Urwin steps up and marches over to you, he puts both hands on the table and whispers sternly, “Shh. Listen. I’m not going to kick you out. Especially not because the baron’s guard dog told me to. However, you need to understand I have priorities here.” He looks over to a pair of children that are conversing with some of the guests, actually delivering some genuine smiles, “My family is what’s most important here. While I’ll do what I can, it’s never at their risk, understand?” He slides Bry a key, “Down the hall, there’s a trapdoor on the ceiling. Unlock it with this, and you all can stay there until you need to leave town. It’s gonna be cramped though, especially for the big guy. Sorry but that’s all I can do.”

Urwin nods and heads back to the kitchen. Davmorn speaks up a little, “Well... that was... something. If ya don’t mind, I think I’ll check out the church. Might be a good place to hold out if things get rough.” Ireena nods, “I agree. To be perfectly honest, perhaps the priest might know how to keep... him away. I’ll join you Davmorn.”
"Before you leave" Bry stands and walks over to both of them so he is standing only a few inches away, "I think I am getting the general idea here, I know the weight we currently carry on our hearts, but lets keep a mask of content so as to not rattle anyone cages, ya?"
As you all head out and reach the church, you find that this slouching, centuries-old stone church has a bulging steeple in the back and walls lined with cracked, stained glass windows depicting pious saints. A fence of wrought iron encloses a garden of gravestones next to the church. A thin mist creeps among the graves. Davmorn walks over to the door and gives a few quick knocks. After a few moments, the doors open, and a wizened old priest greets you. The strange thing is that he’s... normal? There’s no eerie weeping or demonic ritual from inside the church. No perpetual crying, and he actually greets you with a gentle, albiet surprised, smile. “Hello, what can I do for you?” The priest seems to be an elderly human male dressed in black priest robes and wearing a sun pendant. Davmorn eyes him a bit, “Aye, hello. We’re not from around here, we were hopin’ we could come in?” The priest nods, “Oh! Yes, please come in. Forgive the dust, we were in the middle of cleaning and weren’t expecting anyone till tonight.” The church seems fairly simple. There are blue and yellow tapestries emblazoned with a sun on either side of the pulpit. Various benches and chairs provide seating and a small boy is sweeping dust from the floor. Davmorn and Ireena are a bit distracted as they look around.

The priest gives you a quizzical look, “Well, as with most folk in Barovia, we worship the Morning Lord.” He gestures to the various suns all along the church. “People can not forget what hope feels like. When we lose hope is when we lose ourselves.”

Bry takes a few swigs off whatever alcoholic beverages are available to him, before standing and addressing whoever was left behind, "I'm going to go have a look around town, see what sort of festivities the town has planned. Anyone want to come along?"
Adanmar will reach later Urwin when the barkeeper will be more duties-free. He wants to know, well, simply what just happened, what they did just so wrong for the guard. He will talk about this even with Rictavio as well, what did they know of the situation basically.
He then follows Bry outside the Inn to have a look on the town.
"You'll have to forgive me, I have lived a somewhat," Grim struggles to find the right word, "... sheltered life, you could say. So I'm not familiar with this, or many other, Deities."

Bry looks to Urwin, "You're not going to listen to him right? I mean, we are paying customers and we've done nothing to wrong you"

Bry palms the key from the table, stowing it quickly into a belt pouch, "The Mistbusters appreciate your generosity"
