem to remember anything about blights right now given that you just heard your mother’s voice strangling you.
