MistBusters - A Curse of Strahd PbP

Adanmar slides along a barrel and looks around at the rest of the team, except for Elwarith who has just vanished. How does he do it!? However, as Adanmar shifts his weight, the floor creaks. The druid once again turns toward the noise and mutters something you can’t quiet make out.

His teammates hear foot steps then see Grim leaping over the barrels with one hand, and rushing the antler man. He uses his momentum to shove his Quarterstaff into the solar plexus, causing the man to stumble back. He whips his staff around his back and aims for the head, but his stumble left him just out of reach. Grim plants the staff in the ground and uses it to push him up to deliver Swift kicks to the man. One finds it's place in the throat, and the other is a kick in the gut.

Grim ends his attacks in the familiar fighting stance his freinds see him use. The madness seeming have to left him.

Wonderful! The Druid seems to buckle under the weight of Grim’s blows, but remains standing. However, Grim now sees that he is surrounded by five twig blights, all chittering and clawing at his pants. Also, we’ll just use the previous initiatives, so it’s easier.

Adanmar grunts over the creak he produced and silently hexes Elwarith for being so sneaky. The Blood Hunter gives away with the stealth plan and goes for the front. He turns the corner and releases two rapids arrows to the horned Druid.

One of the arrows careens past Grim, who had just brutalized the man, before sinking firmly into the druid’s skull. He flies back, the arrow shattered and life snuffed out. The Druid is dead.

Funnily enough, Grim is next.

Grim takes in his surroundings, "Well it seems you have me surrounded..." Grim cracks a smile as he says this, the look on his face cockey and the face the Mistbusters are used to seeing, "...you poor bastards."

Grim becomes a whirlwind of blows. His staff blows the legs of one blight and it also makes a hole in the chest of another. A round house kick swings to the head of another but his heel couldn't connect. He spins in place to keep momentum, then uses it in his forward step to the blight, causing his upcoming punch to hurt more than usual. His fist connects and then breaks through the chest, leaving the blight hanging on grim's bloody arm before it falls apart.

((I believe it is worth noting that Grim rolled on the Discord server, which is why he did not roll here.))

Bry, you’re up. Twigs 1-3 are kindling, Twigs 4-5 remain!

Bry summoned a firebolt in one hand, bouncing it up and down, counting the twig blights again he raised his other hand and summoned another one. "Yippee ki yay little trunkers"  he said as he chucked the firebolts.

And in a flourished flash, both Twig blights are reduced to ash! The room now lies bare, but you notice two things. The first thing you notice is that the wine is preserved! From the looks of these bottles, it seems that it’s an entire rack of Red Dragon Crush wine, around forty bottles! The second, is that on the eastern section of the cellar, towards the center of the room, there are three frosted over barrels of Purple Grapemash, which is strange due to the fact that nothing else is frozen...

The Blood Hunter inspects the cellar finding something interesting (Perception 18). "Hey....hey guys, you see? There's something here, in the middle of the hallway...it seems that...this wall its kind of fake, do you wanna check on the other side?"

Elwarith will pocket a bottle of Red Dragon Crush and step out of the shadows next to Adanmar "Curious.....we should investigate."

Bry's hand instinctively moved to the figurine in his pocket for some reason. 'That's a weird thought' he said to himself, not sure what to think about it coming to him right at this moment. Maybe it was shelves filled with someone's hard work and labor, or maybe it, maybe it was something else altogether. Bry followed the others nonetheless, happy to have a distraction to keep him from dwelling.

The figurine remains cold and motionless, as inanimate as the when you stole it. It’s still uncomfortably realistic... how on earth did they get that scar so accurate... However, the whispering voice once again crawls up your neck, “It sounds like you’ve had a wonderfully exciting evening...” Before running silent once more. 

So are we attempting to open the wall?
